It costs me $300 to sign up and $24 a month for one year. All they did were removed one of my old addresses and corrected a wrong spelling. They did nothing to my credit. After 6 months of waiting for them to do something, they emailed me that they're done and asked me if there's anything else they could do for me. If you use this service you are a fool. I continuily pay 150 dollars a month for the rest of my life and only have 1 credit favorable score and it cost me $4000. The other 2 scores Credit Fortress Pro could not do anything with. This business is gimmicky at best and very misleading. They say they will fix all 3 of your credit reports and will string you along for a year and do 1/3 of what they boast they can do. I had a pretty good experience. I had to do my part to make sure it was a success, but they did take care of scrubbing my credit history clean. Went from 520 to a 740 as of now. You do have to change your habits and follow their methods on how to increase and maintain a high score. Not a bad review not a good review. They knocked off 2 items. They start with a bang and have a system. Keep in mind that they are probably not going to get a legal debt off or removed from your report. They can't perform miracles. It's more of a software system. Was it worth it? For me yes as I ran about 50/50 on a cash basis. I spent a total of $1,100. and knocked out about $2,700.00 in debt. You also need to be aware that while they are performance based, if they knock out an item on 2 bureaus you get charged for 2, not one knock off. So if they get a $150. debt removed on all 3 your at $375. for a $150.00 debt. My advice is to pay off the low hanging fruit first. Communication after the sale wasn't good. Initial Pitch Better than Results I was with Fortress for 6 months and they couldn't get anything deleted. I wound up just paying for credit mojo ( their partner) for 6 mo's. I found the owner Rondi on youtube and he had some really good advice, he explained their biz model, so I decided to take a shot with them. Upon the initial consultation they sold me and said that it would be easy, they'd definitely be able to help me out. Communication was pretty much like any typical run of the mill credit help company. Once a month they leave a note in your account of what was accomplished ( in my case nothing) and that they sent another round of letters. Whenever I try to call to get specific advise on how to handle an account, it's always sort of general advice and at the end of the convo the recommendation is always to be patient. When asked, they couldn't give any info specifically on why they think NO deletions were achieved. This is no knock on Rondi, he gives a great 3 hour ( audio file) credit course for free and it seems like he know what he's talking about. I wasn't charge anything but the initial fee's and credit mojo monthly but 6 months of time wasted sucks. read more

These people are the absolute worst of the worst, I Tried to cancel their service after two weeks because I read the reviews and they scared the crap out of me and my wife.. Wish I read the reviews first as they would have never been used in the first place. These professional scam artists wouldn't cancel my account, I called after two weeks paid 150.00 just to cover the mailings and told them to not send out anymore and to cancel my account.. Needless to say they did not and sent me a threatening letter saying they would report my bill to IRS... Seriously even creditors don't do that, can't say enough bad things about them. They say I now owe 2100.00 for 4 mo ths worth of their service which would be fine if they even did anything which they didn't. Most of the things they took credit for were things I did on my own, some things they said they deleted are still on my report... It's scary that these are the people saying they will help fix your credit and they are worse than the creditors. All that being said what's the most ridiculous is how they treat people on the phone and the complete disheveled way they run their office. Don't have opinion yet, and hopefully they gonna change it, but I am working with them for 2-3 weeks and after I made payments I couldn't reach them or ask what are the next step. When I call them during work ours it tells me that they are out of office and after I leave voicemail I never get call back. So at the moment I payed everything and I just sit and see how nothing is happening, cannot contact them or talk with them so you guys can judge it yourself. I do believe in Yelp fair review system and also in every business right to reply and earn their respect in the market. That can be done with our support as well (customers and former customers). An update for this review is fair I think! I would suggest to anyone who sign in for their service to clarify from the beginning the following aspects: - If they are going to dispute inquiries, name and address and how what charges will be there. - keep a copy of every credit report you mail out. Will help you to compare in case if there's any billing mistakes - Fortress billing department is great. I wish the credit coordinator would have been prompt as the billing was in returning calls! My experience was somehow based on a miscommunication/misunderstanding. They helped me to remove some of the bad records, but the difficulty to get in touch with the credit coordinator was somehow confusing. read more

These guys have handled three of my family's accts, including my own, and I can attest to the fact that my credit jumped about 100 pts in less than 30 days (I want to say about 14 days, not exactly sure though). Keep in mind everyone's credit situation is different, but with all the credit co.'s mix-ups (my acct. had almost 60 items to fix) results are likely in most cases, and these guys only charge me when something is removed/corrected. Fortress Credit Pro is a scam! This company will not only not fix your credit, but they will make it worse. I backed out of this company only after a initial consultation and the first round of letters they sent, which deleted nothing. After I went on with life I received a bill. They said they needed to charge me for address corrections and credit monitoring. They paid the credit monitoring company and they wanted reimbursement. I though this was a total crock! I called the credit monitoring company and they stated my account with was canceled and I owed them nothing, but Fortress was trying to bill me for it. They turned around and sent me to a collection agency, which reports to a credit bureau. Luckily I learned a lot about fixing credit, fired off a letter of my own. Reported them BBB and also reported them to the authorities. I have all my ducks in a row if it needs to come to court! I got letter from monitoring services that they did not charge me, I also have proof from my credit report that none of the addresses was never deleted.
