The staff was wonderful, especially Fernando, our local ambassador. He was amazing, attentive, and extremely responsive throughout our stay, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We visited in September during hurricane season, so the resort was quiet and relaxing. There was plenty of space around the pool, and we never had trouble finding available seating. The rooms don't seem very soundproof. We could hear quite a bit from outside as well as from neighboring rooms at night. It made it a little tough to get a solid night's sleep. As my sister Luch would say, everything was beyond stat! I don't know how to express just how wonderful this resort was. And the "Boutique" is the "Adults Only" part of the Grand Velas complex. The regular Grand Velas Los Cabos is a haven for families with everything that a kid could imagine. After trying two different car seats and multiple installations, the seat still did not appear to be installed properly. This was especially surprising given all the positive reviews we had read before booking. When a family specifically requests a car seat, having one available and properly installed should be something they can rely on, especially for an infant. If you're traveling with a baby or young child, I would strongly recommend confirming and reconfirming with the company before BOTH your arrival and departure transfers that the requested car seat will actually be in the vehicle.
