These guys are awesome! The facility is well maintained and clean, and the employees are some of the nicest young folks you could hope to find; super polite and accommodating. I've been coming here ever since moving to Bellingham and it's always a great wash and excellent service. Their customer service really shines; I was working for a construction company a few years ago when we had an incident where the dirt trucks showed up before the water truck.. cue a dust bowl cloud and over 100 dirty cars, oops! Management decided to make it right by offering all the affected homeowners a free car wash coupon, which I was tasked with procuring. Idk if you've ever tried to buy 100 car washes at once for a bunch of strangers, but it's a tough task! I called up Car Wash King and explained the situation, and they had them ready to go within an hour. Amazing! Went to which is always my favorite car wash today i live in Burlington but work in Bellingham and this car wash does the best job and the people are great had an issue today with not having my normal debit card with me Winston was willing to take what i had in cash as payment so i could get the car washed which was awesome i appreciated that but would have felt bad so we figured it out but that is amazing customer service in my book Great people and the best clean, and will add prices are great too. Great quality car wash with the owners own son doing a lot of the work. Only 1$ more than the nearby Costco car wash and this place does a better job, has free vacuums (shampoo for the vacuums is extra which is worth) and, this place will not dent up your car like the new Costco carwash. Was given free car dash cleaning wipes by the attendant. the prices also already include tax which is awesome and I always like to see. read more

I'm embarrassed to say how long it's been since my car had a car wash. Suffice it to say, it's been a LONG time. I planned on getting a wash today after my Bellingham Target run and since I've passed this car wash often right on Meridian (a main drag in town), I figured this was the place. And it was great. I opted for the top tier service for $14. The guy who was working here when I visited couldn't have been nicer or more pleasant, and when I asked him which of the three options I should get, I was impressed that he didn't automatically suggest the highest price package. (In the end, I chose the priciest of the three packages as my car really could use some extra cleaning and pampering and because, at $14, that still was a super reasonable price. Oh, and all the prices they list for services include all the taxes. So no hidden add-on costs. I like that). I like how the guy gave us a special wipe for our dashboard, too. Nice touch. My car ended up looking terrific and it took only a few minutes and there were no scratches from the experience, or any missed spots. I also liked how my car was dry at the end (in the past, at other car washes, I'd have to towel down my car as the dryers never completely dried all the areas). The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I found the lanes directing me to the car wash entrance poorly marked (and it's a strange route to take, to the entrance). I missed a turn somewhere and had to go around two long blocks to enter the area again. Unless you are familiar with this place, it's confusing. They definitely could use some signs and better street delineation with paint markings on the road, pointing us to the entrance. read more

Was in middle of wash...car in front of me..hit gear shift went in reverse and it came back and hit my car. Smashed my plate and cover. It was chaos after that!! Wash shut down...i sat there..soapy...they ushered out car in front of me...i finally was ushered out...the attendants (young people)...were rushing about looking confused...yelling at each other... I was still charged for a wash I didn't get...didn't get offered a refund ...no offers for a free wash... It was a terrible experience! read more

A decent place to get your car washed. No frills here and certainly different than car wash places in California, but this place was pretty fast and efficient. Interesting that they have you go through the wash with your car and wish they had people dry your car off, but I guess that accounts for the cheaper prices to pay. The attendant was friendly and helpful and I was the only car there when I came so I was able to get to vacuum station pretty easily and within about 20 minutes, I had a clean car inside and out. I'd return here in the future if I am in the area and need to clean my car (or even a rental) read more

Good service, quick and the attendant was very polite and friendly. They also did a good job cleaning my car. The only downside was when I was using the vacuum, the tube came out and it spent a good 30 seconds trying to put it back while the vacuum was still running. read more

To get my vehicle sparkling clean, I go to Car Wash King! I don't feel Bellingham has any nice places to take your car. I am used to going to Brown Bear Car Wash were I lived before, and sure miss going there. However, this place is A-OK in my book! They offer good prices and friendly service, (the girl who works there is the sweetest!) and get a car wipe for the interior of your car as you pay. It does the job, is friendly, convenient, and am a regular customer! read more

I see the other reviews, and my god I love this place. They have by far the best prices around. Lots of cleaning equipment in the car wash tunnel the tire chain pulls your car though. 2 sets of brushes, the strips of cloth that wiggle back and forth, lots of soap, and if you want, (for an extra charge) they have an Armoral spray to get your tires nice and shiny. That spray lasts longer than the stuff you get in the store. They always get your back window, for a truck that's kind of important. The best part is... The end they have a large number of high powered air blowers that to an amazing job of getting most of the water off your vehicle. I usually have to just run the hand towel over a few places and my truck looks really clean! Never had any damage on my truck, maybe cause I remove the long antenna when I get it washed. They do an amazing job. You will be pleased with how clean your car looks and very little water to wipe off at the end. read more

