Ugh, I want to like this place so much, but it consistently falls short. The food and beer are great. The problem is service and atmosphere. I would love to pop by here after work and have a round or two, maybe an appetizer, and be on my way. Unfortunately this usually takes at least two hours. The servers have no sense of urgency and are woefully uninformed as to what the bar has stocked, what beers are available, or what items on the menu the kitchen is out of. Trying to order a simple shot of liquor took several trips of back and forth, and once I got my $10 shot, it was a comically small amount compared to the giant shot glass it was served in. Our server seemed to disappear for long periods of time, and when she did swing by, it was a brief check in of "y'all okay?" while continuing to walk past. Given that we had waited so long between check-ins, our table of four had several requests each time, but it felt like we were just holding our server up from something more pressing. Also even though it's currently 100+ degrees outside, they still don't pull the shades down over the doors to the patio that no one is utilizing, which causes the main dining room to heat up to the point it's miserable. I got up to use the restroom and literally left a sweat puddle on the booth seat because it was so hot and uncomfortable inside. Unfortunately the slow paced service, uninformed staff, and uncomfortable atmosphere far outweigh the food and beer. This evening was my first time in nearly six months to hit up Flyway, and I was quickly reminded why we tend to go elsewhere in the neighborhood. First off, killer food and beer offerings. Being a native Arkie that grew up waterfowling, this place really does it for me. There's great game-style dishes like duck that take me right back home. The servers were timely but didn't bug me or my guest when we were hard at work in a meeting. The dining room is nice, spacious, and clean, though there are a lot of TVs, if you're into that. The food here was good. We had wings and nachos the buffalo wings were really tasty , and I'm a bit picky on my nachos my wife really loved them. They had a good pickled jalapeño, a generous amount of melted white cheese, and other good ingredients. We both enjoyed the cocktails my Long Island iced tea was very good. And my wife really enjoyed a quality margarita. Overall, the service was quick. They welcomed us with our two dogs. They brought our dogs water, which I thought was very kind. We sat outside since we had the girls with us. So I can't speak to the inside ambience. But the outside was very nice covered area. Overall, I'd come back again. read more

The service/servers both times were great by Jack & Maxwell. There were a couple of families with small children, so I would rate this place as family oriented. Loved this! First time here and we sat on the patio. The menu was varied enough that my whole party and I got something different and loved every item. That turkey sandwich was awesomeeee. And the RANCH-- if you're a ranch person, they've got perfect ranch to go w the hand cut potato chips. Truly not a single issue, just enjoyed our time with crispy diet cokes and great food. We used to really love this place when it started out, but the food quality seems to continue to decline each visit. The manager walked around with vigor and brings a bit of an overbearing energy to the chill vibe. What I will say is our server Garett was so kind and attentive, you can tell he really tries and succeeded in making the overall experience good. Glad to finally try out the Brewery restaurant that moved into the space previously occupied by Apple Blossom. Super glad to see a make your own flight option and all the beers were solid and true to style. Unlike others, I wasn't completely enamored with the duck tenders; they were mostly breading and perhaps a little over done. That won't be a repeat for me. Everything was absolutely fantastic!! It was beautiful patio weather and that's where we sat. All the drinks and food we tried were amazing! Appetizers: Soft pretzels (Shadow Hands), the pretzel had the nice, crust on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Shadow Hands one had Espresso Salt on it with a chocolate sauce. The salt had a slight espresso flavor that when dipped in the chocolate sauce was phenomenal (pair it with the Lord God Chocolate Imperial Stout). Flyaway Pickle Plate: If you love pickles...get. This. Plate. So many varieties of pickles and their homemade chips are so good. Entree: Chili Crisp Chicken. This was so, so good. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. Just get it. Overall, I want to try everything on this menu because it looks so delicious. Their brews are also on point! Ok, here goes... Beer is cold. Food mediocre at best. The only reason I continue to come here is for the soft pretzels and beer cheese. The absolute best beer cheese I've had anywhere. This is only my second time to eat here in the year it has been open. I got a $10 off coupon in the mail and thought why not. It was a beautiful day so I took my 10 yo daughter to get some happy hour snacks. We sat on the patio as it was a perfect Fayetteville spring day. Happy hour has beer and drink specials ,most importantly to me 1/2 off pints. I got the Early Bird IPA and found it quite drinkable with an ABV somewhere between 6 and 7 if I remember correctly. Kid got the Sprite (why does fountain Sprite taste so weird?). I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the girl had the kids burger. The food and drinks came out quickly and hot and cold respectively. My pork had bbq sauce and slaw on it which I like. It was lightly smoked and well seasoned with a rub type seasoning. It was a little sloppy but still tasty. DD's kid burger was a smash burger with fries and it kinda blew me away how good it was for a kid burger. The fries were great, not sure if they fry in duck fat or what but that's what I'm guessing. . Gotta give it up for this place. It's 2 minutes from my apartment uptown and a real happy hour bargain. So I was dubious about a loud brewery in Arkansas but my wife convinced me that this was worth a try. Friends and fellow yelpers she was right (of course). So yes it was loud but we were seated quickly. They have Duck tenders on the menu !!! Duck Tenders.. oh man were they delicious with a bit of spice. Had to slow the kids down from double fisting into their mouth so we can have some.. He kept telling us it was almost finished.
