My experience with Randie at check-in was personal, extremely thorough, and left me with no questions. During my very extensive x-rays with Lacy I was distracted, given very helpful tips, and treated with compassion. She had so many tips/tricks to help me not gag! Dr. Moody was kind, gentle, and didn't give me any anxiety as many other dentists have. I didn't feel shame or judgement from him either. My cleaning by Julie was thorough and I was so impressed at how gentle she was. I normally leave a dentist office with an extremely raw and sore mouth having been poked multiple times. She also gave me the most thorough tips I've been given for oral care. I really appreciated the time and effort everyone took in helping explain my aftercare. I felt seen and valued throughout my entire visit. I have zero anxiety over going into my scheduled procedures and doing my regular cleanings. A couple of years ago we were forced to move to a different dentist for insurance reasons. During that time, we tried three different dentists and weren't happy with any of them. That's when Creekside unexpectedly reached out just to see how we were doing. When I explained the situation, they went off and found out they were now in network for my current plan. We immediately switched back and discovered the service had even gotten better while we were gone! If you're looking for a great local dentist, look no further. You don't send forms to be completed before the visit and then accost the patient for completing them. And you don't lie within 10 minutes of meeting someone and expect them to stay. I showed up on time. I filled out all the forms and talked with the tech/doctor. Margie comes over and says, "You're early." "Uh, I'm here on time." "Well, we didn't expect you to have the forms filled out. So right now, you need to stay here and relax." She pulled my tech away, who then sheepishly came back. "Did Margie say I was early?" "Well, you're not early, but..." "Is there a patient ahead of me?" "Um. Yes." "So you overbooked?" "Well, your paperwork wasn't supposed to be done, and..." She said it would be 20 minutes, but the patient ahead of me hadn't even been seated. I left. If your practice is comfortable lying within 10 minutes of meeting me while shifting the blame for overbooking, there is no way you're touching me. The office always schedules the new patient to check in upfront 1/2 hour with front office staff . Your check in time was 11 am at 11:30 one of the assistants should bring you back in the clinical area to start Your exam, x rays, photo's. checking teeth and gum assessment. Yes ,you were in on time for your check in at 11 am and you were very efficient with your paperwork done. We brought you back before 11:30 which is why I mention that we would be a little longer before we could Start the exam process. I'm sorry if this wasn't conveyed to you on the initial phone conversation about check in Time and when we actually bring you back. We would never over book a patients appointment . We really want to be able to give you and all our patients equality time and earn the patients trust. If you felt that you were "accosted" regarding filling out your paperwork I would like to know what happen so I can address the employee. We always want to treat people with respect . As too the medical trauma that you were mentioning it is of great importants that we take into consideration with the patients medical history before we ever proceed with any treatment on a patient. Lastly I would like to address the "lying within 10 minutes of minutes of meeting me" comment. I believe there was a miscommunication. WE are here to help patients to improve there equality of health which we take very serious. We are and have always been very transparent with all patients and will continue to be so. I am very sorry that your appointment was not the best experience and that you were not able to stay for your appointment today. Nice clean modern office, and honestly I prefer a female dentist which is why I started coming here years ago, but notice their web site specifically states: ------------------------------------------------------ Why Patients Choose Us Extractions Done by the Dentist You Already See The same dentists who do your check-ups do your extractions. No referral across town, no repeating your history to someone new, and no waiting weeks for an appointment with a practice that has never looked in your mouth. ------------------------------------------------------ So I walk in to the office with a broken pre-molar [NOT an impacted wisdom tooth or other complex operation requiring oral surgery] and ask for an appointment to have it extracted. Not a check-up, not a cleaning, I specifically ask to have my tooth pulled. After some conversation among staff in back, my luck, someone canceled and I can be seen right away. I get whisked back and x-rayed BEFORE THE DOCTOR EVEN TALKS TO ME. Doctor comes in, looks at the x-ray and says "Here's a referral to an oral surgeon". I ask, Why not just pull my tooth? and I'm told "Hey you want your tooth pulled by someone who does this every day, not me who hasn't done one in six years'. Wait, what ? Oh, and along with your referral, here's a bill for x-rays and an office visit, for work we don't do. Well, that sounds like a load of crap, and a way to bill hundreds of dollars for services not REALLY rendered, and of course I still have to pay my co-pay either way.
