Beware everyone who wants to move in, This is the worse place to live IN, The bunch of roaches coming out of every pipeline coming to your unit. Management won't help you solve the issue they might give you a new unit to move in too, but you dont know if it's going to be the same thing. I will post review to that if it's same in future that is if they will help me.. my recommendation to move into this apartment community is bellow zero.

Severe kitchen leak ignored by management

This apartment company is CRIMINAL. From the moment we moved in we had nothing but issues and even after moving out a FULL YEAR ago, we are still dealing with them trying to get them to mail our security deposit back. When we moved in, we had no carpet in one of the closets, no screens in the windows, the closet doors were on the floor instead of hung, no carbon monoxide detector, and no working smoke detector. We reported these issues immediately and were promised it would be fixed within the hour. Nobody ever came and that night our air conditioner started leaking rainwater down the wall. It took WEEKS of calling and eventually showing up to sit in the office to get them to fix anything. When we moved out, we STILL had a broken smoke detector and our closet doors couldn't be used or they'd fall down. During the winter, water started pouring in through the roof of our third floor apartment. We called the emergency line but were told the on call maintenance person lived in the city and wouldn't be able to make it out. About a week later maintenance came out and gave us a shop vacuum to keep downstairs from flooding any more. We continued calling and showing up at the office while they told us we were lying about the damage and refused to fix it. It took an official letter requesting a release from our lease to get a person out to stop the flooding. The office repeatedly refused to call the fire alarm company and it took us contacting the village of Woodridge to get a carbon monoxide detector installed when Morgan Properties took over ownership. This company is JUST AS AWFUL as the previous one. It is impossible to get ahold of the office and if they do answer, they just take down your information and promise to call back, which they never do. The grounds are disgusting, filled with screaming remnants, and the grass is filled with broken glass. It is unsafe and I wouldn't wish my worst enemy lives there. While we lived there, there was a shooting in the parking lot, which the complex made no statement about. We only knew about it because of the police presence of the investigation. Living here has been an absolute nightmare. When we moved out, the worker took our keys without even asking who we were. We insisted she give us some sort of receipt to prove we returned our keys and we're glad we did because they contacted us a week later accusing us of not returning our keys and trying to charge us for the additional rent. At this point a full year later, they still insist they sent our security deposit back do us despite never having asked for an address. When we ask them to void the check and write a new one, they say they will and never get back to us. They continue ignoring our emails, calls, and visits to the office. At this point, we're going to have to she to get the money back. Save your money and frustration. Don't live here.

They deserve negative No water again, cracks in the ceiling that has been report over 5 times. They came out to take pictures of the damage twice and have not been back, this has been ongoing for months. Don't live here, the neighbors constantly fight and the office does nothing.

Water leaking under tile from refrigerator

I toured Windsor Lake apartment and looked at the "staged apartment" before I moved in...and was I FOOLED. Staged apartment looks nothing like the apartment I received. We pay for amenities that we don't use and during the summer I can count on numerous occasions that the pool was NOT OPEN and/or it was filthy. The day I moved in June 2023, the apartment was not ready, they were still cleaning the carpet while I was bringing in my furniture and boxes. When viewing my apartment I noticed I didn't get the upgraded apartment that I originally asked for. The rubber part by the front door was coming loose, the main bedroom ceiling fan was hanging and had to be replaced, the kitchen cabinet was hanging off, guest bathroom tile around the toilet wacomin apart and had a funny smell due to the toilet running. My air kept going out and my son and I were HOT, they put some portable units in my apartment and ended up needing to get a new unit. I did get my counter top painted but I feel that was because of all the other things that were wrong. They were not replaced just painted while I was out of town. The kitchen/living room ceiling has been patched up where there appeared to be a leak and my sons room has a water/mold stain on the ceiling. It leaks rust water under all 3 sinks, kitchen and both bathroom's. I pay for pest control monthly and they don't go through the entire apartment (I have cameras) it takes an act of congress to get maintenance to come out after putting in work orders. I put in a work order for my ice maker on December 18, 2023 and it wasn't until December 28th before someone came to even look at it. I had water leaking from my refrigerator that is building up under the tile in the kitchen. I don't know what happened to Mr. Randy the maintenance guy but he did try and get things done the best he could and faster!! (HIRE HELP) The rent is way to high to have these many issues and the apartments are super old to be this expensive. They don't get in a rush to fix anything but they want the rent to be paid on time or you will be charged a fee. They barely answer the phone and sometimes close early. SMH!!! I've never lived in a an apartment complex like this before. You have to constantly go to the post office to pick up packages that they won't leave but UPS/FEDEX will leave by your door. There's no home feeling at all. I will NOT recommend Windsor Lake to ANYONE!! Hopefully I'll find a house before my lease is up. Please do better!!!

