Great start to our stay in Sydney! We had eaten here in past visits and hoped it was going to be as good and it was even better! Weren't sure that we were going to get a table but we lucked into one that was just vacated. We ordered a savory crepe with goat cheese, dried figs, salad greens and dressed with a honey mustard dressing and a sweet crepe flambéed with grand marnier with a scoop of vanilla ice cream added. Both crepes were perfect. We got both of them at the same time and kept eating each others. I am not a big fan of goat cheese but this savory salad crepe was one of the best Will definitely return. I'm never going to say no to dessert for dinner! The food here is super yummy and very rich - I loved it! I had the coconut ice cream with homemade Belgian chocolate crepes. I got the double and it was a good size for me, although every one else preferred the single size. The coconut ice cream is sooo good. I wished I had two scoops on it! My sister noted the cinnamon sugar one was a bit dry since it didn't have a sauce/drizzle. She used my excess Belgian chocolate and then loved it! You can order on your phone but we did that and they lost our order. Surely it was a fluke but just something to keep an eye on! They rushed our order after that. read more

My galette was perfectly cooked and the portions of the toppings were spot on. Despite the business of the place, we were not rushed at all and actually had to flag someone down to get our check. The staff were friendly and efficient, if maybe a little harried. I'd come back to try one of the sweet crepe options, but had to go savory this time since they grind their own buckwheat for the flour used in the galettes. Basically the savory selection is made with buck wheat so it's naturally gluten free and the sweet can be made gluten free. Just be sure to specify. I ordered a plain crepe with cinnamon and butter. Asked for maple syrup and it was so delicious. Also I never got sick so I feel it was truly gluten free. The service wasn't great but my husband talked to the guy working there and was told he was the manager, server and bus boy!! Not working for tips I guess is why they might be lacking in service. My wife and I just couldn't eat the crepes. Duck and ham were too salty for us and gluten free milled crepes too heavy on the stomach. To each his own and we prefer thin light crepes. When we were seeking dinner by Circular Quay before a night at the Opera, we thought we might enjoy a more affordable meal since we had already splurged on our evening's entertainment. Having spotted an ad about the nearby Gateway with its 29 Eateries, 3 levels of dining, All Day, 7 Days a Week, we headed off to Alfred Street. But it was nearly 5:30pm and the food court stands were closed, while the Four Frogs Creperie on the ground floor was one of a handful of options that remained opened. We ended up having dinner at one of the other establishments up on the upper floors of the Gateway, but since a friend and I were hankering for something sweet, we popped over to Four Frogs for a Nutella Crepe $7 with bananas $3 to go. A very nice alternative to the ordinary, Four Frogs offers savoury and sweet crepes. On my first visit, I had the bacon-egg-swiss cheese crepe and it came with a small side salad. And I tried the Australian cider (non-alcoholic) The crepe's texture was very light and it made for a perfect late breakfast or lunch. On my second visit, I tried the chicken-mushroom-swiss cheese-garlic-parsley, which was really tasty. And then I pigged-out with the dessert crepe of coconut ice cream and homemade Belgian chocolate sauce. Oh yes! Coconut ice cream is unique in itself, add their chocolate sauce, and you made this customer very happy. The servers are hard-working and efficient. A fine blessing of French food rich in flavour and atmosphere. I've never eaten a crepe but this place has now proven to me that it has been something that I've been missing out on. I did struggle with the waitress's accents, it was quite busy and I am hearing impaired. However my wife was able to do all the ordering. Our meals came out in responsibly time. You cannot rush art and that is what it was, flavour art. The balance of flavours where only promoted by the fresh ingredients. The galette was delicate on the tongue and the fullness of the galette's contents was unleashed in poetic delight. After our savory crepes my wife and I were so engrossed by what we'd just eaten that we ordered a sweet crepe to share. I'm one of those people who likes to counter balance a savory main meal with a contrasting dessert. Once again we were taken to heaven. All and all great service with marvelous meals and an enticing atmosphere made for a truly wonderful lunch. I was craving crepes and saw the amazing reviews on yelp so I had to check it out while I was in Sydney. I'm so glad I did because the crepe and quality of toppings were amazing! The crepe was light and chewy (but not too chewy). I got the Belgian chocolate and strawberries on top - the strawberries were great quality and the chocolate was a nice rich dark chocolate drizzled on top. I have only good things to say about this place - the customer service was great and the location is ideal for those travelling to see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I came here with a few friends over the weekend quite late for some dessert. We hadn't previously heard or seen this place before, but were drawn in by the delicious smells and appealing menu. We had a hard time choosing from the menu because absolutely everything sounded delicious. We were lucky enough to have the waiter squeeze in our order before the kitchen closed. I ordered the double white chocolate icecream crepes with caramel sauce and they were absolutely divine. So delicious that I wish I had ordered more. I have honestly never had crepes so yummy anywhere before. The actual crepes are not overly sweet themselves, but the toppings added just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect balance of flavours! I also had a hot Nutella and it was equally as delicious. Not overpoweringly sweet with a hint of Nutella. My favourite thing, however, was the service. It was absolutely incredible customer service - the best I have had anywhere in a long time. The waiter had a beautiful French accent and was so friendly the whole night, even though we came in right before the kitchen closed. He was making jokes and was extremely efficient in taking and delivering our orders. It was just an absolute pleasure to be served by him. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already! Absolutely fantastic and I will without a doubt be returning next time I am in Sydney. read more

The atmosphere is great it was like i was in France. The Waitress spoke French to each other and it was about hard to understand because their accents are quiet strong. My friend ordered a plain Nutella crepe with some homemade strawberry lemonade the lemonade was nice but tasted more like soda with a hint of raspberry. Very good traditional ciders (not as sweet as the ciders I am used to, which is a good thing) Galettes were deliciously crispy on the outside, with a really good blend of ingredients on the inside.
