They used to have good therapist who know exactly what reflexology is…read more I had foot reflexology at this place both locations Beaverton and Lake Oswego: Mia, Edgar, and one Caucasian male therapist who I can't remember his name. They were all excellent. Mia has a technique where she knows where all the pressure points are on my feet and she uses tool (wood shaped triangle, don't know what to call it). Several times I have been here none of the therapist know what they are doing, mostly they just give me foot massage, rubbing my foot with oil and call it a day. Foot reflexology is not foot massage. If I wanted a regular foot massage I could just go to nails salon and get 30-60 minutes foot massage/rub. So I called a few days before my appointment asking if anyone actually knows how to give foot reflexology treatment I was specifically asked for Mia and yes I knew, Edgar is no longer there so that's a bummer. They had me today with Mark, and I am very pleased that Mark is actually knowledgable and know how to do foot reflexology. I even asked him a few questions: eyes area, neck, and lungs. And he answered my questions with putting more pressure on my feet to those areas I mentioned to him. Even tho Mark doesn't speak English too well but he understood and even tho he is not as knowledgeable as Mia, he understood what I was asking for. I hope they will hire more therapists like Mia and Mark. It is hard to find a place in Oregon that actually provide real foot reflexology.

Reason #1 = As a man, I have hair on my arms and legs. Kind of a normal thing, something I thought they were used to dealing with. Nope! In a likely attempt to save money, the woman rubbing my arms and legs used the tiniest amount of oil possible, and ended up dry rubbing my arms and legs and pulling out a bunch of hair in the process. It hurt!! So I got brave and decided to interrupt the ambiance to explain what was happening and ask for more oil or lotion. She nodded like she understood, and then... nothing. No more lubricant... just painful, vigorous dry rubs. Reason #2 = She started rubbing my feet next and kept scraping my foot with her nails. More pain, yay! I spoke up again, more bluntly this time, and said, hey you're hurting me with your nail I think. More agreeable nods, followed by no change, just more pain. Weak hands giving an amateur, dry, painful massage, for a tidy sum of over $100.. RIPOFF

Literally googled Chinese medicine close to me. If you are looking for all the frills of a modern medical office this isn't your place. But if you look beyond the simple space and trust his practice I find him to be extraordinary. Dr Mao is incredibly intuitive, asks all the right questions and most important to me, he spends all the time that is needed to test and answer any questions I might have. He is so positive he can help and he has helped me so much. I've been using him for about 2 months now and 90% of the time my lungs almost feel normal. He's the real deal. I would recommend him to anyone who is open and willing to give this method a try. Good luck to anyone seeking help on their health you will be in good hands.

I like how they take my insurance and the after cost copay is so much affordable. If you have medical insurance that covers massage therapy , give them a call and they can check to make sure. I love how you can easily book an appointment online. You can also choose a provider you would like and see their availability online as well. They also have weekends availability as well. Staff are really great. Water and snacks always available all year long. I did have prenatal massage here before and really like it . The therapists also care and ask how the pressure and how you feel afterwards. Highly recommend this clinic.

I'm not sure if it's technical issues they are experiencing or lack of management being unaware of the issue. I used the online booking services they provide on their website to cancel my appointment due to an emergency. I also called and left a voicemail with my reason for calling and contact information. I then received a voicemail 2 hours after my original scheduled massage appointment from the manager claiming they did not receive any voicemail or message on the scheduling portal accessible to clients. She told me they are going to charge me a fee. I feel quite offended by the lack of consideration from management understanding client emergencies and poorly managed scheduling.

Since we were new clients, the massage was supposed to be $10 off. That means the total should have been $169 plus a 20% tip ($33.80), which equals $202.80. Instead, they charged my card $214.00. The manager, Wendy, knew my husband was a new client because (1) he had never been there before, and (2) I had called ahead to confirm the new client discount and asked about the $10 off. Despite that, she charged the full amount plus the tip and never applied the discount. Wendy only refunded me after I posted this review--and even then, she called and texted my husband asking that I remove it multiple times, continuing to harass us even after I told her I would take the review down. I do believe this was stealing. Wendy is the manager and should know how to correctly process a new client discount. Instead, she knowingly charged my card more than authorized, including a 20% fee I never signed paperwork for or agreed to. I wasn't even present at the time, so the only authorization she had from me was for the $169 new client rate. Being pressured for two days straight to delete a review after money was wrongly taken from my account is unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable.
