Best customer service ever -rare find. My mixer works perfectly! They went to a lot of work to mail it back so it was not damaged.

Poor service and takes too long to receive repairs. And very rude when you try to find out anything.

Wonderful service. I mailed my grooming clippers to Ft. worth shaver. I got a call the next day that they received them. Called 2 days later to take payment and they mailed them right away. Received clippers next day. Mailed on a Wednesday received them on Saturday. The $ with shipping was under $32. I highly recommend this place. As for the reviews that said bad customer service, I had nothing but the best customer service. I used the clippers this morning on my dog and they work better than when I first got them. read more

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. I just moved here from San Diego and was super nervous about dropping my babies off for sharpening but i asked around and was recommended this place by multiple people. I was in no rush for my stuff back, as I had no deadline. I think I dropped off Friday and picked up Tuesday. WONDERFUL JOB, I am in absolute awe. I was missing a TON of my little grippers that screw in to where your fingers go..... they replaced them all, no cost. Those things are dang near impossible to find. Horrible customer service. I called them over two months ago requesting mobile sharpening. I am located about a hour away from them. Told them I had minimal 10 pairs of scissors but that I likely had more. 25-30 blades. As well as two other groomers at another place 5 min away from me needing sharpening. So that is 3 groomers with enough stuff to have taken them a full day to do. The girl on the phone then told me oh well she didn't know the schedule and she would leave a message for them. Never heard a word back from them. Yet over two months later they text me saying they would be in town the next day so I still need service. No I needed service when I called but my and the other groomers business clearly was not good enough for them to bother with. So rather than calling me back when I requested service they literally tossed my info aside and did not bother till someone else called them. Not how you do business. read more

Shaver and Appliance was the recommended repair shop by Kitchenaid for their counter top mixers for the TX area. I drove 50miles to have my unit repaired and it was worth the trip. This appliance repair shop had great service and performed the repair skillfully and on time. I highly recommend them and would take my Kitchenaid back to them in the future for maintenance. I haven't been into the store in person, but I had such great support over the phone I had to post a review. (once I have been in person and have actually had something fixed, i'll up my rating to 5 stars) Without going into too many details, they were able to figure out what part my Zojirushi water heater needed over the phone, giving me the part numbers and a complete breakdown on how much getting it fixed would cost (assuming nothing else was wrong besides what I know about). I look forward to seeing them in person. If their service over the phone is anything like it is in person, I will keep them in mind; the next time an appliance starts acting up, I think I'll let them have a crack at it before I chuck it into a landfill. read more

Awesome place for us hairstylist and barbers to take clippers and such for repairs. Not only does this place help us out, but they also repair most small appliances. Some from 30 years even. It is very hard to find this skill set and although I live in Dallas, I can ship my things to them and they ship them back overnight. I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I came here to service my Andis Masters because they were malfunctioning and they were extremely helpful. This place is not just for cosmetologist but also for pet groomers, barbers, lamp enthusiasts, and so much more! Pricing is very reasonable, even with the products that they have there. A gentleman working there even gave me some tips and tricks on how to care for my clippers. I will definitely make the drive from Dallas again to come see them. read more

These kind geniuses repaired my old KitchenAid mixer. Apparently a very tedious task only a saint would attempt. Store had some serious goodies including a handled mixing bowl I bought for my rejuvenated old machine & the best pot scrubbers ever! If you care about your things, DO NOT take them to Ft. Worth Shaver and Appliance for repair. Their repair people do not know how to repair things properly. I took an antique lamp (family heirloom) to have the wiring checked. Without checking with me, the repairman began doing other things to the lamp that I had not asked him to do, messing up the mechanism for attaching the Tiffany-type shade to the lamp. After 3 return visits, he finally gerrymandered it together so that it works, but the lamp has been compomised. The repairman was very apologetic (after the fact); however, I cannot say so much for the women at the front counter. They were rude. Very frustrating. I cannot recommend this business to anyone. read more
