    I have such mix feelings about All Smiles…read more First of all, I love the dentist. Dr. Furman is awesome... makes me feel comfortable and seems well trained as a dentist. I always try to support women owned business, and I looked pretty hard to find a dentist when I moved. Dr. Furman is kinda the only reason why anyone should consider coming to this practice. The front desk ladies greet you when you walk in, but it always feels forced. They are quite catty - have been overheard being judgy about patients both in English and in Russian and they don't seem to care who hears it. I've seen them roll their eyes and take on quite dismissive tones when a patient ask questions, which makes me very careful about how (or whether) I approach them. The first hygienist was super abrasive both in words and in her use of force. The second hygienist felt like she barely did anything in what should have been a deep cleaning. It was just unpleasant enough that I didn't immediately leave the practice, but after a few visits I decided that I rather drive 45 minutes back to my old hygienist at Complete Dentistry. I probably would not recommend, but if you're from an eastern block country, they would probably be quite lovely to you.

    Office experience: I…read morehave been a long-time patient of Dr. Berry and have always had positive experiences with him and all the dental hygienists who work in his office. They have consistently been professional, friendly, and respectful, and I have never had any issues -- until recently. Last July, I received a call from a staff member named Jamie (I'm unsure of the spelling) while I was on my way to an appointment. She spoke to me in a loud and condescending tone, accusing me of being late multiple times. I was surprised by this, as it seemed unusual for a dental office to keep such a record, but I chose not to let her rudeness affect me and went ahead to my appointment and booked my next appointment. Today, I had an appointment scheduled for 4:00 p.m. I live about 11 minutes away and left my home at 3:45 p.m. While driving on Bothell-Everett Highway in heavy rain, traffic slowed significantly. As I reached the light to turn into the office complex,around 4:06 p.m. I received another call from Jamie. She again spoke in a harsh and disrespectful tone, informing me that my appointment was canceled because I had supposedly been late to nine previous appointments. I explained that I was just on the traffic light turning into the building, but she continued to speak to me in a very dismissive and rude manner, and cancelled my appointment. As a paying patient, I found her behavior completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I felt disrespected and spoken to in a way no patient should experience. It is especially disappointing because I have always appreciated Dr. Berry's care and the professionalism of his staff. Unfortunately, my interactions with Jamie have been the complete opposite, and I can't help but feel that I was treated differently, possibly because I am African and speak with an accent. I am writing to share my experience in the hope that this matter is addressed appropriately. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of circumstances. No one should be spoken to in such a demeaning manner

When I had called to inquire about services and such they were friendly, but hey they're always friendly on the phone right? So when I had my appointment and arrived I soon learned I was wrong. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The office was very modern and by that I didn't mean the decor. Yes the decor was nice however I meant technology wise. Everything seemed to flow nicely from appointment bookings to getting x-rays, where it looked liked all my records were stored nicely. Ok, so if we're being honest and although everything was outstanding; my only gripe about this place is that sometimes its hard getting the appointment slot I want as they seem to be high in demand! Updated: For those of you who are worried about heavy handedness or getting numbed I can attest that this was my best experience in that regard. I still cringe when I get fillings because of the prick of the needle but when I came here it wasn't bad compared to my past experiences. When I've had cleanings they were thorough without being heavy handed.

    I've been a patient here for the last few years, until today. I used to live in the area and after…read moreI moved to Renton, I decided to stay with this dentist because I liked the care. Today I realized it's not worth the commute and even if I still lived close by, I'd change dentists. I left my home with over an hour for driving. There was an accident on the way which completely change my calculations on how long it would take to get there. I sent a text and communicated. That was responded to by the receptionist saying that I wasn't there soon that my hygienist would only be able to "take records". Once I arrived I immediately asked if I was still able to get my teeth cleaned which was why I was there to begin with. The receptionist then said, "I don't know, but the sooner we get you back there the sooner we can get to that." Her tone was as if I was inconveniencing her by even asking. I didn't want to sit for a cleaning and have to pay for that if I wasn't going to get my teeth cleaned, that's why I asked. So I decided to cancel and walk out. She then asked if I wanted to reschedule, as if her tone, the experience with traffic, and the lack of general courtesy and understanding was a good time for me to schedule ANOTHER such experience. NO THANK YOU! The last time I had a clearing done the hygienist was new and barely cleaned anything. I left feeling like I could've done a better job myself. Couple that with the experience this morning...and I can't recommend this place at all anymore. A bit more courtesy and understanding would go a long way...it has in the past. It's why I stayed loyal to this place. Not anymore and it's pretty sad that you'll yank 50 bucks from someone who was trying his best to get to you. The rudeness and "hurry up" tone was very unprofessional and not an office I ever want to do business with again. Update: because this app doesn't allow me to respond to the owners response, here is my response to the doctors response... It appears as if you copied and pasted your already drafted response. Applying a late/cancellation policy is understandable...but it doesn't go hand-in-hand with saying that you strive to make accommodations when your receptionist was rude upon my arrival. You didn't address that and that's why your response looks like it was copied and pasted. There is nothing in the experience I described that would encourage me or anyone to do business with you. Deeply disappointed in this practice, and now even more so with the doctor's response.
