I live in a one bedroom with a patio. It's a good size for 1-2 people. You can have cats and dogs. They have a small gym, pool, basketball/tennis courts on the far left, and a sand volleyball court. They have public laundry rooms but if you pay more you can have a washer and dryer in your apartment. It's very useful if you like to do laundry late at night. Some of the apartments will have walk-in closets. If you live upstairs you'll have a nice balcony. Maintenance is very good here, they respond quickly. The apartment staff is very pleasant and helpful. They provide cat sitting in case you're out of town. They can only change the food and water, they can't empty the cat litter. Your neighbors in your building are very kind. They'll bring in your packages and set it by the mail area. That's if it's not too heavy or bulky. Cons: Spacious parking although you'll find that people don't have parking skills. Your "neighbors" also drive like idiots here. They either drive super slow or they pull out in front of you. Be wary that these neighbors also like to walk in front of cars vs using the sidewalks. Like anywhere else, you got morons living close to you. It's relatively safe but you do see a bunch of random weirdos that drive around the parking lots and not really stopping. Overall about a 3.5 due to the incompetent drivers, idiots, and weirdos.

I've lived in four different apartments in the area over the years, and this was by far the best. The front office staff are always helpful. (Hi, Alicia!) The maintenance staff is always courteous and FAST. I didn't have to submit too many maintenance requests, but each time they were completed in less than 24 hours, often within just a few hours. And on top of it, I always got a call following up a few days later to make sure it all went smoothly. What? Amazing. The buildings and units themselves are wonderful. Clean and spacious, with washers and dryers and many have patios. Our unit had double sinks in the master bathroom and I miss them SO MUCH. Ha! There are great amenities, too. There are parking garage spots which is amazing. Not scraping snow off my car was glorious. There is a fitness center with cardio equipment and weights/machines. There's a party room to rent as well. There's a pool and community grills to use which was great during the summer. Guest parking is easy; they just need a tag for overnight. The location was great. Movie theater and restaurants out our back door. (Try VIP Thai!) There are trails which connect to Green Valley and the DuPage County trails. This was perfect for running. We never would have left... except we bought a house. If we had continued living in apartments, we would DEFINITELY have stayed at AMLI.

The swimming pool, party room, business center, workout room, and Amazon Hub are just some of the perks living here. We love that we can walk to dinner, a movie, and ice cream. When we first moved here we asked everyone we met if they like living here.... everyone said they love it... and we do too. I highly recommend Amli Seven Bridges.

The new addition of the package kiosk is nice for those who leave work after the office is closed. Lived there for a year, but the cost of a two bed, two bath was steep. When moving out, my roommate was considering moving to a 1 bed,1 bath and rent was so high, it was only $200 off from what we paid for the 2 bed, 2 bath. I get rent goes up every year but... If you can afford to live here, it is very nice. But for what I paid, I would expect 1. warm water in my kitchen sink: it took more than 10 min to go from freezing to luke warm 2. have better water pressure: good luck washing your dishes by hand if you choose. 3. have my maintenance requests taken seriously: I complained about shower water pressure and heating time multiple times, and it wasn't until about 2 months left in my lease until it was ACTUALLY fixed. The bathroom sinks and kitchen sinks still took forever, as previously stated. Was always blamed on being an "end unit" 4. You would think maintenance would check the heating units every winter, as it wasn't til we had fishy smells for a week that maintenance said "some part in the unit dries up and causes the smell, it happens every year" well ok.... why don't you check it every winter before it happens? 5. fitness equipment: the treadmills are an injury waiting to happen with sticky conveyer belts and Swiss balls that look like they haven't been replaced since the apartments were built. The cable column is new and very nice. 6. Appliances: the refrigerator hands down sucks. Could never open it all the way because it was placed right by the wall. Can't adjust shelves reasonably. Freezes food a lot. 7. Heating and Air conditioning: one room will be really hot, one will be really cold, one will be fine. You will have to decide who suffers. 8. Parking: people park like a-holes, if you have remotely a new car- only park as far close to the curb in an end spot or rent an expensive garage. 9. You hear a lot. I could hear dresser drawers close in the unit above. Every morning. At 6:45 am. 10. Residents with dogs don't pick up after their pets outside in the grass area. Have stepped in poop multiple times. I rated the place high because I did like my apartment. The list is just suggestions to make living in the apartments and cost worth it or for potential renters to address. I'm sure not everyone experienced these things, but it's a warning that it MIGHT be an issue.

Abbey Apartments at Four Lakes has been an absolute nightmare…read moreto deal with, especially Tabitha Leiber the area manager for Eagle Management, who is far from professional. During our time at 5550 Abbey Dr., Apt. 3B, we endured ongoing mold and water damage issues that were never adequately addressed, despite repeated attempts to resolve the situation since November 2023. We even had a professional mold test conducted, which confirmed the problem, but management failed to take proper action. In addition to the mold and water damage, there were extended periods without heat, air conditioning, and even warm water. The elevator often didn't work--or simply went out for days at a time--making it unsafe and inconvenient. We finally had to vacate the apartment two months early due to these unsafe conditions, after providing proper notice on 8/27/2024. Despite leaving due to valid reasons supported by evidence, management has now attempted to collect rent for the remaining lease term. This is despite the fact that the apartment was immediately listed for rent, rented to a new tenant, and occupied soon after we left--something (collecting dual rent on one unit) that is illegal under Illinois law (735 ILCS 5/9-213). This property is poorly managed, unsafe, and unethical in its practices. I strongly advise anyone considering Abbey Apartments at Four Lakes to look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and stress.