I've lived in four different apartments in the area over the years, and this was by far the best. The front office staff are always helpful. (Hi, Alicia!) The maintenance staff is always courteous and FAST. I didn't have to submit too many maintenance requests, but each time they were completed in less than 24 hours, often within just a few hours. And on top of it, I always got a call following up a few days later to make sure it all went smoothly. What? Amazing. The buildings and units themselves are wonderful. Clean and spacious, with washers and dryers and many have patios. Our unit had double sinks in the master bathroom and I miss them SO MUCH. Ha! There are great amenities, too. There are parking garage spots which is amazing. Not scraping snow off my car was glorious. There is a fitness center with cardio equipment and weights/machines. There's a party room to rent as well. There's a pool and community grills to use which was great during the summer. Guest parking is easy; they just need a tag for overnight. The location was great. Movie theater and restaurants out our back door. (Try VIP Thai!) There are trails which connect to Green Valley and the DuPage County trails. This was perfect for running. We never would have left... except we bought a house. If we had continued living in apartments, we would DEFINITELY have stayed at AMLI.

When we first moved here we asked everyone we met if they like living here.... everyone said they love it... and we do too. I highly recommend Amli Seven Bridges.

I live in a one bedroom with a patio. It's a good size for 1-2 people. You can have cats and dogs. They have a small gym, pool, basketball/tennis courts on the far left, and a sand volleyball court. They have public laundry rooms but if you pay more you can have a washer and dryer in your apartment. It's very useful if you like to do laundry late at night. Some of the apartments will have walk-in closets. If you live upstairs you'll have a nice balcony. Maintenance is very good here, they respond quickly. The apartment staff is very pleasant and helpful. They provide cat sitting in case you're out of town. They can only change the food and water, they can't empty the cat litter. Your neighbors in your building are very kind. They'll bring in your packages and set it by the mail area. That's if it's not too heavy or bulky. Cons: Spacious parking although you'll find that people don't have parking skills. Your "neighbors" also drive like idiots here. They either drive super slow or they pull out in front of you. Be wary that these neighbors also like to walk in front of cars vs using the sidewalks. Like anywhere else, you got morons living close to you. It's relatively safe but you do see a bunch of random weirdos that drive around the parking lots and not really stopping. Overall about a 3.5 due to the incompetent drivers, idiots, and weirdos.

The new addition of the package kiosk is nice for those who leave work after the office is closed. Lived there for a year, but the cost of a two bed, two bath was steep. When moving out, my roommate was considering moving to a 1 bed,1 bath and rent was so high, it was only $200 off from what we paid for the 2 bed, 2 bath. I get rent goes up every year but... If you can afford to live here, it is very nice. But for what I paid, I would expect 1. warm water in my kitchen sink: it took more than 10 min to go from freezing to luke warm 2. have better water pressure: good luck washing your dishes by hand if you choose. 3. have my maintenance requests taken seriously: I complained about shower water pressure and heating time multiple times, and it wasn't until about 2 months left in my lease until it was ACTUALLY fixed. The bathroom sinks and kitchen sinks still took forever, as previously stated. Was always blamed on being an "end unit" 4. You would think maintenance would check the heating units every winter, as it wasn't til we had fishy smells for a week that maintenance said "some part in the unit dries up and causes the smell, it happens every year" well ok.... why don't you check it every winter before it happens? 5. fitness equipment: the treadmills are an injury waiting to happen with sticky conveyer belts and Swiss balls that look like they haven't been replaced since the apartments were built. The cable column is new and very nice. 6. Appliances: the refrigerator hands down sucks. Could never open it all the way because it was placed right by the wall. Can't adjust shelves reasonably. Freezes food a lot. 7. Heating and Air conditioning: one room will be really hot, one will be really cold, one will be fine. You will have to decide who suffers. 8. Parking: people park like a-holes, if you have remotely a new car- only park as far close to the curb in an end spot or rent an expensive garage. 9. You hear a lot. I could hear dresser drawers close in the unit above. Every morning. At 6:45 am. 10. Residents with dogs don't pick up after their pets outside in the grass area. Have stepped in poop multiple times. I rated the place high because I did like my apartment. The list is just suggestions to make living in the apartments and cost worth it or for potential renters to address. I'm sure not everyone experienced these things, but it's a warning that it MIGHT be an issue.
