I wish I could give Beiler's Donuts an 11/10 because it was just that good! I came here after hearing great things about it from my coworker, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The line was pretty long since we came on a Saturday morning, but it moved surprisingly fast. They had a huge selection of donuts, along with other baked goods and cakes. It was hard to choose because everything looked so good, but we ended up getting the apple fritter, maple bacon, and Biscoff donut. The maple bacon was definitely our favorite. The donut itself had this amazing sweet maple smell, almost like straight maple syrup. The bacon on top was a nice touch, and the whipped maple creme filling was delicious. It was definitely a sweet donut, but it hit the spot. The Biscoff donut came in a close second. It had the perfect filling-to-bread ratio, and as someone who loves anything Biscoff, this was super satisfying. Both of these donuts were incredibly soft and had the perfect texture. The apple fritter ranked third for us, but it was still really good. It wasn't as sweet as the other two, which was actually nice and helped balance everything out. I do wish it had been a little crispier and had more pieces of apple throughout, but I still enjoyed it. I'd absolutely come back to try more of their donuts, and I definitely want to check out some of their other bakery items too! read more

I love me some delicious donuts. I ordered a half dozen donuts for $10.75. What a great idea this was. I have no idea what all I ordered, but I got 3 classic ones that you can get mostly anywhere, and then I got 3 wild ones at the choice of the worker there helping me out. I have to say, I really just prefer classic chocolate icing, or caramel icing regular donuts. The crazy ones with all the toppings and fillings are just weird to me. Krispy Kreme remains as always the GOAT of all donut shops, but I do like trying new spots. Certainly worth stopping by if you're craving a donut. read more

This bakery sure does get a lot of foot traffic. Located towards the front in a corner, you can find a line wrapped around a few other booths. The line does move pretty quick. I recommend looking at a menu or doing research ahead of time so you have an idea on what you would like to get. I opted for a few items to include some rolls. Everything looked delicious. Now those donuts.... don't skip on them. The can sell out so get there quick. They had many different offerings, toppings and filling. They had many items from cakes, pies, breads, donuts and more. There is a huge selection, from staples like Boston Cream and Jelly etc. to fun and innovative flavors like Salted Caramel and Maple Bacon. We grabbed a half dozen and ate them over a period of three days. They are super light and crisp fried cakes and tasted so very fresh. There was a bit of line to wait, but the whole place was rockin' on the Saturday that we had visited. The staff was nice, and patient while we asked a couple questions and made our selection. A classic spot in Reading Terminal Market, this is an Amish bakery that is known for their donuts. I got the bacon maple donut and wow, this is not just an ordinary donut. This is a delicious, soft, cream filled donut shaped like a regular donut, so it was quite a nice surprise when I took my first bite. It was so sweet but also so addicting that I had to really stop myself from eating it so I could enjoy it in another sitting (in hindsight, I should have ordered 2 donuts). Maple Bacon: Sounds intimidating, but it's the staff's top recommendation. The crunchy exterior and tender interior that occurs when donuts are deep fried properly with minimal quality ingredients. These were a bit sad; flat on height and flavor. 5/10 Raised: These had the texture of Dunkin' Missing the lift- flat as if filled too soon after frying. And I believe they were rolled too thin. I wanted to love them, especially since I believe that they are hand cut. I'm so sorry Philadelphia. The price was affordable at $29.75/ dozen but I would rather pay a bit more for quality fillings. Ordered the shoofly pie, peach and blueberry pie, coconut custard pie, and chocolate mousse pie. Pickup was easy since I placed the order ahead of time. I just went past the donut line and gave my name to get my order. The shoofly pie is really interesting because I've never had a molasses pie before but it's pretty good. It's really sweet so one slice is enough but the crumbles on top help a bit. I could really taste the molasses so for my first time, I really enjoyed it! The peach and blueberry pie is tangy and fruity. I taste the blueberries moreso than the peach but with the crusty and outer pie shell, the fruity flavors get rounded off by the chewy pie. It's a really good fruit pie and I can't wait to taste the others! The coconut custard pie was by far my favorite. Coconut shavings on top of a creamy coconut custard. What's not to love? I'd 100% get this again. The chocolate mousse was good but we thawed it too long so it didn't hold up too well. If you like chocolate, this one is definitely for you. Quality "fancy" donuts at a reasonable price. We got a half dozen variety (~$9) of the following: apple fritter, oreo crème (FIRE), glazed cake (??), regular glazed, apple, and powdered jelly. If you have a sweet tooth, you will LOVE the oreo creme (I did). The fritter was delicious as well (never met a fritter I didn't like), as were the remaining donuts.
