My first time staying at four seasons. It was as nice as its reputation. You step in and it smells and feels like a luxury hotel. They upgraded my room to an arch view which made our stay even better. The rooms are spacious. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. I was able to make the room close to pitch black which is important to me and the rooms weren't noisy in any way. House keeping is fantastic. They cleaned and tidied up our room. The hotel pool is fantastic. I barely wanted to leave! The pool service was excellent. They come by often and set up your chair with towels. There's food and drink for purchase. There's a wading area, hot tub, and heated pool. I was here on a Friday and Saturday. It was busy but not over crowded. read more

The worst establishment I've ever visited to my life. One of the workers were racist, they kept moving us everywhere, kicked us out for no reason, forced us to pay a 5% additional takeout fee, dropped our food, didn't even say sorry for anything either, and it's just absolutely insane. The service was excellent at the Four Seasons. They were extremely professional, kind, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere is hard because it's in downtown st Louis so the only really remarkable thing to look at is the arch. The sounds weren't so soothing out by the pool as you could hear the street below. The speakers were super faint, they could benefit from new ones. The spa was very nice. We got massages and relaxed in the reflection room. The spa was clean and had nice amenities. The food was good, we got a summer salad and hummus plate, both were very fresh and tasty. They serve them on plastic plates by the pool so they can come pick them back up easy, which was awesome. read more

We arrived at the Four Seasons after a fine dinner with my brother Thomas, my Niece, Beverly and I. My niece dropped us off at the front door. We did not utilize the Valet for parking but they were ever so kind holding the doors open for us. We went to the front desk. Ms YESHE BUNTOWIJAYA greeted us warmly. She introduced us to the night Manager Mr Luke Hutton. The scooters we rented were already there and powered up for us. It is the only way to get around the large Hotel. Mr Luke recognized the lost look in my eyes when he mentioned getting off on the 8 th floor to go around to another elevator to get to the 9th floor. He stepped right up to take us to our luxurious room. A bell hop already had our luggage from our nieces car and going upstairs with them. Once at our most luxurious room, Luke took time to give us a tour. It was so big I could get lost walking around the bed. Rooms behind and around rooms. I asked Bev if we had a GPS on our scooters to find the Onder Christmas Party. Once we settled in it was quite easy to find our way. The bell hop delivered our bags while we were still having the tour. This was the first time I felt such a respect when I had not earned it yet. Kindness given is easy for kindness returned. We looked around the hotel finding the restaurant for breakfast, and the Spa as well as the ball room. Bev was exhausted from the travel. She kicked off her shoes and laid on top of the bed. She was out like a light. I relaxed writing notes then went to get ready for Bed. I washed up in a bathroom that was perfect for the handicap. I put on a very thick robe the hotel provides. The Bed was wonderful, perfect in every way. Sleep must have been fantastic if I judge by my bed head ...flat in one place. We woke up knowing it was the day of the party. A great Hot shower! A fast dress for a " ...let's explore the hotel more..."outfit! And off we went for a relaxing breakfast. Once in Gordon Ramsey restaurant we were overwhelmed. Juljan was our server and was absolutely professional ,friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Daniel was so very kind welcoming us here. She knew I loved the orange juice and got me a second one. Bev was thrilled with the breakfast. She could only eat a bit of it. I loved the Honey on toast. Hope stopped by our table to join in the laughter and smiles. She let us know she would be at the party that night. Being Treated with such respect and kindness kept the smile on my face our whole stay! After breakfast we went to the ball room flood to pre look how it was laid out. Where to go and if there is room. My ADHD kicks in when there is an unknown. It was being prepared for the party so we did not stay long but long enough to know we were informed a special treat. We then explored the Spa. Delaney was on duty and welcomed us like we were long time friends , respectful and knowledgeable all at once. Bev was looking for something. I wandered. I found a lavender/Eucalyptus spray that was heavenly. Bev saw a tote she really wanted. We purchased both items. Delaney showed us the exercise room and then the elevator to go back to our room. We noticed a light in the living room was not working so we called for help. I looked at the plug, the cord and I could see nothing. I forgot his name. Please look it up and thank him for us. Once at the Party on the 6th floor Hope saw us and came right over to us to say hello. That was so nice to remember us and go out of her way to say hi. I would love to give praises to the following. Thank you for putting in this pop up Christmas event tonight! Having it at the hotel provided a giant parking lot, and elevators that brought us to floor 8 and we found our way to the top golf swing suite. We were greeted kindly and sat prompted at a long table with another couple. The atmosphere was decorated and calm. Christmas music and videos for entertainment with the motion Christmas scenes playing made the space comfortable to enjoy cocktails with the girls. We each has a drink and I chose the vodka Tipsy Reindeer. Not disappointed at ALL and a beautiful display of an ornament for the rain deer nose. A $22.00 drink but completely worth it. I booked a bachelorette experience all day at the Four Seasons and it was everything we hoped it would be and more! We started with massage packages at the spa - all the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. We really felt like royalty in and out of our services. Clean towels and robes everywhere - we saw the staff working hard to keep the hampers empty (there was a lot of guests!) and it was perfectly kept all day. I've never had a pedicure experience like theirs before - from the zero gravity to the spa music headphones, it was the most relaxing and enjoyable pedicure I've ever had. I highly recommend! Massages were great. Amenities were never too busy. Steam room was very nice. The locker rooms had a nice area with 4 mirrored (3 sinks) vanities that allowed our group to get ready without feeling cramped. After the spa, we did an hour of top golf upstairs and then dinner at the chef's table at Ramsay's Kitchen. Everything was phenomenal. Staff was 100% the best people they could've hired- everyone was so kind and happy to help. We will definitely come back again for future events! read more

