Jen Derk Design was a referral from a good friend of mine. I was skeptical at first because, I did not have a lot of experience in this area. Once I contacted Jen she quickly turned the experience into a fun one. I had an Idea of what I wanted but, did not know how to get there. Jen in her easy to talk to manor, was able to ask the questions and pull the information together to provide me with samples that were amazing. Working with Jen was such relief compared to experiences I've had in the past!! She comes highly recommended!! For one, there is her high level of professionalism, something a lot of freelancers lack. In addition, her well trained and tasteful eye that is current and modern, as well as her obvious abundance of knowledge surrounding design work; which in turn facilitates fast execution on projects. Having dealt with dozens of graphic designers over the years, my issues always are the same - the lack of communication on their part and their inability to complete a task in the designated timeframe. None of these were a problem with Jen! She breezed through my projects and was quick to contact me with any questions or to get my opinion on her progress (unlike designers in the past who instead work on it, unsure of wether it's exactly what I want or not, and then later have to go back and make changes that I pay for!!) . Most impressive was her immediate ability to understand my aesthetic and the "look' I was trying to achieve. In areas where I was unclear myself of what I wanted, she effectively steered me in the right direction and presented options fined tuned for my needs.
