    My americano
    Jeffery L.

Went here one morning while in town for work based on the recommendation of a client. Great little spot. My Americano was great. Served in a cool diner-style mug. The barista was great. Friendly. Helpful. Clearly enjoying her morning (or at least pretending too). I did not try any food, but the bakery items looked decent. I would definitely go back.

Loft-style ceilings with cozy nooks to change up the mood of your experience each time you choose a seat. Things you should know: I. PARKING You'll have to take the street option and parallel if you plan on visiting here. If you have a public library card, parking in their lot and then walking is a good alternative if there are no parallel spaces available. That's if you want FREE parking. If you want something closer, by all means, go to a nearby garage with paid parking. II. SERVICE The milk steamer wasn't operating. Bummer.. since this is the only impression I'll be able to have of Fortezza Cafe as someone from out-of-state. The staff was friendly about it. I like that they have sugar free syrup options available here for beverages. IV. QUALITY The Americano was acidic and dense. I would say the glassware needs updating ~ the mug I used was fairly dingy for something you put intimately to your lips. V. CAPACITY A few tables were available around noon on a weekday. The cafe is rather quiet and ideal for those who want to focus and knock out work.

Nice coffee cafe in the heart of downtown. It was a few minute walk from my hotel, reviews and prices seemed good so I wanted to check it out. The staff was friendly, the decor was perfect for a coffee shop. I was a bit disappointed with the oatmeal as I'm pretty sure it was from a packet and heated in the microwave. The coffee was ok, I didn't like that they didn't have half and half out so you could add your own; they do it for you.

Lots of seating and unique decor

Fortezza is THAT spot for vibes and great sips. My sister and I popped in and found the shop to be quaint and cozy. We ordered our drinks and saw there was a lot more seating in the back. And so many great photo opportunities (that we fully to advantage of) I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk while my sister got an iced earl grey tea. Both were yummy! The menu was short and sweet but sometimes simplicity is best that way. I would definitely come here again when I'm exploring the 260.

Yummy treats and delicious coffee in downtown Fort Wayne. I've always loved this area!

Fortezza is forever my favorite place to go grab coffee with friends or coworkers. The baristas are always so nice. The coffee is a lot stronger than many other places I've been to, which I like very much. A cute place to walk to if you live or work downtown. They have deserts and food too I'm pretty sure. Highly recommended!

Nice little coffee house downtown Fort Wayne. Limited selections but overall better than Starbucks.

Great coffee if that's all you want. But they also have unique food options and seasonal drinks. Not a better coffee spot in the area!

We were seated in a very awkward corner table for two where the tables were really close together. Since it was our Valentine's celebration, I would have been uncomfortable with the tables next to us having people at them because it didn't give you any privacy or space for private conversation. We did not get drinks or appetizers. Our meals were very good (salmon and chicken). The server was good but didn't refill my water and that' a big deal to me. Also, it's supposed to be an upscale place and they were out of paper towels in the bathroom. I feel like that is just basic service they should check on regularly.

This restaurant is set in an old building that used to house a pharmacy. It retains the character of the building via the hardwood interiors, tall ceilings, large window views of the street and concrete/industrial ceilings. The interior is nicely decorated with inviting green, brown wood and black accent colors. Table settings were very attractive as well. You can park in the small side lot or on the street. Reservations are easily made on line. The team is very friendly and welcoming. All set the stage for a fun and relaxing dinner experience. Spoke + Ivy has a very small food and specialty cocktail menu. This is the second time we have been here. Each time we found the food to be delicious and the cocktails are uniquely designed. Here is a run down on the food items we ordered: -Focaccia Bread: a mildly sweet, dense/firm bread, slightly airy with a touch of herbs to accent. It is cut into blocks so it is easier to share. The vodka sauce is thin in consistency with a smooth Italian seasoned tomato appeal. Both make for a deliciously simple starter. -Lobster Roll Rangoon: decided to give this a try. It comes out as one large Rangoon - not individual pieces. This means that you must awkwardly cut this shareable into pieces. The slightly crispy & oily wrapper is similar to most crab Rangoon pieces. It has a nice crisp. The inside has shredded pieces of lobster. It was not filled with creme cheese sauce like traditional rangoons - just plain. The green lemon parsley sauce was simply outstanding! It's very fresh, moderately thick and has a slightly tart taste. This added "the sauce" to what the inside of the Rangoon was lacking. -Milanese: nicely breaded chicken that was very moist. The breading is slightly sweet. The fresh bed of arugula salad is a nice add -Prime Rib Pho: this sounded really interesting. It's a smaller/healthier dish. The medium rare prime rib was sliced thin and tender. There wasn't many pieces of prime rib in this dish. The add-ins were fresh and much like you would expect from a Pho dish - just not as much volume. The broth has a chili oil base that gives it a spicier flavor. Overall we really enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and character of the building. The delicious food and cocktails are excellent.

The environment has a slightly industrial feel with just a hint of coziness, which gives it a modern but still comfortable vibe. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. It was alright -- nothing special, but given the size and volume of the place, I don't necessarily expect everything to be made completely fresh to order. It did the job. The service was also just alright. My interaction with the barista/bartender was brief and unfortunately a bit stale. She wasn't rude, just not particularly warm or memorable. Overall, it's a convenient place with a lot of options, but the experience itself was pretty average.

But on the few occasions that I remember that iced coffee exists, I remember that I've forgotten that iced coffee is bangin'. The iced coffee at Conjure Coffee is great.
