So, when I received an award from work that included high end luxury items, including Gucci wallet and a Louis Vuitton bag, I was clueless what to do with them. I'm a jeans and tee kind of dude. Asking online, I was directed here - just down street from my home. They were absolutely helpful to me, being totally clueless and walking in like "I have this Gucci wallet and this bag." They took care of everything else for me - and cut me a check when they sold. I'm a gruff looking dude and they didn't make me feel out of place, and made the entire process pleasant. SoHo Luxury Exchange is my go to place to buy high end purses. It's the only consignment shop I trust for authenticity and secure shipping. I live in Texas but discovered this store while visiting my family in Dublin a few years ago. So far I've purchased a Gucci, Tory Burch, and YSL bags. The Gucci bag is a vintage and I use it daily and get lots of compliments on it. The Tory Burch and YSL bags are evening bags so I save them for special occasions. My most recent purchase (YSL) is my dream bag and I was searching for this purse for a long time! I saw Soho do a live story on their Instagram and I contacted them right away to purchase it. It's a limited edition and it still had the tags on it! It is a real find! When I noticed this nearby and saw all the good reviews, I stopped in, and had a great experience. I explained (in clueless terms) what I was looking for, and the staff helped me with questions and suggestions. Everyone here ended up helping in some way, and they are patient, knowledgeable, and not pushy. This place is hands down the best consignment store in Columbus. Not only is the selection great, the owners are always very helpful. The décor makes you feel like your are in a fancy boutique. Its located next to the play it again sports on sawmill, in case your wondering. You will get a lot more for your items if you take it here instead of platos closet, clothes mentor, second chance ect. You receive 50% of the sales, so it really doesn't get better than that. Where I find gently used designer clothes: Ralph Lauren, Missoni, Cache, Worth, Tumi, etc. They carry a lot of Lululemon and other athletic brands. I love the Soho Fashion Exchange because it feels like an upscale retail store, but with amazing prices on all the clothing, accessories, and furnishings! I have gotten several amazing outfits there and never paid more than $15 for any piece. They have all the great labels, better prices than many other places and are always friendly. I really find the shopping experience there fantastic as the dressing rooms are large with plenty of hooks and privacy, the layout of the store is spacious (but with so many clothes and accessories!) and it is overall just a lovely boutique (without boutique prices!!) Plus, if you want a great designer purse at an awesome price, they have the largest selection and best prices. read more

The woman working this past week was immediately acting and being judgemental as we asked her about putting some men's items on consignment. She apparently did not think we looked like our items could possibly be worth a cent and "designer labeled" enough to go in her store. Oh and she knew that our clothes wouldn't be of high enough quality because we had never been in that store and therefore we did not know about the "designer labeled" clothing that her customers want. She hadn't even seen our items yet. We brought in men's clothing that were still tagged and were definitely made of high quality materials with reputable "labels." That salesperson had already made her decision before she even saw our items. Then she flippantly tossed our items as she went through them. Then she decided to treat us as low as she could by taking us to a rack of men's shirts that she said she had to go buy....$200 shirts with "designer labels." "This," she said, "is what our customers buy." I should have counted the times she said "designer labels." There are going to be some happy and grateful men at Goodwill. We immediately dropped off men's pants, shorts, shirts, and coats at Goodwill. We should have gone to Goodwill as we always do yet I had a brilliant idea, because the quality of our items was so high, to try that consignment shop. We will never set foot in that store ever again nor we will we recommend it to any of our wonderfully kind and giving upper class friends. They, as we, do not want to support anyone as snobby and dismissive as that salesperson. She needs to be reminded of "do not judge a book by its cover." We could have bought her store! read more

I had visited SoHo Fashion Exchange a handful of times and considered it a quality consignment shop. The clothes are nice and reasonably priced. The store is clean and well organized. My experience there had been fairly average until I met Amanda. Amanda is their designer/model. (There are posters of her that hang in the shop.) Amanda has an amazing designer's eye and is able to select fashions that look beautiful on you! I was in search of a shrug. She tirelessly assisted me in finding several shrugs to try on; unfortunately, none of them worked for me. However, I didn't leave empty-handed. I began shopping for my other reason for going to SoHo that day--to look for unique clothes to enhance my current wardrobe. Amanda assisted me by giving honest, professional opinions and selected a necklace and blazer; I bought both. I also purchased shoes and a top. I had no buyer's remorse when I got home. Unacceptable professionalism from a business like this! Went in about a issue with them mis-sizing clothing. While there I questioned how they go about marking sizes about Lululemon clothing that no longer have the tags on them and the validity for said Lululemon products since they always talk about how they only sell "luxury designer labels". I was told that it would be "best to keep my mouth shut." When I asked her why she asked me to shut up her response was that she never said that. Never would I think that a owner of a business like this would be that rude to a paying customer! Very unprofessional and customer service is by far the worst I've ever seen. Not the first time having issues at this establishment either! Will never return to this business again. There are many other better consignment store around Dublin that are much better and wouldn't treat their customers in such a way. read more
