I have been here about 14 years.,and very pleased with being here...I really have had no problems that were not handled immediately. The management team Is very quick to listen ..and handle any issues a resident has presented to them . Glory the manager goes out of her way to handle any issues presented to her Rick who takes care of maintenance has always been prompt and helpful if a problem arises. This is a place with 45 units, but the two of them manage to Cover everything. The residents here are very nice, and many friendships are developed here. I really only have positive things to say. Happy to be here. And part of the group. If you are thinking of Making a change as to where you are going Live.. come by and take a look. You will find some very nice people to talk to. I've been living at GVV for over a year. It's a great place to be. Like a big family always looking out for each other. The monthly birthday parties and dinners are fun. The manager and maintenance man are both awesome. They really care about the residents and attend to the building like it's their own. No leaky faucets or dirty air filters. Nice patio with bbqs and access to the Community Garden (awesome if you're a gardener). read more

AGE 55+ CAREFREE, INDEPENDENT LIVING! I am a 5 yr resident. Everyone is so friendly. Our manager, Glory, is so knowledgeable about everything. She goes above and beyond her job for the tenants. She communicates excellent with Rick who keeps our building well maintained, secure and clean. They receive an A+ rating from me. About 20% of the tenants hold full-time jobs. Other tenants work part-time or volunteer. For those intrested in living at Green Valley Village and approaching age 55, you can add your name to the 2-3 year wait list. There is gated parking for additional security of your vehicle. Stroll up the street to great concerts and musicals at the Performing Arts Center, restaurants. festivals, wine tasting, and antiques.You can walk 3,000- 7,000 steps daily and get your exercise around the building. The outdoor incline is perfect for cardiovascular health. There is a beautiful courtyard and raised garden beds for our organic gardening use. There are CERT trained residents living in the building. Glory does a great job of keeping the tenants well informed of local events and updates for GVV. She lives on site and is very personable. I am a 4 year resident of Green Valley Village. Glory is a great manager who lives on site. She is very personable. Rick, our maintenance man is excellent. Brewciapa, a brewery, is just down the street as are wine tasting establishments. There is a Senior Center within walking distance and has parties once a month, classes and all sorts of crafts. Its a lot of fun. Many people who live here have jobs. Walk up the street for pizza or ice cream and listen to a band playing at one of the many events. It is an active community of independent residents. Come and take a look at GVV and add your name to the wait list. read more

Green Valley Village is my home. I've been here for 3 years. The people are very friendly and we all look out for one another. We have a management team that is great and they are very interactive with the residents. Our Manager Glory is totally involved for this is her home too. She's a great asset to all of us. I treat her like a daughter. Our Maintence man is Rick . The best since I've been here and we've had three. Rick is a Godly man and is very courteous to us all. Of all the places I've lived in the past , this is the best for seniors. So many activities. My 102 yr old mother , used to tell me , it's a great place you live Kathy . They do so much for you all. We have a great garden ,. Birthdays party's every month. Celebrate every major holiday with food. Thank you Glory. And have different companies come out to show us ways to better our lives. I moved into Green Valley when it first opened in 2012. I am still living here and enjoy living in Yucaipa. Everyone at Green Valley is friendly and help each other out. Its like we are one big family. We celebrate birthdays, and have pot luck's for all to enjoy. Glory is a wonderful manager and our maintenance man Rick is the best. One thing I love is I have four grandkids nearby and Green Valley encourages us to have our grandkids here. Mine come quite often. Being located where we are, we are close to parks, grocery stores are near by, there are fitness gyms close by those who like working out. We have some of the best antique stores in town. Restaurants for anyones palate. Homemade chocolate truffles, old fashion candy store, ice cream and yogurt stores nearby for those with a sweet tooth. Green Valley Village is close to everything. Pets are welcomed. If you enjoy the snow Big Bear is just over an hour away for play or skiing. Stop in, take a look around and see what we see, home. read more

I am an original resident of the Green Valley Village apartments located on Yucaipa Blvd. in Yucaipa CA. The apartments are for independently living active people 55 and older. There are many enjoyable activities provided by the manager, Glory and the maintenance man Rick. There are potlucks with reviews and explorations of countries throughout the world and samplings of those nation's cuisines. There is a community room where many residents gather to enjoy television shows and work and surf the internet provided by the management. Nearby there are many local businesses to enjoy including an ice cream store, a pizza shop, several restaurants, a brewery, a wine tasting shop, a barbershop,antique stores and the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center. All within walking distance! There are also several gyms close by to help keep you fit. The area is within 20 to45 minutes of the Oak Glen Apple orchards, Big Bear Lake, Morongo Casino and Palm Springs. For those who would like to continue their education the wonderful Crafton Hills College is only ten minutes away!
