I've been a regular here for several years. It's conveniently located on Lakeway and near freeways. Usually not too long of a wait, they get the cars through fast. I always forget to go on Wednesdays for ladies day, $2.00 off. Only issue has been staff turnover results in inconsistent results sometimes. I have had the basic wash and the deluxe wash and haven't noticed much difference except in pricing. This is a drive through place, but the two attendants will help answer any questions, take your money and provide you a receipt and discount coupon for your next visit. The vacuums are self-serve and require quarters, but they start immediately upon entering one quarter, so you can deposit one at a time if you don't have a lot of mess to clean up or a lot of quarters readily available. There is also a change machine if you need to exchange bills for quarters. There were vending machines for glass wipes ($1.00) and tire cleaner ($2.00) too. I went on a Tuesday afternoon in the summer, and there was no one there. My car had bird poop and tree droppings all over it when I arrived, and the auto wash did a fine job cleaning it off. Two guys at the end of the auto wash/dry do a very quick, cursory wipe down of the windows and adjust the mirrors and antenna if needed. I called and left a message for the business but of course have not heard back from them. An employee scratched my car with one of the brushes. I first heard about this car wash at an environmental booth at SeaFeast. Because we live so close to water sources here in BHam, they encouraged people to use one of a list of environmentally friends car washes versus washing at home where runoff can go directly to the bay or lakes that are a source of drinking water. So I tried them and they are great! They do a good pressure wash and scrub down before you go through the automated cleaning part, and give my car a quick hand dry at the end. Just had my car washed. I paid for the "Ultimate" wash because it includes a "wheel blast". When I got home I looked at my car and my chrome wheels looked terrible. I went back and explained the problem and the young woman said I could go through again in a very surly voice. When I got home after the second time through the wheels did not look much better. Multiple times I've had punk remarks and zero respect for me as a paying customer, and I am a guy who treats people with kindness everywhere I go. I just moved to Bellingham a few months ago and this is the only car wash I've been to. I don't feel the need to try somewhere else because, as that old, shitty cliche says, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I've been here a few times now and have yet to see a spot on my car when I get home. I get The Ultimate wash for $15 and my car has come out shining every time. I've received a "dollar off any wash" coupon each time, which I just give as an extra tip when I use it. They also have a $12 and $9 wash option. The staff hustles to get your car clean and does it in a detailed, efficient manner. There's a tip box at the end on the left hand side where they dry your car off to throw some good karma into. I always show service workers a little extra love, especially when they perform at a high level. Solid spot. No need to go anywhere else. read more

I had been going to this car wash since I bought my new car (6 months ago) and had a good experience up until the last time, but that last time will absolutely be the last time I go. I went in for the top of the line car wash, because I had a routine were I would rotate between the 3, anyway that day was the day for the whole package deal. Pay, get my wash, tip, leave and go home. It was sunny out and as I got out of my car once I was back home I noticed a nice, long scratch on the back of my car Naturally I was upset, because how and why and why not just fess up?? I know the kids that work there are just that, kids, but come on, scratching someone car and not saying a single thing.. *side note: I noticed because I notice everything about my car, because it's BRAND NEW and I worked hard to buy it.. etc..* so I call and nothing... call again, nothing.. the more I examined it it looks like the brush that they use to do the manual once over before you go thru got turned to the side and left a nice long ( about 9 inches) scratch along the back door of my car. I got back to Bellingham after a hiking trip which entailed driving in & out down nine miles of very dusty road. My car was an absolute mess! I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try this car wash. The young kid laughed at me when I asked if he thought my car needed a wash. I chose the mid-level package for $13. Two people worked on either side of my car, scrubbing it down before I entered the tunnel. The trip through paused several times so my car had a chance to be thoroughly rinsed. At the end, two more people toweled the car off, reset the mirrors and waved me on my way. I tipped them $2 because their upbeat, cheerful attitudes did not seem forced. They brightened my day and my car. I also saw a sign that they have a "ladies day" discount on Wednesdays that I may take advantage of down the road. read more

I have just moved to Bellingham. My car was towed on a trailer and was pretty dirty. I went through the car wash and my windows were still filthy on the outside. My tire wheels did not looked like they have been touched. I still have massive bug guts on my front end. I guess I was spoiled in Georgia, when you get a car wash from 12-25 dollars, the car is completely dried and the inside is vacuumed and the interior windows are cleaned. At this car wash I had to pay to use the vacuums after I paid for the wash. This is no better than a coin operated do it yourself wash. I discovered this place on my way home from work the other day. They're friendly, fast, and do a great job for a fair price! This car wash seemed less crowded than others can be in the summertime, so I was in and out quickly. I also loved that Wednesday is $2 off a car wash for ladies! Sehome had men and women working side by side pre-cleaning my car with scrub brushes and wiping it down at the end. I appreciate small businesses that aren't afraid to hire women to do manual labor. It's frustrating that I haven't found a truly good car wash in town. One that offers great customer service and a truly consistently good wash. Bellingham just doesn't have it. Especially given that they aren't particularly cheap either. That said, I still think this is the best one, but sometimes you wait a long time to get served, often wondering if they are event actually open. Found this place by coincidence while passing through. Very friendly staff and a job well done by them. Truck still had several spots that were dirty afterward but not any worse than other places, even included a hand dry that had evidence of trying to wipe off the dirty spots. $12 bones for the deluxe which includes underbody. They used to pre-wash by hand to get all the tough spots. Now they pressure was it by hand and send it though the brushes. you come out the other end with big dirt spots all over the place. You might as well go though some gas station drive though for more than half the price. read more
