I was taken aback by the ultra-religious thing at first, but was accepting it because what I saw was that they were doing a lot for charity in africa. Upon returning home I came to the slightly baffling realization that that was not what they're doing. I'm actually really uncomfortable with the reality, now that I see it. Let me be clear... i'm an Atheist and a Secular Humanist, but I am IN NO WAY an antitheist. I respect people's faiths and understand the importance of it. However, I get a tad touchy about when it impedes on my body, my government, or my schools. I am fine with religion as a private institute, but don't like when it is pushed upon other people. Ergo when I realized that the 50% of sales going to africa statement had to do with money spent to build churches and not hospitals... I felt a little awkward. This place is cute. I am not denying that. It's great for someone who wants that ultra-religious vibe in their house. There are some really wonderful things there, and the prices are great. I honestly wouldn't hesitate to go back if I hadn't found out exactly what the charity they were contributing so significantly to. I wish I could give a place 3.5 stars.

We spent, easily, 2-3 hours in there; I could easily spend a whole day in there and look through all of their stuff. There's at least 3-4 vendors (I think--there may be more than that) that contribute to the store selection. The staff is super friendly, too. One vendor almost walked past us, but stopped and asked if she could hold our stuff at check out so we didn't have to carry it around the store! A little pricey for me, but nothing unreasonable or egregious! You'll definitely do a lot of internal debating about a purchase. Overall, wonderful experience. Absolutely worth the time and money.
