He's flexible with odd schedules too. He has the ability to speak English well. He can communicate detailed information about paint, problems, and all the little things. I say this not identify him for any reason but to promote his business. :) Now the detailing.... ahhh the detailing! Everything, and I mean everything had been cleaned! Not just the areas that you can see, but inside the glovebox, door pockets, under the floor mats, spare tire compartment, engine compartment, center consoles, nooks, crannies, and so many more "behind the scene" areas. We opened the hood, and the top cover was so clean, you could eat off it! The headlights were crisp and clear! I had a HOV pass that left sticky crud on my windshield. The sun bakes it on. They got it all off, with no residue whatsoever. I didn't even ask! WOW! Children left kick marks on the bottom of my door panels. Those are gone. The dash and tires were treated to a conditioning top coat...so clean and shiny. I have WeatherTech floor mats and cargo liners... these were all shined up. The dash instruments, knobs, compartments, etc are so clean. The drink holders had no goobers whatsoever, and looked brand new! There were no watermarks, streaks, windshield wiper outlines, or anything else that smacks of its recent cleaning. There were scent stiks in the vents making the whole interior smell lovely. I have a mid-size SUV. The price compared to other local businesses, for comparative detail packages, were well over $100 less!!! PLEASE READ There are so few companies with good customer…read moreservice theses days. I recently took my Toyota Corolla to TK Automotive Repair for a oil change and over all check. The car was diagnosed and I was giving a list of repairs and time frame. I was told to pick my car up at 4pm the next day. I arrived at 4:15. It was not done and was still in the air being worked on. I ask when I should come back and was told about an hour. I called about 30 minutes later and was told it's taking longer then expected. Everything up to this point is fine. Simple mistakes. Lake of communication. 4 out of 5 stars. Things taking longer then expected is fine as well. But when the owner of the business started to get upset with me is when the ratings starts to drop. Saying he doesn't have a crystal ball and he is going out of his way for me. Staying late to finish the job. Then I'm told they have the wrong part and Its going to be finished tomorrow. They did not stay late. When I asked if he has done this type of work before his reply was every a day all the time. But he can't give me an estimated time. "I don't have a crystal ball" OK after talking to the owner of TK Automotive Repair I was told I was going to "get my car when I get it when its done and fuck off". Asking me "now what, what do we do now". My response was fix my car. He was the rudest small business owner I've met. I'm still a little bit in shock. Did he really say fuck off. Yes he did. Then he started yelling some more about a crystal ball and told me to fuck off again. After this he said " I'm calm, why are you still upset" Then demanded to know what we should do after making me wait three days to pick up a car that should've taken 2 all the time getting upset with me. My old '99 van's window had gotten smashed on Tuesday morning, so I started calling around for a replacement estimate, and 1st Choice gave me the best price, even though it was a special-order window due to my van being so old.. Amazingly, my window was replaced just a couple days later, on Friday; and it wasn't an easy install.. during the process, it was discovered that the pre-existing dent on the door had bent the support rods on the interior of the door a little... but he was able to deal with it so well that the window now works perfectly- and here's the thing: even though that surprise damage lengthened the repair time, the price didn't change, and as someone who had to scrape the barrel for money to pay for the repair to begin with, I'm beyond grateful for that kindness! So few repair shops nowadays are willing to go the extra mile to complete the unexpectedly complex job without increasing the cost, simply to do it right.. it's noteworthy that 1st Choice Auto Glass is one of them and if you're in need of window or windshield replacement, I highly recommend this business!!
