Room smelled like dirty carpet cleaning water, the AC units putting out stinky humid air, the couch was old, musty and really itchy, mattress was lifting up at the corners several inches at the foot looked like the sheets were to small barely hanging on for dear life. The furniture was really tore up, coffee table looked like it was fourth hand, all of the furniture was Mismatched and in need of refurbishing and the $10 fee for parking was ridiculous....The good....it was quiet and everyone was very nice, the room was clean other than being old and smelly, bathroom was nice size and clean. First time ever not staying until check out time or asking for a late checkout, EVER. IF YOU JUST NEED A PLACE FOR A NIGHT BEFORE CATCHING A FLIGHT AT MESA GATEWAY ITS EXPENSIVE. This was room 315 a two room suite handicapped friendly. Ate downstairs with included breakfast, absolutely the high light, server was awesome food was delicious. My son and I arrived at Four Points in Mesa on a Thursday night after flying into Phoenix, and from the very first phone call, the experience was top-tier. The gentleman at the front desk walked us through exactly how to get from the airport to the hotel--patient, clear, and genuinely helpful. When we arrived, parking was easy and check-in was seamless. The two gentlemen at the front desk (Rodney and Austin) were, without a doubt, some of the most professional, kind, and welcoming staff I've encountered in years. That level of service set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is quaint, clean, and beautifully maintained. The gym was spotless (I used it twice!), and I appreciated the complimentary coffee available throughout the day. Small touches like that go a long way. What truly stood out, though, was the consistent professionalism and kindness of the staff. They also gave fantastic restaurant recommendations--every single one was a hit. I'll definitely be leaving separate reviews for those! Our room on the sixth floor overlooked a golf course, and the view was peaceful, sunny, and just what we needed. The hotel itself is quiet and relaxing--perfect for unwinding. I also requested a late checkout, and without hesitation, they accommodated me with a 1 PM checkout, which made a huge difference since my flight was later that evening. I am a Marriot member and stay at their properties about 50 nights a year min.. I have had some terrible property experiences this year since August but 2 stand out being the best experiences. This property and the Courtyard Roseville near the Galleria ! Both properties stand out 100% solely based on their staff ! Kind , welcoming , funny and are actually hospitable in the hospitality business . If you think that is a normal thing I'll tell you it's not so when you find a property with great individuals working caring for their guests it's a WIN! !! There are many places to spend your money but with staff members like Thomas , Tom , Sue and Rod you have e a great experience and a great stay knowing you've spent your money well. One more awesome thing to note the back door of the restaurant/bar opens up to a fire pit and the driving range that is attached to a golf course :) I didn't know that this trip but next time I'll bring my clubs ! This hotel is a blessing in disguise! Off the beaten path on the back side of Mesa Airport next to the golf course. It's quiet compared to the main drag. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The property is well kept. Rooms are nice... roomie... modern... my one issue, the AC units are extremely loud. Working overtime, just loud. Phoenix heat is unreal. Prices are competitive and discounts are available. They offer service to the airport and offer a cheaper price for leaving your vehicle at hotel vs airport... parking. Just saying. Enjoy. Relax. The only thing I didn't care about was the loud noise coming from the AC unit. The hotel is right next to a golf course and a gas station. Rough start, decent hotel, questionable staff. Shannon or Sharon (Said she was the general manager) was pretty unpleasant to meet after a 2 hour drive to this hotel. After her snatching my wifes id out of my hand I spoke out and she finally started to pretend to be more professional. At 5:30 pm they didn't have any King Beds cleaned and she tried giving me 2 queens, standing in front of her at 6'4". The rooms shades were broken and the fridge had a salad and dressings in it. Lights beside the bed flickered all night. The next day front desk ladies were much more professional. The hotel is otherwise clean and presentable. Breakfast was an orange and granola because of Covid, bar was closed because of Covid. Pool was open but occupancy was limited. They offer shuttle to Mesa Gateway Airport even at midnight. King bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice. read more

