I had been going to the nail salon in Countryside Mall. I decided to try Forum Nails and Spa. I definitely wasn't disappointed. It's smaller, the chairs are newer and nicer. I got one of the basic pedicures. It was anything, but basic. This pedicure included a hot stone massage AND a wax treatment. The tech spent a good amount of time on the massage. I highly recommend this salon. I wish I had asked the techs name so I could recommend her. Also, most places charge $20 for gel pedicure, but Forum charged $15. read more

A new nail spa, they've only been open since just after Thanksgiving. Inside, they're very chic. Very relaxing, and comfortable. Warm tones of orange, brown and stone, it looks upscale and high end. My reason for going there was to get my nails done for the Yelpies. Seems that Gel likes to peel off of me within a few days. They asked if I wanted a powder manicure, I had no idea what they meant.. So, sure why not. I'd try it. Well, I was in for an experience. First step was to remove the old polish, then to file and dremel down my nails, then came the application process. I'll save the details, but it really is a powder. A glitter really well.. several times this is done. It's very interesting and involved. In the end, it seems to be a more involved process than a normal paint manicure, but, my nails have never been shinier and it's been a few days, and there's no hint of chipping. The technicians were all very polite and very friendly. I'll likely come back and see what they do for a pedicure with my itty bitty toe nails. :) read more

I wish I could give ZERO! First off they charge 15$ extra dollars for Gel. Not sure if that's average pricing or not but secondly the nail technician literally CUT OPEN my skin while filing. She tried to be gentle moving forward but the blood was already dripping . Not only onto her nail but the tools she was using as well. And nothing was cleaned afterwards . Then when I go to pay and I'm clearly disappointed with being left with an open wound they make me pay full price. FULL PRICE. They did apologize for the wound but they offered no other compensation. Just tried this place out for a pedicure with gel polish. I called before going and they said I could come in. I was helped promptly when arriving. Water wasn't hot enough for me so I told her and she got it warm. They give you a menu book to choose your pedicure and of course a nail swatch for color. I picked the Thai pedicure. Foot was scrubbed well and my foot was well moistured. The pressure wasn't what I excepted ...less than I'm use to. But overall it was all good and I was out in less than an hour. It was good but I spent $63 with a $10 tip. I thought the pedi was $38 that I chose but I'm sure there is a gel polish charge...it's been a while since I got one done since I haven't gotten one through the pandemic. But it's closer than where I usually go ...will consider returning after I see how long this polish last. Place is nice and clean. read more

Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe my experience here. I came in for a Dip Powder manicure. I asked for one coat of the color as I like the look of the color when it's a bit more sheer. The tech continued to proceed with applying three coats of the powder. She realized I'm not happy and asked me to come back tomorrow for her to fix it. But first her and four of her other techs continued to speak about me abruptly in their language. I came in the next day. I sat down. A very rude tech asked me to sit down at a station and she proceeded to take off the dip powder by using the grinding tool. She was so rough with my hands she made my fingers bleed. After the second finger I said. Excuse me. You're being very rough. She put the tools down and said someone else will help you?!?!?!?! Now I'm here over an hour. I used to come here regularly to get dip or gel nails done. I stopped because the quality of the work being done was subpar and the tech would often make my cuticles bleed. I also did not like that they were pushy with the upgrades. Every time they would ask 2 or 3 times if I wanted to also get a pedicure or eyebrow wax. Felt like being at a used car sales lot I stopped going for a few years but decided to go back. I gave one more chance today because it's one of the few salons open on Sunday. When we got there I made it very clear I wanted a basic pedi for me and a polish change on toes for my 5 year old. Again we were pressured to upgrade which I declined. We sat down to begin our pedicures. The lady doing mine was in such a rush, it seemed as though the building must be on fire and she was trying to hurry out the door. My whole pedicure took 15 minutes tops. It wasn't even busy, what's the rush for?? Secondly, the person doing my daughters nails took the liberty to upgrade her to a full pedicure AND manicure with designs without even consulting me about it. The price ended up being $65 BEFORE tip. About double what it should have been if I got only what I asked for. Absurd. Will not be back. Going to stick with EV nails in the future. They are right down the road from here and the service they provide is exponentially better. read more

