We purchased a Cirrus 820 truck camper from Teton and couldn't be happier! They made the process quick and painless. Thanks, guys!

I purchased a new Winnebago from this dealership in March. As I write this review in late August,…read moreit remains on a service lot. It's been there for a better part of the summer. I've never been able to use it, in fact, I don't know when it will be returned. To make a very long story short, Smith RV lied about the age of the vehicle. As a result, it's in service with extensive weather damage. Work is currently being done by another Winnebago dealer in Boise. They've replaced everything from the automatic jack to the lower half of the slide-out. Smith RV is completely MIA. When I initially contacted Winnebago and found out about the age of the vehicle, I confronted the General Manager. Her immediate response was "it's not illegal." To underscore that point, she restated it several times. This was witnessed by a passenger in my vehicle. The call ended with a promise to follow-up, but I never heard from Smith RV again. From that point forward, the GM wouldn't accept or return my phone calls. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. The servicing dealer discovered two unsecured batteries in a metal storage bin with the propane tanks. The batteries were installed by Smith as part of an upgrade package. According to the tech, they could've easily tilted, sparked, and caused an explosion. The camper is designed for off-road use, so this is a strong possibility. For that reason, it's not even road worthy. At this point, I don't expect Smith RV to act with any level of integrity. Actions up to this point dictate otherwise. I'm writing this review as a warning to other consumers. It's unacceptable that Smith lied about the age of the Winnebago. It's unconscionable that they then refused to help in any way. It's egregious that they put my life at risk. Smith RV isn't just dishonest, they're reckless. "It's not illegal" is a pretty low bar for any business. When businesses set that standard, consumers get hurt - emotionally, financially, and physically. I'm fortunate the latter didn't happen, but it was a definite possibility.

We had a great experience buying the RV, and we felt that everyone was very kind, straight-forward and patient. In retrospect, though, I have two complaints. The first is their partnership with Good Sam's. Nothing good about it. Aaron, her sales person, convinced my mom to buy the extended warranty plan from Good Sam's, which seemed to make sense, as she was buying a used RV and we have no skills in fixing it ourselves. But when the heater stopped working in the middle of the night (and it was 8 degrees, by the way), Good Sam's claimed not to have her policy. Our experience with Camping World's customer service has been less than stellar (second complaint). It's very hard to get someone on the phone who can help with any issue. That said, Mom was able to get someone on the phone finally yesterday. Her name was Leslie, and she was very helpful, tracking down all the records that Good Sam's claimed not to have, including the date Good Sam's cashed the check for her payment on that warranty, since they also claimed to have never been paid. Bottom line: don't be convinced to do business with Good Sam's. Find another policy. It's too late for my mom, and I'm very disappointed that Camping World would recommend that anyone, let alone a retiree who is using her RV as a residence, do any business with Good Sam's.

On the day of the appointment everything went great. He found a trade in, received reasonable offer on his RV and reasonable sell price on a new one. Paperwork was signed, down payment taken, deal made. Next day, Camping World called and said they had to lower the offer SUBSTANTIALLY, even though a contract had been signed. They WOULD NOT honor their originally signed deal. Unethical professionalism not to mention illegal. Do not bother doing business here! It's a waste of time.

Beginning of 2018, we ordered a 1475S Lance travel trailer from crossroads rv. We looked at…read morenumerous manufacturer and trailer models and our research led us to believe Lance had the best quality in the market. We payed $38000.00 for the trailer which was fine because we didn't want the nightmares so may other have gone through but this is were our horror story starts. When picking our options for the trailer, we asked for a ladder to be installed. Later, Mike Helmandollar, our salesman told us "this unit doesn't come with one". So the order was placed and four months later we got our new trailer. We checked out the unit, Mike told us we got a tankless water heater with this trailer, hooked the unit up and brought it home. The day after we got the trailer home, it started falling apart while sitting on our rv slab. This is a list of warranty items we had to have fixed which we found over a two month period. Cargo box latch broke off. Entry trim on floor, screws stripped out. Entry header torn by pantry door rubbing against it. Vent covers missing or broken. Raw lumber used to hold front shell down, expose. Screw holding floor to frame, fell out. Screen door fell apart. Hot water heater, got hot, ran out very fast. Crack in front shell. Glue puddles smeared on floor. We had the trailer for two months. We took it back to crossroads for warranty work. They had it for THREE MONTHS. They call and say the trailer is ready to pickup. When we get there, we notice the trailer is dirty but we check it out as best we could and brought it home, Next morning I go out and wash the unit down and find paint cracks in the front shell and there's black streaks in the paint where they did the repair to the front shell. I call crossroads and had a fit. They said they'll sent touch up paint!!! I tell them "bull...." I'm not painting a trailer I payed $38000 for so they said to being it back again.... Again "bull...." its a 260 mile trip one way and money out of our pocket each time we go to Pocatello. I asked why didn't they wash off the dirt and check out the unit before calling us???? Jody said she would have the owner call us, one week later, no call. This story can go on for a very long time but here are the facts. 1. Their your best friends until you sign the papers 2. Remember the ladder, Mike did not disclose to us that the 1475 models have a "No Walk On Roof". 3. Mike lied to us concerning the "tankless water heater". This unit has a 2.5 holding tank. 4. All of Lance's repairs are given to the lowest bidder. Lance slapped this trailer together without any quality checking. I fought with them for months over this unit. Asked for a replacement trailer that wasn't broken but no they wanted to make "it right" but as I write this review that trailer is still broken. Don't buy a Lance, cheap trailers. If you buy thru crossroads rv, expect no customer service, they just want your money.
