Dropped the f bomb in front of my 74 year old mother 4 times while getting up in my face taunting me to fight him. Telling me that his problems and his pain are far more severe than mine ever could be. Won't let you speak, talks over you and berates you to the point of tears. His staff was completely mortified and couldn't even look me in the eyes. Made a complete spectacle out of me and then asked me if I used street drugs for pain because he could get me pills.... he "wasn't scared to get me pain pills". Told me thay every doctor ive seen is stupid and he was so so so smart. I was in the office for a total of 15 mins if that and was in tears trying to control my anger within 5 minutes of stepping foot into that place. The man is a joke and apparently needs his ego stroked several times a day or he's Goin to go postal. I was in utter shock when I left there and have been in contact with my attorney. The Tennessee Medical Board has also received a lengthy letter in regards to this bafoon that calls himself a doctor. He needs a refresher course in ethics, empathy and compassion. He also may need to go back to kindergarten and relearn his manners. I hope his wife and kids don't get treated like I did. This man needs to be fired. Maybe go and retire early... something... because he has no right treating patients. I wonder if I was a 6'4" man sitting there.... would he have talked to me the same way? I'm thinking no. I think that he has some serious deep seeded issues that he needs to talk to a counselor about and not bring them into his place of business and take it out on somebody else. It would be different if I went in there provoking him or even I had an attitude towards him.None of the things that he did to me were justified.I couldn't even get a word in edgewise. If he would have shut his mouth long enough to listen to anything that I had to say,he would have known that I had other medical issues that were probably underlying causes for why I was there. If he would have shut up and stopped giving himself a pity party and patting himself on the back for the whole 15 minutes I was in there, boasting about how wonderful he is and how smart he is, he might have actually been able to help me. And what's sad is that he was my last hope. I was so excited to see him.What a shame.. what a waste, please, for the love of everybody in Knoxville and the surrounding areas... please don't practice any more because honestly? I had day surgery 3 days later and for the first time in 4 months was pain free immediately. I had never had such efficient service from any healthcare entity in the past.
