UPDATE: After 1 week of my discharge from bankruptcy, I was not only approved for a credit card, but also got approved to finance with an auto loan on a 20k car. After 2 months of my discharge, I was approved for ANOTHER CREDIT CARD for Capital One with no annual fee (All used to build credit). Please see below! I have been waiting for my whole process to be done to write this review, but it is finally worth the wait. Everyone at this office saved my life! Best bankrupt attorneys ever and they made the process so smooth. I first met with Xenophon Peters and he didn't BS on any info. Yes, there is a flat fee, but you get what you pay for! If you can't afford to pay the fee, they offer monthly payments!! But if your bankruptcy is time sensitive and your chapter 7 might turn into a chapter 13 due to your income, I would figure out a way to get it paid ASAP. After you pay the fee, there's paperwork to fill out and then you sit with an attorney and everything gets filed. (Make sure to have a list of all your debtors and how much you owe...it makes filing 10x easier.) Then you get your court date and an attorney will be there with you every step of the way. Jennifer was super helpful and despite her busy schedule, she always got back to me with answering any questions I had. Court was a breeze and it doesn't take that long. After your court date and all goes well, you get your discharge letter in about 2-3 months with credit card and medical debt completely gone! The whole process with this law firm was as simple as can be. Everyone is SUPER nice and helpful (even the front desk lady). I had a good feeling going in to trust them and now I'm glad I did. After my discharge, they give you a very detailed packet on how to rebuild your credit. I'm currently in the process of doing this now and I already got approved for a credit card! (Surprising as my discharge was this month) but these guys know what they're doing so I'm trusting them when they give me a detailed list of which credit cards to apply for, how long to wait till applying for the next one, what to watch for, etc. I am forever thankful for these guys!! Do yourself a favor and get out of debt if you're in a hole you can't dig out of. Bankruptcy is not as bad as society makes it out to be. YES, you can get approved for credit cards immediately right after to build credit and YES, you can get approved for car loan immediately. They say you'll have to wait 2 years before being able to buy a house, but all worth the wait. It's so easy to build back up your credit within 6 mo-1 year after bankruptcy. I will update with how my credit is doing after a year or so, but I wanted to get this review out to encourage others to use Peters and Associates because ever since the discharge, a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I couldn't of have done it without them! read more

Debt relief / Bankruptcy Consultation Post-divorce I was left with a lot of debt. I heavily considered trying to track all of my creditors and settle them myself. However, it was extremely difficult but also I was warned that there was a lot of fraud that can happen. I wanted to reduce my stress but also protect myself. Sorry this is so long in coming, I said I would update once my loan mod was complete. I used Panda for my BK then rehired them to do a loan modification, myself trying on my own years ago know the games loan servicers play they always decline the first application, and run you around and lose paperwork etc, so this time I decided to let Xenophon, handle things, he met with me and we went over all of my options and we decided to try loan mod first, and of course the mortgage servicer denied it, but that did not stop Anna, she was my loan mod assistant that works at Panda she escalated it to a supv and the servicer reopened the file, I got all my info together and Tony Da Man! worked my case and got my loan modified at a great rate and also got my principal reduction incentives in the amount of 10k. So some time in the not to distant future I will actually have equity in my home. This law firm works their buns off to help each and every client. They have high integrity, they are honest and shoot straight from the hip, giving you real options if you have them or telling you that you dont if you dont. They will not take payment for something that you dont need, period. At Panda they treat you like family and it is so refreshing to meet with a principal partner when you go there not just a legal aid. They follow up and follow through and they got my loan modification approved and completed. So give them a call today the HAMP program ends, end of 2016 so get started now! Shout out to the most amazing attorney ever!!! If you have a judgement or lein, we HIGHLY recommend Wes Villanueva with PANDA. I can't begin to explain the amount of stress my husband and I have been in the last 3 months having a garnishment hit for an outstanding judgment that was renewed. The original judgment was never served to him properly due to living out of state and we didn't find out about it until 5 years later when we tried to buy a home and it showed up in a title search. Heartbreaking! Having suffered a debilitating back injury in a car accident in 2008 resulting in three back surgeries inhibiting his ability to work, he had no choice then to surrender a truck back to the dealership. This is an update to the prior review on them. Mr. Peters called and made everything clear and called Ditech, formerly Green Tree Servicing. Apparently, Ditech is the one that is lying here. Ditech never send any kind of statement or notice that the account was behind for attorney fees, or escrow fees, or legal fees. We spoke to Ditech directly and they said we were behind, but we were not because we did everything according to the home modification paper said to do. They never sent us any kind statement, like they said they would. They never send us any kind of notice nor statement to either us or the attorney office. Everything is a lie with Green tree Servicing. Hopefully we will receive some kind of statement before the beginning of next month. We will be sending a copy of the statement to our lawyer as requested about the escrow fees or legal fees they said we were behind on. Mr. Peters called them and Ditech said we were current with our mortgage, yeah we are because we just made a payment to them for the so called legal fees or escrow fees. No one at Ditech will admit to the fact that they charged us for the legal fees or escrow fees, and that is why we want to see our statement. We called them about three weeks ago and they said they were going to send us a explanation of the escrow fees or legal fees, but yet we still not got it yet. What is up with them? read more

I really didn't know what to expect from a law firm I first learned about via a call-in Las Vegas radio show, but after spending over 2+ years unsuccessfully trying to solely negotiate a loan modification and eventual short sale on my own I was desperate. I hired Peters and Associates within days of an awful collision I had in August 2016. At first getting a hold of my case manager Greg was extremely difficult. He failed to reach out and never returned emails or phone calls. He would only contact me after I showed up or complained to his attorney/boss.