This place is a resort? Yeah, maybe a last resort if you've been driving all night and being chased by an Ax murderer filled with road rage and had no other place to pull off other than here. I've been to dozens of resorts throughout the country, and this definitely is not a resort. It's a motel 6 with a golf course and a bar. If I had to pay money, I definitely would not stay here, if the rate was over 40 bucks a night. I seriously would rather pay 60 bucks to stay at a motel 6. I will say, the people here are very accommodating, and they do have a bar, closes at 10:00 on Sunday and 11:00 on other nights so that's one reason for the star. The employees are very accommodating. The foyer and entryway is nice, they have a burn pit out back which is great, but they had a bunch of white weirdos out there talking about child molesters and foreign wars so I kept on walking. I want to unpack, and only have two drawers. Granted I have a closet, but two drawers? What am I supposed to do with that? So I guess half my stuff will stay in my suitcase and I can feel that I'm unwelcomed and dubbed a halfway hobo. Bathroom is your typical hotel bathroom without a tub. They have a pool, which after seeing the people by the fire pit, I will not be enjoying during the duration of my stay. Fitness center, conference rooms, all smoke and mirrors because nobody with any serious stature or serious coin would even fathom about spending any money to stay here. They have a dog walk or poodle park or whatever you want to call it, and they have beer cans strewn in bushes on the property. Real classy huh? Wonder if tiger woods would stay here? I didn't pay for my room, and I'm glad that I didn't because now I know that I would never come back to rent a room. If you have mediocre expectations, and don't actually know what a resort is, this is the place for you. However if you do and you're looking for what you're used to, I wouldn't Gamble and spend money to stay here. I'm pretty much disgusted with this place, and I didn't even drop a dime to stay here. read more

First time at Four Points at Mesa Gateway. Saw them build this place and not dissapointed. Great location near Gateway Airport and ASU Polytechnic. Next to a golf course and nearby convience store. Room was clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. Room had your standard flat screen, microwave and fridge. Large desk area with plenty of electrical outlets. Bathroom had a large walkin shower. Check in and check out were easy. Tried the Gegus Cafe on-site for a hot breakfast. Price was reasonable and food was good. A pleasant stay. read more

I stayed here for two nights - at each end of a trip to Tucson -- and it was not good either time. The decor and elevator is run down, the elevator makes a weird dysfunctional sound, there was a sewer gas smell in the hallway of the third floor, the restaurant was slow and the food was ok but not delicious. Worst of all, the last night our toilet was leaking water all over the bathroom floor when we arrived in our room, and they weren't able to move us or fix it until the next morning. I will say that I complained and the staff was kind and helpful and did make things right in terms of points/refunds. It is close to the airport so that is another plus. I stayed her for three nights for a girls weekend. My aunt was flying out of Mesa Gateway, so we decided to stay close to the airport. Got this hotel through the Hotwire express deal. Yes, it was about a 25 minute drive from Tempe and Scottsdale, but there was a lot of shopping nearby. We didn't feel inconvenienced by the drive into Scottsdale when we had stuff to do there. It was an easy drive. TEN STARs for customer service- we were so impressed with the entire staff from housekeeping to front desk to restaurant staff. Anytime we asked for anything we received a yes! Yes, the lobby does smell like cologne, but it didn't really bother us, we didn't hang out in the lobby anyways. Myself and my aunt have allergies and it didn't set us off at all during our stay. Yes, the AC was loud, but I guess I'm used to that in hotels? The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Appreciated the modern features such as outlet box on the night stand with outlets and USB ports. Extra hooks for things in the bathroom and the built in shampoo and conditioner were nice. Loved the sustainability factor of the room, with the keycard electricity system. We also took advantage of the no housekeeping service deal and enjoyed the two $5 coupons we earned from it in the hotel restaurant. When we ran into housekeeping in the mornings we simply asked them for anything we needed. The front desk was also stocked with everything we needed. Rooms came with a free bottle of water and were stocked with coffee and liquid creamer. Fridge, safe, and microwave in the room. No continental breakfast, but free coffee brewed in the lobby. The view of the golf course from our room was also a nice treat we weren't expecting! Looking forward to staying here again as I often fly out of Mesa Gateway. They of course have a shuttle to the Mesa-Gateway airport which was less than 10 minutes drive away, also across the street from the ASU Polytechnic campus. read more