Since Lynn left, this place has gone down hill fast. The bathroom is now filthy. (It got progressively worse each time I went.) There was literally an a/c vent cover in the plant the last time I went in there which was June 23, 2018. Lynn used to have everything so nice and shiny and clean. She would be mortified if she saw the bathroom now. (I am mortified for her.) Also, the last time I was there, a new girl (everybody is new except for Hannah, and the nice young man whose name I cannot remember), did my pedicure in like 10 minutes. I'm not kidding. I decided to come here for a gel manicure while my spouse was at the dentist down the road. I had dip previously done at a salon near my home in Wesley Chapel but it had been about 6 weeks and my nails were very grown out and needed some TLC. When I walked in the place was dead. I was "greeted" by a middle aged woman with a pony tail. I picked up the service menu to see pricing and the entire time I reviewed the menu she stared at my feet, once I told her I would like the dip removed and to do gel polish she said okay (no smile) and asked if I wanted a pedicure too. I told her that I didn't have time so just the manicure. She seemed annoyed. When we sat down to begin she wrapped my nails, there were a ton of color swatches hanging on her station which was great so I asked if those were gel colors and she said she would give them to me later, again no smile. She finished wrapping and said okay 10 minutes. She then picked up those same colors that were hanging on her station and a couple others, handed them to me and walked away. She came over a few minutes later and said 5 more minutes, did you pick a color? I said not yet, there were so many to choose from that I liked. She just stood there like I was inconveniencing her (even though she said 5 more minutes.) So I chose my color. At this point I just wanted to get my nails done and leave. I didn't feel welcomed or like my business mattered. When she started to remove my polish she kept making disappointed faces and noises as she got to each nail so I asked her if something was wrong. She didn't look at me and said a very unsure no. She then kept doing it! I asked her again, is something wrong with my nails? She finally looked at me, sort of laughed and said no. Then of course she immediately started speaking to the other employee who was sitting behind her. Once it was all said and done, the most uncomfortable manicure I've ever had, I paid and still tipped 20% although she shuttered when I told her I didn't have cash but asked where an ATM was. I went out to my car and saw in the sunlight what a $35 gel manicure with this lady looked like. Terrible. The gel polish was on my skin and my nails were uneven. I didn't have the patience to go back in and tell her I was unhappy so here I am letting the world know my experience. read more

