What drew me to this church was the sermons were biblically based and not opinion based. Very easy to understand and most important, easy to apply to my daily walk with the Lord. I woke up this morning preparing to go to attend another church and, as I normally do, I checked my phone. Sound familiar, folks? I was perplexed (and a bit annoyed) to find an invite on Facebook from Fountain Church. For whatever reason, it just took me by surprise. I was then shocked to find out that they were very close to where I live! So, I committed to checking it out after my regular service. Despite the fact that I always try to stay very objective when entering new environments, I was still a little blown away by many things: the energy, the GENUINE friendliness and Godly love I felt from many in attendance, the worship, and most importantly the scripturally sound and very relatable message brought by Pastor Matt! Following the service, I stayed for a "Growth Track" class, and afterwards was able to spend approximately 45 minutes fellowshiping and getting to know Pastor Matt one-on-one. His availability, in and of itself, speaks volumes of his heart for people! Needless to say, it was a FANTASTIC Holy Spirit filled experience. I'm going back! I'm grateful to have found the Fountain church. It is true that Pastors Matt and Jacqui are young, energetic and the service is contemporary, but it's the warm welcoming atmosphere that drew me in. The way that Pastor Matt shares his heart, the scriptures and his life is really refreshing. Pastor Jacqui beams with the love of Jesus as she leads us in joyful anointed worship. Looking for a small nit community feel as a home church, then look no farther! The Fountain is a small church, but growing fast!! I've attended since day one when Pastors Matt and Jacqui Lacey took over and the congregation was made up of 30 people!! I can guarantee that even with the growth in number of 205 regular attendees it's still as homey and comforting as it was with just 30!! From the moment you walk onto the grounds you are greeted with the warmest smiles and biggest hellos. You are engaged as if you've attended all your life and have been gone for 2 weeks. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Worship is always so personal and refreshing the spirit meets me here week after week. Tearing me down and building me up its amazing. The word that Sr. Pastor Matt brings always has me reflecting my walk every week. I love that he uses personal life scenarios to correlate with the message for a simpler understanding. Matt breaks the word down to its simplest form that even a child could understand the message. He actually studies the word week after week bringing in new knowledge and understanding of the biblical background and what the word really means. I love that he even teaches the Hebrew and Greek terms so you fully understand the translation in its entirety. As a church body I feel as if I'm apart of an actual family with extended cousins and aunts. They even make a conscious effort to give back to the community with all their small groups and out reaches!! If Sunday mornings are just a bit to much of a commitment for you, they do have prayer on Tuesday nights starting at 6:00 pm and Small Groups will be starting up in a neighborhood near you this February 14!! This little happening church truly astounded me! I came here with my college-aged daughter, because she knew Pastor Matt before he came out to this church, and said that she really speaks to her, to her generation especially. I found that not only was he very contemporary and engaging, but he is extremely funny as well as profoundly deep! Pastor Matt is energetic, young, with a beautiful wife and 2 young daughters and another child on the way. He's clean-cut, almost low-key in jeans and shiny white sneakers, yet charismatic in manner and tone; you really want to hear what he's going to say next. He has well thought-out themes with PowerPoint overheads, great anecdotes, even very personal and interesting ones, and very well presented biblical concepts for practical every day life, as well as in-depth exegesis. I think he does an unusually fine job of presenting content that is interested for somebody who has never even been to a church before, and yet enough thoughtful content for even the veteran Christian. I enjoyed the coffee, brownies, and fruit and cinnamon rolls before the church service started. I found the people very warm and friendly, eager to connect if I wanted to reach out, yet chill enough to leave me alone when I didn't. Not everybody looked like me! There was young & old people, seasoned and new, and reasonably culturally diverse as well. The service then starts out with a fine little rock concert; an acoustic guitar, electric bass, two keyboards and several singers, singing contemporary Christian music that was very upbeat and engaging. They have lots of activities and things to get involved in, small groups from arts and crafts to prayer groups to basketball, and after church in-depth studies with (I loved this!) "clear on/ramps to kick-start your spiritual life." The church I had attended previously was five minutes from my home, and I seriously wondered about driving about a half an hour to attend the service here. But I decided to do that; it's well worth it. read more

I literally never take the time to write reviews, good or bad, but the Fountain is so life transformational that I felt the need to write this, specifically for others who have been searching their whole life to find a church they can call home too. I have always struggled with being "known" and thus have kept people at arms length but pastor Matt and his team have made it a safe place to be known; you're allowed to come as you're and are embraced with love and grace no matter where you're on your journey. For most of my Christian life I have been stuck in a state of perpetual infancy, but God has used the fountain to bring me into a deeper revelation of who He is, resting in his sufficiency and finished work and lastly and most importantly how imperative Christ-centered relationships are. The Spirit is breathing such profound life into the Fountain and I am excited to continue to grow in my my walk with this loving church family. read more

I really really wish I could give this place 5 stars - pastor Matt is phenomenal and I find his messages to be very healing and motivating. It is the worship portion that I struggle sitting through. Although they have some incredible talent on the praise team, the woman who leads the praise team is only mediocre - I find her voice to be distracting, making it difficult to get into the Spirit and fully embrace the right mindset before receiving the word. I even tried skipping worship and coming in during church announcements (right before Pastor Matt begins his message), but the man who greated me at the door insisted that I should be getting to church when it actually started, and then the church further discouraged tardiness during announcements. It was for this reason that I stopped going altogether and found another church. If they change out their praise leader, I would definitely go back. read more
