"The Stratton Half-Brothers Comedy Show" My wife and I went to see the Stratton Half-Brother Comedy show at the Lounge Four Seasons Beaumont Holiday Extravaganza, Theatre. The 4 Brothers were very funny and had a variety of songs they did. They did a great job involving the audience with many of their songs, and comedy that they did. The show lasted an hour and one half and was very funny and with musical entertaining the entire time. They gave the audience the time to think back on some of the songs they were singing, and even allowed the audience time to sing it again with them. Very unusual and very different musical act. My wife and I move in about six months ago. I do not have a single regret about moving here. Actually, each day I am more pleased with the decision we made. Absolutely love my home and community. The community is very quite, peaceful, and secure. Beautiful tree lined streets and landscaping. 3 buildings with high quality amenities. Everything is well maintained and clean. Most neighbors are very friendly, and helpful. The community has basically everything you need, along with numerous activities. City services have been exceptional. We do have an HOA that we have to get authorization for anything we do outside our home, including landscaping. Some things I think should not be required, but they are things that can be advocated for when I get time. read more

I moved into a new home 3.5 years ago. I recently noticed a raised spot under one of my vinyl flooring planks. I contacted the builder, K. Hovnanian and they sent my concern to the people who installed the flooring, Andrew Lauren Interiors. They came out and inspected and decided it was not covered. This has to be an installation issue, which they are supposed to warranty, and the plank has started cracking due to whatever is under it. I am very disappointed and displeased that they refuse to warranty an installation issue. I will be pursuing other avenues if they continue to deny that it is their responsibility. read more

Beautiful grounds but if you don't have a thick skin this isn't for you. If you buy a "view" home get ready to beg (and beg and beg and beg) for rule enforcement or your neighbors' trees will guarantee you will never see a thing. The place has gone downhill. It used to be like a friendly village but now it's a contest to exclude new comers, who we feel sorry for. Cliques are a big deal here. However, if you enjoy diversity, as we do, it is nice, as there is a large gay community, a large Chinese community, and a very large black community. I moved from the Sun Lakes community in Banning to Four seasons because of the draconian HOA at sun lakes... ( Sun Lakes... Beautiful grounds, rotten senile residents, the vast majority that could tick off Jesus!) You cant park in your drive way and god forbid you leave you garage door open even an 1nch.... every year more and more rules making life hell.) Four Seasons offered far better construction, friendly people and great homes sites.... and realistic HOA rules.... There are tons of good restaurants within 3 miles, Palm springs is a easy zip of 25 min Or Marino Valley.... No traffic problems , NO smog and 10-15 degrees cooler than the desert.. Moving in to a younger over 55 crowd rather than trying to deal with 80-90+ at Sun lakes despots Excellent construction, fire protection and paramedic service too ( by the way each house is furnished wit automatic fire sprinklers) and great hospitals... zip to everything from deserts, mountains to national parks... It isnt perfect but Four seasons is the best in the region for over 55.... read more

I have lived here for almost three years. You are seduced by the nice home at a reasonable price. I like the Four Seasons Community, the pool, gym, theater and restaurant. However, once you are finished moving in and decorating you realize you are in the middle of nowhere with no amenities, no stores, no nice restaurants and nothing to do unless you want to drive twenty miles. I have had two occasions to take an issue to the HOA Board. Both times my issues were blown off with flimsy excuses. Two people really rule here. I found that I wasn't really listened to. I also was present when another homeowner brought up a problem with his home. He too was immediately shot down, After these experiences I will never bother to go to them again. I have had a couple issues inside the house, a crack in the fiberglass shower, and the K. Hov person came to look and told me it isn't covered in the home's ten year construction warranty. The fiberglass shower warranty is one year, folks. It would be nice if there was a second restaurant here that remained open late. It would be nice if the lodge would stay open later and if we had a cocktail lounge with entertainment at least on weekends. It is sad that the social activities begin at 5:00 p.m. and end by 8:30 p.m. This is supposed to be an active adult community, not a nursing home. As for my street, it looks like a ghost town at all times. After three years I barely know my neighbors (they keep moving). That said, I love the view of the mountains and the pretty grounds. I love the activities director, Cindy (she listens to people) and everyone at Smitty's. I like living in a senior community, but as a city person I need city activities once outside the gates. BUYER BEWARE! As a Four Seasons, Beaumont, CA homeowner, we've had several repairs made by K. Hovnanian under their one-year guarantee. However, not all "guarantee" repairs are fixed. Some were cancelled by Builder without homeowner knowledge, discussion or sign-off. One repair was acknowledged by Builder in writing as "we will fix it" but then refused to do so. Another was fixed for other homeowners, but not ours, indicating Builder may be "selective" in which guarantee Service Requests are honored and for whom, and which are cancelled. We have lived here almost four years now. The HOA and management company selectively enforce the rules they want to enforce. Always coming up with new rules when they don't enforce the old ones. Now I hear They have Beaumont Police coming to enforce speed limit. If they are going to again selectively enforce certain laws of the road, golf carts need to be ticketed as well, as it is illegal to drive a golf cart in the street, and plenty of golf carts driving down the middle of the road, Now they passed a rule for The holidays that allows grandchildren to use all of our facilities except one pool. At a board meeting residents were out raged and said their displeasure, so as a community we didn't want this but the board and management company obviously snuck this one in. Most of us have grandchildren, but we moved to an adult community to do just that. Live in an adult community. Just like the dog park, a couple years ago we were sent a survey monkey and the property manager said there was a resounding no vote from the residence but two years later now with a new property manager and possibly new board members there's going to be a dog park. If the community voted it in, I'm all in, just like children using our facility for a month, if the community voted it in, I'm in. It seems like more and more major changes are happening without input from the residences, and it is aggravating. read more