Have stayed here many times before and never had a problem. I forgot name Brand personal items and I got a response back from security of lost and found that they were going to check with housekeeping/maid and that they would reach out. That did not happen and then when I called again after not getting a response, I was finally told that the maid claims there was nothing in the room left at all. Sad to say we will not be staying here anymore. Also this city has not changed much and I do not feel safe walking around outside or inside of the hotel. I ran into a few shady people and I was not happy with the overall experience. read more

Hello luxury! This is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in the US. The last hotel I stayed in only offered housekeeping every other night and here, they offered it twice daily housekeeping. Every member of the staff was incredible and super nice. Bath lovers can take a lovely soak in the massive and deep tub with the complementary effervescent cube made by L'Occitane. All their bathroom products are L'Occitane which felt really fancy. Gym goers are in for a treat. So many machines for both cardio and strength. There's even a full squat rack, apples, and refreshingly chilled minty towels. Don't even get me started on the bed, it was very comfortable and I didn't want to leave for my 8am meetings. It's helpful that there's a restaurant on the 8th floor with a gorgeous view. Robes, slippers, coffee, and water are all included. There is a minibar for payment and room service with offerings from Ramsay's Kitchen just downstairs. read more

This was my first visit to this Four Seasons. It was a short stay, but relaxing nonetheless. Thoughts: Service deserves 5 stars. Very attentive. We complained to the manager. They did switch us to a better room but the staff were not that friendly compared to every single FS we've tried. The coffee score was great 5/5. This is such a beautiful hotel. Service was great checking into the hotel. The elevator situation can be confusing if you are not familiar. You check in on floor one, then take the elevator to i believe floor 8. You have to get off and go around to the second set of elevators to get to your room. Because of the resturaunt I'm sure this adds to the security of your room. The room was very comfortable and luxurious. Beautiful view of the Gateway Arch and city lights that gleam through the glass when the sun goes down. That might bother some, for me its very comforting. We were able to catch breakfast in the hotel as well which is another bonus of the stay. read more

I was a returning customer and to my surprise the restaurant I wanted to visit had been replaced with something else. The drinks at new location were decent, but I feel the food could improve just a notch to match the prestige of the hotel brand. Beautiful property, great people all around. Lisa and Kelly were fab. Property is well-maintained and so nice. Rooms are clean and lush as you would expect. Only disappointment is that they are currently remodeling, so the larger, typical Four Seasons-style bar was not there. There is a mini one in its place. It was still a fun area to enjoy a beverage. The remaining bar area was reserved for a private event one day, so we weren't able to fully hang out there but the Mississippi pop-up restaurant was available. We would stay here again! read more

Overall it was a great hotel if you are in the St. Louis area. I did like the level of security entering the floors. The Cinder Restaurant had friendly staff and a great ambiance. If you want to grab a quick snack or dinner or just take in the downtown views this is a great option. I did order the broccolini and mussels very good flavoring. There is a casino attached to the hotel but I did not get a chance to go while there. The rooms were also clean just a few minor stains on my pillow case and bed spread. They enter your room at 9pm every night and help themselves to your personal belongings. I came back to find items stolen by housekeeping. They said they have 9pm turndown service and will enter unless you ask otherwise but they don't disclose ahead of time upon checkin. They took it upon themselves to steal my tea bags, my cream, my honey, my ketchup, my hot sauce, all that had come with my breakfast from yesterday. 9pm is way too late for turndown service. Many people are undressed or asleep at that time. They don't seem to have Do not disturb signs, or they are hidden because they apparently want an excuse to ransack your room and belongings. I attempted to call corporate office in Toronto but they do not want to speak. They hung on me repeatedly. Then they called me from Ontario pretending to be "the phone company" saying my phone number was blocked. After I asked what phone company, they asked why I want to know and I stated because I think they are lying. Then a second man came on the line saying they were Four Seasons. They claimed corporate office would call me but that hasn't happened. Also, the Customer Service line promised a call back from corporate office that hasn't arrived. Also, the Toronto Four Seasons promised a call back from corporate office that hasn't arrived. How many times must they lie, steal, avoid, and impersonate? They refused to provide any compensation despite invading my privacy, my present occupancy, my trust, and my right to quiet enjoyment. I have reported theft to St. Louis PD. Four Seasons cannot be trusted, they are cleary Rotten to the core, not just this property but the whole company. Spending tens of thousands of dollars across multiple properties does not even cause them to care. Amazingly they don't care about customers or money. Not sure why they exist. Update: Corporate office refuses to provide compensation and believes they have the right to take my belongings at whim. See you in Court. read more