Place is cozy, modern and with friendly staff. It has golf range / practice onsite. Wonder how that works; did not ask if anyone can use it / clubs can be rented. I've stayed here a few times for my BA drill. Otherwise I'd never stay at a place this nice. Rooms are really spacious, clean and very nice. The pool in the back is nice also. Swam in it during the summer so it's not heated (at least not during the summer) but the hot weather made the water super nice! There was a frog living in the pool at the time I went! I put him out but he jumped right back in so I told them and they removed the little guy. read more

We recently rented a room to accommodate 100 people and reserved 10 hotel rooms for out-of-town guests. We did a celebration of life in the big room and they put out cheese crackers, meat and drinks. Everyone was so accommodating throughout that whole process. Everybody that came was very happy with their service and with everything that we had wanted. This is my new favorite hotel in the Phoenix area. There is no additional charge for parking, of which there is plenty. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was the pleasant smell. I was greeted immediately. My room was ready with no issues whatsoever. When staying for more than overnight, you are given an option to decline maid service and for every night that you do that they will give you a voucher that can be redeemed for either $5 at the restaurant or at the pantry OR you can redeem it for 250 Starwood/Marriott points. I use the points because they add up and upgrade your guest status. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I know that it is a dog friendly hotel, however If I didn't know I would never know. It was an all around very very good experience. I will stay here on my next visit. No complaints here, drive in early in the AM and had two hiccups that happened was their system was down and the night audit clerk couldn't look up any rooms for me. Luckily I just used the web and made a reservation that way which worked out fine until they requested beds weren't available? So I went with the two full size beds, from Kings. I'm assuming that the ice machines were non op due to COVID and same with the limited breakfast, totally understandable to keep the virus from spreading. We got a good rate of $130/night on Hotwire, but we kind of lost out on location when we rolled the dice because this hotel really isn't convenient to anything except the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. In the end, it met our needs of just needing to a place to crash for two nights after days of drinking beer and watching baseball. The positives are that even though we were close to the airport, we didn't hear one plane or other extraneous noise. The clubhouse to Toka Sticks Golf Course is about a hundred yards away. The rooms were spacious and the entire site was clean. Parking is free, so is the fully functioning Wi-Fi. You'll need to insert your key into the wall to activate the power in the room, but don't forget to pull it out when you leave. Our room didn't receive service during the one day we were there, but it really didn't need it. As stated before, be prepared to drive as there's not much close by. All of the employees we encountered were friendly and overall we were pleased with this hotel. read more

The hotel itself is fine but only two of the employees we interacted with were wearing masks. There are signs up that masks are required and they did not enforce it or wear them themselves. My mom was very disappointed the rooms were not cleaned at least every other day. My mom stayed there for 9 days with her husband and only had sheets changed once after she asked and she ran out of toilet paper twice. After a late arrival due to a 2.5 hour flight delay, we were so happy to be picked up by the shuttle and taken to the hotel. We were welcomed and greeted with smiles as we entered the Four Points by Sheraton. The agent at the reception desk could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. I only stayed here for a night, as I had a very early flight out the next morning, but I thought everything was great. It is on a golf course, so you have a nice view instead of just parking lots. The restaurant is full service and faces the golf course. I did not eat there, but when I looked in there, the food looked good. The room was very nice as well and very quiet. I did not hear anything and my room did face the parking lot. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is about 5 mins away from the airport they do have a shuttle. My only tip is to book online. I was waiting for my flight to leave from Chicago and started looking and found the Sheraton for $70. When I landed and went to the hotel to book, the price was $99. The staff couldn't price match right there, but did suggest to book online using their computers which I did. read more

We chose this hotel as a great affordable SPG chain. It did not disappoint. We drove from California so we were quite tired upon arriving but check in was prompt. Luggage carts were available and the parking lot is right out front of the hotel. Few interactions with the staff, but the front desk operator was friendly and helpful. Would definitely return for another stay. PROS: Very fast check in, hotel is modern and sleek, very clean. The elevators are freezing which is nice considering the area is sweltering. The rooms are big and have great upscale features. Huge clean showers with tall faucets. CONS: The entryway has a very strong cologne smell almost like a middle school boys locker room.
