The decor was so fabulous, seemed like a mashup of cozy, modern, rustic chic! The host, who must have been the owner, was so attentive, I can tell she's very passionate about providing high quality service and ensuring a fun atmosphere! The selection of scents were broad and also very unique! They had fall scents behind the counter to use so that was even more awesome that they rotate scents based on the season! The showers was a few hours long so we had plenty of time to enjoy some food from the shower and also make a candle. I heard about Tiki Botanicals through a partnered Yelp event, when I mentioned that I was unable to attend the event the shopkeeper right away said he would honor the event promo. When you walk in there are paper shoppers bags along the wall you can grab to start putting your goodies in. They offer candles, bath bombs, bar soap, hair products, and more! When you check out you get to pick which tissue paper to use in your bag. So adorable and a great touch. As I was leaving the shop I heard the shopkeepers discussing what they would work on for the day. They were going to pour candles. It was a very Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion moment and it made me smile from ear to ear! You can really tell they enjoy what they do and know how to provide a memorable customer experience.

There are many different scent options, and product options. They change up a bit each season, so worth stopping back every few months.

I took my sad plant to their little shop explained what was going on and how much this plant meant to me. He showed me what pot to buy (which I knew I was gonna need) and they repotted it for free with the purchase of the ceramic pot with drip tray. Gave me a quick plant lesson on how to care for it and sent me on my way. It's officially 6 months later and my peace lily has now bloomed and is thriving. The shop is fun. David, the owner is helpful and good at helping you pick out the right plant for the right lighting, plus he explains how to keep plants alive (which I am so very bad at-but getting better with his help!) Learned he even makes some of his own pots. Which is so cool! Plants were reasonably priced. The two I purchased were about 17 bucks. The pots were a bit more but the quality was excellent. I am sure I will be back as I gain more confidence in being a plant mom!

She absolutely loves candles so it was super fitting to get her one while I was here. The staff helped me pick one out called Nature's Paintbrush, which was perfect because my aunt is an artist. I believe it's one of their signature scents. As my aunt opened her gifts, the candle was a hit and was passed around the table for smells. Ohhhs and ahhhs were flowing left and right. Along with selling candles, they also offer candle making services which could be a lot of fun with a friend or on a date night. If you're looking for a special gift or a fun activity in Old Towne East, definitely head this way.
