Grape plums were something new to me, and I became addicted to them rather quickly. They taste just as their name depicts, a hybrid between a black grape and a red plum. The skin is thick and tart, just like a plum, while the inside resembles a black grape in taste while the texture is a bit chewy like the grapes used to make wine. I ate these almost every day while I was in town!

The space was large with lots of choices, bright lighting and clear signs with pricing. The produce looked fresh and was super plentiful. The prices were also great. We got about a weeks worth of groceries, including frozen dumplings, fresh veggies, apples, eggs, chicken, oil, spices, tea and noodles for under $50. All were pretty solid! The Pringles remind me of something other than mashed potatoes but I can't put my finger on it. The Oreos are all different flavors and are slightly thinner than the Oreos sold here in the US. The flavor I tried was White Peach and Crystal Grape. Interesting combination to mix with chocolate but it was actually tasty. The matcha chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate. The matcha flavor is very strong and it tastes like you're biting into a block of matcha but with the consistency of chocolate. I wasn't helped by anyone besides the cashier so I can't speak too much on the staff but overall I was able to navigate the store without any questions. The store is a little tight especially when you're sharing the aisles with other people. My understanding is that the S.mart directly next door is owned by the same family and is a store specializing in skincare. They share the same name but sell different items.
