I also asked about cancellation policy which he said he would get back to me. I didn't hear anything until I reached out last week (April 25) to ensure my Rental was good. He said I don't have a rental because I did not book online. Which was not available. Devin stated he has a 5th wheel. I can't pull a 5th wheel. He said sorry. And that was it. So I am warning others to not trust Austin RV rental.

Our first conversation with Mitch was straightforward, very professional, and there weren't any hidden fees! We tried several other rentals beforehand and after the hidden fees were about double the price they were posted for, they didn't have the best communication and sometimes even rude owners. Glad to say that wasn't the case with Trifecta. Mitch was super helpful. The delivery fee included setup and a walk through explaining all the ins and outs (every RV is different). The tanks were filled, it was clean, ready for us to enjoy our trip, and perfect for our needs. Will 100% rent from them again if/when in need of an RV. We decided to take a trip to Yellowstone from Phoenix and agreed that renting a RV would be the…read moreway to do it. I made the reservation with Bill back in September 2014 and he took a non refundable $850.00 deposit for our trip in May 2015. Bill was very personable and friendly. A week prior to the trip I called Bill and completed the rest of the paperwork and let him know when to expect us in Idaho Falls. We kept in contact during the trip up from Phoenix to Idaho Falls since he needed to be onsite when we arrived. He rents space from Budget Rentals to store his RV's and he let us park our personal vehicle on site for free! When we met Bill he was excited to see us and showed us to our rental. The rental was extremely clean inside and out. We spent approximately one hour going through the details of operating the RV and physically performing the operations so we knew exactly how everything worked. Since we had never used an RV prior, this was a great tutorial. We were having an excellent time until one evening the house battery went dead and at the same time the slide outs to the bedroom would not close in order to drive. Luckily, my parents were also in Yellowstone with a car because there was no phone service at our campground. Once I was able to contact Bill, he gave me several different directions, but nothing worked. I picked up a new house battery but it did not solve the issue of the slide outs. I spoke to the mechanics at one of the Yellowstone villages and they said they could come out and try to get the slides back in. Bill told me to do whatever it took to get back on the road and he would pay for all of the expenses. The mechanics got the slides back in and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, we missed our kayak trip due to the issues but we were able to reschedule for the next day and Bill paid for the extra night at our campground. He felt really bad regarding our experience and wanted to help. When we returned the RV, we filled it up with gas and propane, cleaned the inside, and washed the outside. I spoke to Bill and he was ready to come down and reimburse us for the battery, extra campground night, and mechanic services, but I told him we were already on our way back to Phoenix. The next day, I received an email that not only would he be crediting our credit card for the items listed in the previous paragraph, but crediting us for the extra mileage we added to the RV and "incidentals". I sincerely believe that Bill just wanted us to have a good time and did everything in his power to do so.

There was a sign saying to call if they weren't there. So we tried calling on three of our cell phones. No one answered. We waited for 15 minutes and finally decided to just find an empty spot and come back to the office in a bit (hoping someone would show up). Well as soon as we start to park, someone comes up on a golf cart and starts yelling at us. I don't mean politely asking us what we're doing, full on yelling. We explain that no one was at the office and the owner rudely says that there's a sign telling you to call. We explain that we did call several times and no one answered. She then checks her phone and gets kind of embarrassed, realizing she ignored our calls. She got nicer at this point and told us what spot we were in, but it was too late for me. Even if you didn't know what someone is doing, you could be polite about it. The RV park itself is fine but nothing special. The WiFi is awful, so don't expect to really be able to do anything on it. I would never recommend staying here because of the terrible management/customer service and bad check in process.

The owner, Maryann, is so accommodating and gracious. She escorted me to my site, made sure the hook ups were working and that I was lined up properly for my slide. She even delivered a UPS delivery to my RV! The owners are currently making a number of upgrades to the park and I look forward to seeing the changes when I come through the area again next year. I'll definitely be staying here again. Had excellent cell signals with both Verizon and AT&T. The park does offer complimentary Wifi that is good for checking email and Internet browsing, but as I enjoy streaming movies and music I used my own hot spot connections. Again, this is a great spot to stay a night or longer for an extended stay!

As a result my weight distribution hitch was completely off and I didn't have tools to rectify that. But the amazing staff and techs at Teton had me sorted in short order. I wish I was better with names but there is a "seasoned" shall we say, tech, and his "young apprentice" (no slouch in his own right) were absolutely fantastic. Now, I used to be a professional mechanic myself so I notice little details and these guys are top notch technicians I can tell you. All the staff were fantastic and if I'm ever back to Idaho Falls I owe them a box of donuts!

What I object to is the cost of having one of their RVs parked and set up. The cost should have been about $250, to be fair, and that should have included driving it to West Yellowstone, from Idaho Falls, a full set up of the RV (Making all connections and firing up the heater etc). Unfortunately the heater was not set up or started, and if my friends had not been there to watch over their set up crew, the set up person would have driven off without doing anything. This was at a charged cost of $425, which considering the one way drive from Idaho Falls, the few connections required, nothing more than "financial rape" which has left an overall sourness in the experience. We drove the rig back after completely disconnecting and cleaning it, and after re-filling the RV and propane. So to be clear the $425 charge was for one way and set up from Idaho Falls to 5 miles outside West Yellowstone, some 119 or so miles. So for those who intend to fly in and have these folks set you up, beware of what I consider to being taken advantage of and be sure to insist that EVERYTHING IS OPERATIONAL BEFORE THEY LEAVE. If it were not for this fact I would have given a higher rating.

The unit looked brand new, was clean and very comfortable. It fit our needs perfectly. This was our third time to rent an RV and was definitely our best experience.