Car Wash King is one of those places I've driven by approximately six million times in my life but had never stopped until recently. This is a large, no-frills car wash with an incredible $6 "basic wash" special that will get all the grime off your car without the extra expense of the usual car wash add-ons. I like to go mid-day on a weekday when there's rarely a line so it's a quick visit. What's different about this spot is there's nobody at the end to hand-dry your car like at other places - I guess that's what you get for their low prices. They also have coin-op vacuums and car-related vending items (like air fresheners). I appreciate that the vacuum area is covered. All-in-all this is a great spot to stop at if your car needs a bit of a spit-shine. read more

SCRATCHES! Just to update on my previous review. I spoke with the owner regarding the scratches on my 2016 Camry Hybrid (Less that 500mi at the time of incident). After many long winded stories from him, he ultimately denied responsibility by saying he doesn't see how the car wash could have left the scratches. Keep in mind, he denied liability without looking at the car or before seeing any pictures. I bought my car new, drove it off the lot new, and have not traveled long distances in it. I keep it in a parking garage when I'm at home. The only thing that I've done since purchase was go through this car wash. Pictures to come. read more

Attendant #1 told me they needed to remove my antenna before the wash. Antenna #2 (the 'manager') brought his wrench over, looked at it, and left it in place. SNAP! My antenna broke off. I talk to 'manager' he says something like, Gosh, I thought Tacoma trucks didn't need that, only Tundras did. I asked to fill out a damage claim. He gave me a tiny slip of paper and told me to write my name and number on it and the owner would call me. Do you think the owner called me? Of course not. People make mistakes, heck I made a mistake by not taking the dang antenna off myself. But when people or companies make a mistake their follow up to their mistake shows the true nature of their character or their business. One star for not owning their mistake and making it right. If they do, I will gladly up this to 5 stars. read more

I have ambivalent feelings about getting my car washed here. I'm happy with the prices, which range from $6 for a basic wash to $14 for a clear coat deluxe job. I feel like they do a better job at getting the dirt off than Sunset Carwash (which always seems to leave small areas uncleaned) but the washes have been inconsistent in the last year. My car only has town/occasional freeway driving so it's not filthy. One time I bought my SUV in and afterward there was still dried leaves/road debris stuck on it. I immediately drove around to the entrance and showed them what was left on it after washing. The guy working there seemed unapologetic and argued that if it didn't come off the first time going thru again wouldn't do much good. However, he didn't offer me a refund. He reluctantly had me put the car thru the wash again and -- guess what? It came clean. This made me happy but I realized that the second time thru he'd given me only a basic wash. I'd paid for the most expensive one. The second wash rinsed off all the extras I'd paid for (clear coat, tire dressing, etc). I knew it was worthless to go back and complain (again), so I just left. Most importantly, one time, about 18 months ago I came thru the car wash and used my credit card. The guy disappeared with it for what seemed like an extremely long time. Within 24 hours my credit card was used for fraudulent purposes. Aside from places like the grocery store and gas stations (where the card never leaves my sight) the only place I'd been was this car wash. Since then I've only come here when I have cash, because when you pay by credit card they do take your card around the corner and out of your view (something Sunset Car Wash does not do). I continue to use this place but if something better were out there, I'd stop giving them my business. One last thing - I dislike that they do not have any mirrors at the exit so you cannot the sides of your car. When you exit the car wash it goes right into the gas station so there isn't a convenient place to pull over get out and check your car. read more

NEVER, NEVER take your SUV. to this car wash. it ripe off the back panel on our SUV. We take excellent car of our vehicles, so there was zero reason this happen. When we try to contact owner, get this solve, owner NEVER returned our calls. ( many messages left ) $650.00 worth of damage , which did not include painting the new panel to match our green color SUV. read more

My favorite car wash in Bellingham. You get a quick thorough touch free car wash for just $6.00. There are no hard bristle brushes to scratch my car's surface. The staff is always helpful and friendly and quickly removes any residue or hard to clean spots on my car before it enters the automatic wash. My car comes out sparkling clean. There are many self-serve vacuums. I won't take my car anywhere else to be washed. I have tried other car washes in Bellingham and find this to be the best. read more

I'm pretty picky when it comes to my car (definitely prefer to wash it myself) but the few times I've been here my car doesn't come out as clean. It seems their brushes are old and not maintained regularly. But they're definitely the cheapest I've found ($6 for a basic) so if you need a quick, cheap, so-so wash this is the place! read more
