Thankfully my brother lives in the area and was able to take an entire day off work to advocate for her and work this out. Her rent will remain the same for one year and if there is an increase after a year, it will be 2-3%. My mother is on a fixed income and has recently been diagnosed with vascular dementia. An admin from St. Paul's called me today to talk about the "mistake". I'm not sure I believe it was truly a mistake and hope and pray that other seniors have someone like my brother in their life that can advocate for them. There are continued issues with the HVAC in my mom's apartment as well as poor water pressure and holes in the wall due to old cable outlets (residents have been switched to Dish) and old landline phone jacks not being covered with plastic outlet covers. My mom says the staff is friendly, especially the kitchen staff, and she is excited to start a new "sit and fit" class being organized by staff member, Emily. She loves the location and the new renovations make the place look nice and clean. It's not perfect, but overall I feel my mom is safe there and will be well taken care of.

Every time I try to contact them they don't reply back. they don't help the patients with their disability or Social Security income, if the patients are out of money or have no income they loan money to patients, knowing that they're not able to make the decisions for loan's and f family sends money they keep it and their mail.,and let's not mention how nasty the facility is with urine smells and urine on the floor toilet are nasty with poop on walls laundry is never done so they make these clients sit in robes, naked, exposing themselves and not making sure they're being taking care of and properly clothed ,this place needs to be shut down and those clients need to be transferred closer to their families. my opinion may not make a change. however I do hope it does. please help these poor ppl find a way out to a better place. don't have your family memeber go here if they are taken here to this place move them asap!

This facility needs to be shut down immediately in my opinion. As a visitor, I witnessed urine left…read moreon the floor for hours after I reported it. There are roach traps all over the facility. I witnessed staff both ignore and yell at the patients that were in need of medical care, The smell of urine and feces is so strong it burned my nostrils. There was not a chair for me to sit in while visiting, and patients have to provide their own tv's. The water was the color of lemonade. The nurse was "on lunch" for what amounted to around four hours while patients waited in pain, with soiled diapers, hungry, or thirsty. Medications weren't given timely if at all. The kicker here is that unless the nurse signs you out, you aren't allowed to leave unless you sign yourself out. 911 would not come to take the patient to the hospital because it is privately owned. The patient couldn't stand up or walk to get to a car to be transported. I believe people may die if they enter this facility due to lack of care and neglect. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!

They also do not have a "fall risk program" implemented which they have been cited for already. Same as the other review. Cedar Ridge claimed the facility my mom was at was a sh*t hole but this place was so awful her doctor urged her to call 911 and go to the nearest hospital. Do not send your family here. Only place closest to Belleville that I would recommend is Memorial Care Center. All these places have shitty employees but you'll find some good ones still at MCC. Grateful for all their help.