This nail salon is one of the best I've ever been to! The first time I visited it was closing time. Lynn and Jen stayed open and did a mani/pedi. The salon is clean --- perfectly clean. The staff is friendly and the longest I've probably waited is 5 minutes. I have had great experiences with the staff: when I've been in a rush, they've done my Mani and pedi at the same time! Highly recommend this salon as the staff is the best, clean, comfy chairs and tons of color options! If you haven't tried Forum, I would recommend it!! I also recommend Crazy Tony!!! I really hate to go on here and give a bad review. I haven't done it before but this place is so unorganized. Beautiful salon and the people are nice but they sat me and my husband down and left us for about 30 minutes before starting our pedicures. Mind you, I had my nails done first (AND had an appointment). This seems to be the practice here. 2 ladies got up and left after sitting for 45 minutes soaking in the water waiting their turn. They put people in the pedicure chairs and go take a walk-in for nails first. Ridiculous. 3 hours for a rebase and a pedicure was a waste of my time. My niece is STILL in her 11:00 appointment just to have her nails dipped. The gal did a horrible job with a simple starfish design and then smudged it. So my niece is waiting to have it redone. Most expensive visit to get a mani pedi I've ever had. Also one of the worst experiences. I went in for a pedicure. As a dancer I have lots of bruises and blisters on my feet. The lady who did them did not care and the whole experience was painful. They didn't even remove the dead skin on my heels which is why I get pedicures in the first place. Also tried to get my set from another salon taken off instead of actually taking them off the cute then short and filed them flat and then pained over them. This cause not only the new gel polish to chip the very next day but continues to make my nails chip and break. Very ugly. And I'm very sad about this. I'm not mean enough to say anything so I ended up spending 115 dollars here for a pedicure and gel polish manicure. The husband does my nails and they are perfection. He marbled my nails last time with SNS. I even entered a drawing for a free pedicure in December and won. To start - I've never given a bad review on Yelp, but I had to let others know about this place. I used to LOVE this place, as I had been there a few times before. However, I went on Saturday morning to get acrylics (french tip) for my bridal portraits the next day and my wedding the next Sunday. Well, they cut my ring finger and made it bleed, but I let that go. I noticed that evening that some of the nails were already starting to lift up (i hadn't even showered or washed any dishes, so this wasn't from water). About 20 min before I had to leave for my bridal portraits my pinky nail popped off. So I went in and showed the owner and showed her all the other places that my nails were lifting up. I asked for a refund because I didn't have time to get them fixed and, quite frankly, didn't want to risk them messing my nails up for my wedding again. The owner told me that they don't do refunds (but there's no sign posted) and kept telling my nails looked fine. I left without a refund and me and the 12 women who were planning to go there for pedicures on Friday will not be going. As of today - 48 hours after getting my nails done - all but one of my nails has popped off. This is completely unacceptable and a complete waste of time and money. So now I have to go to another salon and have them do my nails and pay for it a second time. If you're getting your nails done for an important occasion, I'd seriously reconsider using this salon. Had been coming here for 3 -4 months and was pretty pleased with the service until today. My mom and I were getting our pedicures done and they were getting ready to start mom's manicure when the manager asks my mom if she could wait for her mani so that she could pull the young lady to do someone else's pedi because they had an appt. . That was NOT our problem if they were short staffed. We were already there and in the middle of our services. They didn't even offer us water today either. If I were a new customer I would have been upset, but being an existing customer, I was outraged. Truly a disappointment. A friend and I went to get pedicures. She went in first and got her nails done and I was next door getting some waxing done. I entered, told them I needed a pedicure but that I could wait so we could get one together. They were still finishing her nails. I looked through a book that had $38 or $48 pedicure options. They included a lot and were worth the price but I was just wanting a basic pedicure. No long massage, paraffin wax, oils, gels, or hot stone. My friend asked and they kept pushing the more expensive options. Saying "try this it's better". Finally they said fine and sat us down. The water was started and a technician started on my friend. We waited for a while but no one came to work on me. Two other people where doing other things in the salon. Moving towels, one kept walking back and forth and talking to a third technician that had just finished someone else's manicure. It felt very unprofessional and wrong how long they made us wait before starting. I couldn't believe how they stood around talking before they started on me. As soon as they finished my friend they started on me. They started a basic pedicure ame it took twice as long as my friends. It almost felt like it was on purpose. Have a little consistency. A 26 min. Pedi and a 53 min. Pedi? I have never had such a bad experience anywhere. Neither of us will be back here. Sad since it had great ambience. (Except for the employees) read more

The atmosphere was very nice, clean and everyone was pleasant except for my lady" louse".She pulled my seat forward so much it felt like I was in an airplane seat the entire time, very uncomfortable . The water was lukewarm though, I could have said something. Louse never spoke to me other than to provide commands. Her service was really poor. One leg she exfoliated for a couple minutes and the other leg less than a minute. The massage was like someone just laying their hand on top of your calf and foot rubbing it up and down, never underneath. The service was really poor. She also called another employee over to look at my nails and make a comment, then the other technician hit her, laughed and walked away. When I was ready to pay, the manager? Came over and asked how the service was. I said the nails looked good but, the that was it. She pressed the issue seeming concerned. I then told her the service was not good. She told me next time that it would be better with another employee. I left thinking but, why did she not do anything about this time? Then my nails smudged. The polish I have used a million times was applied to thickly. I spent 40 dollars plus a 15 percent tip for poor service all for nothing. I would never suggest going here. I have been having the sns (powder dip) mani for nearly 6 months and my natural nails were healthy and beautiful. I moved quite a distance from my regular place and was having difficulty finding somewhere that did this. After a total disaster with another nail salon - she ruined my natural nail and let me walk out a mess I found Forum. Hesitantly I went in and found Tammy. First of all the place is beautiful and so very clean and the staff very welcoming. Tammy was able to do some damage control to the mess that had been made and gave me a beautiful mani dip.