Their Junior and presidential suites are more recently remodeled and have exceptional views of the topographical assets St Louis has to offer. The staff is amazing, restaurants to be expected with the four seasons, and so too is their spa (I just left a review on the spot in case you are seeking further advice). They are dog friendly like every luxury chain hotel, and inclusive for their lgbt, disabled, and racially diverse clientele. If you enjoy gambling they're also attached to a casino, and within close proximity of pretty much every major attraction in downtown St louis. The only drawback is if you need any sort of shopping while staying at the hotel, you're going to have to send out that request because there's nothing much to speak of on premises. And I know that the news reports about high crime in downtown St louis, but you can be assured that this hotel has not only ample security but is architecturally considerate of that with their design (you'll know what I mean once you stay there). Oh, and the other reason that I enjoy this property is like most luxury chain establishments they offer 24-hour room service for those late night delectables and, depending upon your accommodation, staff focused exclusively on providing you the most memorable stay possible. Generally speaking, they managed to meet this guest's expectations. read more

Stayed at this hotel for my birthday and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! This is definitely a luxury hotel. As soon as we walked in it was giving luxury all the way. As we checked in we were greeted with hot towels. The staff was so friendly and very professional. The hotel atmosphere was so beautiful! We walked in our room and they had a little birthday cake for me which was so nice and special. Our room was spectacular and OMG the bed!!! The best sleep I've had in years!! The bed was so comfortable you just sunk into it like sleeping on a cloud. The view from our room was really nice. We spent some time in the pool and jacuzzi. The pool area is so beautiful, I felt like I was at a resort. The pool is heated so even though it was cool outside we still swam, and it was also a salt water pool. From everything from the Silent Auction. To the food to the Dancing to the Live Auction bidding.. it was a fantastic time. The Theme was 70's Disco so you had some pretty great get ups. Service was great, room was great, proximity to 24-hr entertainment was great. My only complaint was somewhat small. Check-in: Pulled up to the front door w/ overhead heaters and valet said leave your bags where they are and sent us in to registration. By the time we finished registration and got up to the room, bell service was getting off the elevator and coming down the hallway. Upon delivery, he rang the doorbell, and upon entering, he left the cooler up front and stored the luggage away in the closet. Room: Small entrance w/ half bath on left, straight ahead through living room, there was a view of the Arch through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Large TV on the left across from the sofa, complete with Bose surround sound. A round table w/ 4 chairs, a desk and roller chair, stocked fridge and pantry. We also had a mini fridge waiting for us since we had requested it. A bucket of ice had been requested, and although we called, it was already on its way. TV had standard channels including HBO, On-Demand movies (the ones that are JUST about to hit DVD) were $19.99 + tax. Couldn't view restaurant menus on the TV, but there was an in-room service menu available. Into the bedroom, there was a stand-alone chaise lounge by the floor-to-ceiling windows, again with a view of the Arch, a plush king bed w/ slippers next to it, another TV same size as the living room, a dresser. Then small hallway w/ sitting table (powder area) w/ a walk-in closet to the right and a large bathroom on the left. Bathroom included a rainfall shower, a separate room for the toilet, TV in the mirror, a large soaking tub w/ a shower head. There were even bath salts and a loofah sponge placed on the bath caddy and two plush robes hanging on hooks. Vanity includes the L'Occitane toiletries, cotton rounds, cotton swabs (not sure if they were Q-tip brand). The mirror was tall and every smudge had been buffed out. Not a thing out of place. In-room dining included a selection from the Cinder House restaurant. Decent selections w/ something available at almost every hour. I think it was an 18% gratuity fee and a $5 delivery charge. Upon leaving, we dropped the bags at the front desk to go have lunch. When we returned, we handed over the valet and bell tickets, but they had already packed the car w/ our belongings, and we were ready to go in minutes. My small complaint: Upon previous visits, I had been greeted w/ a message in candy, cookies, "niceties." I don't know if it was because we had been offered a discounted upgrade to a suite, but we definitely did not have this nice little greeting upon entering the room. What a bummer! We recently stayed here for our anniversary as a "staycation." While we had hoped to get out of town, COVID happened so we decided to splurge on the Four Seasons. We are happy we did! Parking tip - you can self-park for free in the garage. The garage is shared with the casino and not marked as well for the hotel, but there is an elevator that goes right to the lobby. They have been running some deals lately, so check their website for offers. We got a free upgrade. Check in was seamless - they also have an app that you can use to check in. The room was great! The bed was SO comfortable. The bathrooms here are HUGE. They have a giant soaking tub, rain shower head, a TV in the mirror, and a toilet room with a separate door for extra privacy. Since we were staying during the time of COVID, we wanted to keep our distance from other guests. The amenities that we took advantage of were: - Had drinks and apps on the terrace outside Cinder House - everything is spaced out, fire pit lit, great views. - Went to the hot tub and pool at night - no one was there. The pool is the same temp as the hot tub in winter, and is open year round. It was a beautiful city view and very refreshing! - Ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan on making it a regular getaway! read more

