In the market for a piano, I travel a lot for work and usually have some free time while traveling. After entering the store I was greeted by a very nice lady. I did tell her that I was from out of town and more then 2000 miles away from home and that it was not very likely that I would purchase a piano in her store. We own the piano "Belarus". Not everybody now knows this name. The piano was made probably in a short period when the piano building industries in the USSR were at the peak. This piano has a "Quality Mark". As far as we know, this sign of honor was used in USSR for a very short period before the piano building industries together with other industries began to decline. The piano was bought 10 years ago from our friend, who, unfortunately, died very soon. Like us, he was from St. Petersburg, and this community was very important to us. Now the piano became a memory of our good friend. For last 10 years the piano was tuned one time by a friend of our daughter. The sound was very interesting, crisp and unpredictable. Probably Olga Neuwirth has at home the piano like that. I found on the Internet a piano tuning service in the immediate vicinity of my house on Route 4. The piano tuner Nikolai Solodovnikov was informed, that the instrument is very old and like all old creatures has a special character. Nikolai accepted this challenge and came to us. After an hour and a half, the tuning was done. The instrument was ready for real classical music. Now again we can play "Funeral dolls". We began to feel our self much younger, because last time we played this beautiful music a half of a century ago. In addition to his wonderful work, Nikolai informed us about his experience with a healthy lifestyle. It was done completely free of charge! My husband is a piano technician. We always recommend Forte Piano when a client asks for the name of a piano dealer.

In order to secure our deal, they asked for a $250 deposit. That was in last December 2017. The piano was delivered in March 2018, but the invoice did not credit the deposit. "no problem" i was told by Dena. They would send me a full refund asap. April, May, now 3/4 the way through June, still waiting for refund. Are they inefficient?
