I've been using Four Paws for years and have never had a problem. I've used them for both my dogs and cats. They've expanded their pickup/drop off times. We've boarded our two pugs there for years without a problem. This year, though, I was told flatly "they couldn't come back there, ever." When I asked why, she said they had to be carried to go out. Now, they are 15 years old, with arthritis and hip dysplasia, which we clarified before boarding there. Plus, they weigh all of 19 and 23 pounds each. Not like they have to pick up a Great Dane. They contracted Kennel Cough during their stay, despite being vaccinated. This wasn't mentioned at all when we picked them up, though we noticed the coughing immediately. The little one has progressed to pneumonia now. I called to try to discuss with the owner but my call wasn't returned. Never again! Especially if your pup has any medical needs or needs a bit of help or is a senior dog-please take them elsewhere for care, and NOT at Four Paws. read more

They don't answer their phones nor return calls. They are only there 2 hors in morning and 2 in afternoon but evidently don't bother to check messages or don't care. Also, how comfortable are you leaving your pet when they are gone most the day cause if they weren't why the special "open" hours and if someone was there during so called closed hours can't they answer phones or return calls? Cause they aren't there. God forbid anything happens to your pet while no one is watching them. read more

I have been going to Four Paws for over 17 years and have been pleased with Trin's grooming and care of my poodles. I have been a loyal customer and never missed an appointment until Oct 8, 2020. The missed appointment was my fault , I forgot i changed the appointment. 3 days later I received a charge for 90.00 for the missed appointment and future appointments would be cancelled until 90.00 payment received . I went to see the owner who was not there and called 3 times. Finally, my husband called and was told, " they prefer we no longer use their services". So no civility, no professional demeanor ..... just go away! So remember a lot of great options in Augusta! read more

Frustrating place! Huge scheduling issues!! First trip, I booked 6 weeks in advance. They called several days before to reschedule for 2 weeks later. Second visit, they tell me my appointment was yesterday. I even have text messages it's today. Four Paws is too unreliable for me. read more

I've always been happy with the care they take of my Yorkie, Georgie. I don't like to board him but when I do, I always use Four Paws. I think that their prices are fair and the place smells clean and the people that work there always take great care of him. Would definitely recommend! read more

We have been using them 5 years but today was our last. We have two cats and they stay in one cage here at 4 paws. Charge $28 a day. No discount after 7 days like before. If you pick up after 12 ( we arrived at 12:10 ) ,they charge$10:00 daycare fee. Now that seems a little rediculous to me. Paid the extra $20 today but they lose the $200.00 they would have got for our fall vacation. Never going back. No loyalty. read more

Booked with 4 paws THREE weeks in advance for my pups. My husband and I are taking a trip to D.C. for a week. Were leaving in two days (Monday) and today (Saturday) I received a call saying they CAN NOT accommodate my dogs bc (we asked to keep them separate from one another). If they stay in separate kennels how can they not accommodate me? The lady would not listen to anything I had to say and kept trying to refer me to two other boarding facilities. BOTH were already closed and did not open back up until the following week. This is NOT a way to run your business and treat your customers. We had to scramble to find a boarding facility that would accept our dogs due to the way four paws runs their business. read more

I was so nervous about leaving my dog at a kennel as it was the first time she has stayed in a kennel. Prior to moving to Evans, she had stayed with family when we were out of town. Kara created me and took me on a tour of their facility prior to the drop off day. It was nice and clean. I scheduled her for a grooming on the day of pickup. Teri greeted us today as we picked up Bailey. She was perfectly groomed, just as I asked and she was so happy to see us. The facility was clean and the ladies there were very nice and friendly. As we left, we booked another reservation for our next out of town trip. I highly recommend Four Paws for your kenneling and grooming needs. read more

The staff here is unfriendly and just outright rude. We were on the way home from an 8 hour trip and the GPS said we were going to arrive there 3 minutes after they close. I called and let them know and the girl that answered the phone replyed "We close at 5. I got things to do." I told her I would pay for another night and that I just wanted to get my dog. She just replyed "sorry...I'm leaving at 5". she was a straight up BITCH!!! I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. If they are treating me like that I can only imagine what they are treating my dog like when she can't talk back and defend herself. read more

We have been going to his kennel for several years. The staff is so friendly to people and pets! They clearly they love animals. They treat my dog as if she were their own. I think the price is great for the facility and high level of care they provide. read more

Our happy-go-lucky Jack Russell has been coming here for years. He likes to be at Four Paws and comes home happy, clean, and uninjured. Usually he stays for only 2-3 nights, but he has stayed longer. After a long stay he is tired (probably from his own barking and running around) and a little thirsty. The nice folks at Four Paws like what they do and it shows in the care they take with the animals. read more

I would never refer or recommend anyone to take their animals Four Paws because they are very rude and unprofessional and do not care about the animals that come into their business. Just think about it, if they treat their customers with no respect and are rude to them, then how do you think they treat the animals you are leaving in their care? This business has surely gone down hill every since the new owners came into place which has been about 5 years ago. One of their employees forgot to cancel a reservation I made for my moms dog and because of their mistake, they sent me a bill for $130 and told me I could not bring my pets there for grooming until that bill got paid. When my moms dogs passed away, she came and got one of my rescue dogs to keep and they would not even let her take that dog for a grooming appt. when it is no longer my dog. What a joke. I told my mother not to go there but it is only because of Trin the groomer that mom even would consider going there. If Trin were to leave, Four Paws would have to go out of business because that is the only reason that they are still in business, because all their customers loves the groomer, Trin. read more