It's not as fancy as some of the Four Seasons hotels and for that I would say it is a 4-star (the hotel is also inside a gross casino building) but overall it is very nice. I reserved a "suite" but what the hotel calls a suite is merely a room so it's a bit fudgy how they describe and price for this. This is not a suite but a mere room. Very odd marketing--like we won't realize? False and misleading for sure. The food was not as good as many Four Seasons and lacking options. read more

We stayed here for this past Memorial day and it was very nice. I mean, what do you expect? You are at the 4 seasons!?! So, pinch yourself and settle back for luxury at its finest. We were set up with a nice suite that had two huge windows overlooking the Mississippi. Very modern room with a lounge area, office area and huge plasma TV. There was tons of storage space throughout our suite. The bathroom was all marble and granite with a separate overhead shower and a sunken tub. The bathroom even had a TV that was built in to the mirror, never seen that before. The lobby is where you'll grab your coffee in the morning and maybe drinks. The patio has a huge space that has a very nice pool and cabana set up that overlooks the Arch. Location however, was right next to a casino. Not to sound like a snob, but I stay at the 4 seasons to avoid that kind of riff raff. A sixty year old guy chomping on the end of his cigar wearing an Ed Hardy tshirt and jeans certainly ruins a romantic meal. I also smelled smoking on our floor, which certainly should not happen for what you pay a night. It also got loud outside as people cruised around the casino throughout the wee hours. Don't get me wrong. I love the 4 Seasons, but they lose a star for location. read more

My first time staying at a Four Seasons and it wasn't exactly what I expected. I hoped for more and got less. I'm not a hotel snob, but when you hear "Four Seasons" you expect luxury all the way. The service and amenities are probably exemplary. I have to say that the service really was. From the valet to the front desk, the workers were all friendly and went above and beyond what other hotels would have. In terms of amenities, they were lacking. This hotel is really small. I mean they had their pool and luxurious touches in the hotel room, but there was really only one communal floor for guests to enjoy the view. It also included the only restaurant as well. The front desk is basically that. It is only a desk with no grand lobby and then you have to go up two elevators to get to the hotel rooms. The rooms were spacious and felt luxurious with its Samsung TV and automated light switches. My favorite part of the room was the bed. One of the best mattresses I've ever slept on. I even inquired about it with the people at the front desk. My next one is going to be one of those. The location is fine if you are totally into gambling. You are right next door to the casino, but when you look out the window at night, the area looks pretty sketchy. In order to get to the casino, you have to go down two elevators and then walk down a few flights of stairs and through several doors. I wouldn't feel safe going back to my room at night if I were to take that route, especially if you have a lot of winnings. No real security. This hotel is the nicest one that is connected to the casino, but I'm pretty sure that there are other Four Season hotels that give you more bang for your buck. read more

Had a fabulous stay here a few weeks ago! The rooms were very nice. I had a corner room with a view. The bed was comfy, and the unit was very clean. I brought my two kids with me and they were very accommodating. They provided a crib for jr. And bath amenities them. They even put a cute kids robe and slippers in the room for my daughter. We ordered room service which was incredibly fast. I will say that the food is a little lack luster but the service was fabulous. Everyone was accommodating and kind. I give this hotel a 4 star however because the pool was a bit nightmarish. We made reservations for a cabana. When we got there we were told that they had never received a reservation... Even though half the cabanas were open, it took them about 15 minutes to get the cabana set up for us. Once we got inside our cabana we were not impressed. It was small, crowded, and rather filthy (pics included). I get that most people won't come here to access the pool but daaaayaaam have some pride. read more