My husband and I have lived in Four Seasons for a few years now. I find the area very well planned - everything is so convenient. Three beautiful club houses - big sparkling pools - it's like I'm at a fancy resort. We love all the trees and the walking trails and the mountains surrounding us - just stunning. Having moved from the beach it's nice to wear shorts and experience a bright blue sky. I enjoy the warm summers - seems like there is just enough breeze to keep us comfortable. We have our meals outside on the patio and have wonderful neighbors to share it with. We love it! read more

Be careful. The property management company back stabs its own residents by wasting the time of the Beaumont Police Departments limited force. The company actually has the BPD come in and issue tickets. I agree with speeding tickets but 5 MPH over the posted limit of (30) is a joke. Especially in an area where no one is ever present. People don't walk in the street, they have side walks. So what's the issue. read more

My husband and I as of Dec.3rd have lived here 1 year. You can't take away the beautiful grounds, and the well kept sites that make up Four Seasons. The people are very friendly. Many activities to take part in. Beautiful pool. That being said, It is a retirement community. Very seldom if ever do you see young people, or children. You do on the other hand see fire trucks coming to the aid of the elderly who either have fallen down, or passed away. That is rather depressing to see... often. Most people have dogs they walk, and they too are friendly. The thing missing is this... Yes there is a coffee shop, but it would be nice to have a Club House with a sit down rest. Someplace to so out to "dinner" without leaving the grounds. Also there is a movie theater on the grounds, but old, old, old, old movies are shown. A person can't pick apart this place... but living here this year.... something is missing. I just can't put my finger on it... but something is missing. read more

I have lived in four seasons for about a year and the one thing that really bothers me is that do not enforce the rules. Some of the residents are allowed to leave there trash cans out for weeks, hang things from their porch lights and continually overnight park in the street all the thing that are not allowed in the hoa rules. read more

Hard to believe that some people buy a house in a 55+ community in Beaumont and then go on Yelp to complain that there aren't any children or the amenities of a big city. That said, this is an amazing place. Everything is immaculate. My service manager has fixed every little thing that I have found. He even replaced a light switch that was cracked by my painter and refused to charge me for it. I can't give enough praise to the follow up K Hovnanian builders supply to their buyers. I have lived in several Inland Empire communities including Redlands and the Four Seasons is exceptional. We moved here at age 57. Safe, quiet, serene - yet close to nature, shopping and amenities like a pool, walking trails, gym, etc. Our lives are full with our work, our community service, our educational pursuits. For the second half of life anything you could imagine is close: Loma Linda University Healthcare is a half hour down the road, UCR extension educational programs are 30 minutes down the road, the McCallum theatre in Palm Springs is close, if you crave the atmosphere from your hippy days Idyllwild is 40 minutes away....and when you get back home, you're in tranquility once again. Frankly, for a southern California community close to it all for the ROI cost wise, this is hard to beat. read more

We had the opportunity to stay at the four seasons and the holiday express in Beaumont. We stayed 10 days at the four seasons and 7 at the holiday express. So we had the opportunity to compare the two. We liked the holiday express better if the two. Service is better, rooms cleaned better and staff friendlier. So if we we were to recommend one over the other to friends, family etc it would have to be the holiday express. We had a house fire that left us unable to stay in our home. We are still out of our home and living in a rental until ours is repaired. All is fine we we're blessed, safe and have our pet's. Since we live in the town we had no reason to stay in one but, now if someone asks us we can tell them which one we would choose. read more
