Great! What Came here with my family during our holidays trip to London. After numerous searches, this was one of the top spots for authentic cantonese food. We got: - the roast duck - this was very good compared to the one in our local city (Orlando FL). The only think I didn't like is that they put the sauce on the duck which was more of a sweet based sauce, but it was still good - Singapore Rice noodles - This was overall a good dish, a bit spicy. I felt like the noodles were not tossed thoroughly so the sauce was too concentrated in some spots. - Stir fried veggies - This was very good, no complains - salt pepper squid - this was very disappointing. I did not like this at all Environment Located in the heart of the chinatown area. This is a relatively small location with a number of tables inside. I would say the settle is very casual. Niceness of the staff Nice staff. They work pretty quick, though the food came in a bit late, they gave us the tea free Dollar It was London price I guess. But well worth Yes I would
Really did not enjoy the service here. The aggressive hustler outside was ironically the friendliest part of this experience. We were the only group inside, there were 2 parties seated outside... essentially it was empty. Once seated, our older waitress was annoyed by basic questions (like how the meat was cooked--fried or sautéed?) and gave condescending answers. Just very short and curt. Food came out fast, but felt overpriced for what it was. Was a bit salty. They even skimped out on rice...
We were visiting London from the States. Saw from a lot of online reviews and heard from some friend to come here and try the duck! Was here in Chinatown at 10pm on a Tuesday night. At first they told us that they were out of duck, but then said they would go check again. Luckily there was one last duck! Got the boneless duck and I'm amazed that it really was boneless. The duck was superb, super juicy and tender. And the sauce, OMG! I don't know what kind of crack they put in it, but it was fantastic. I can say this with full confidence. This was the best duck that I've ever ever had in my entire life!! Go here and get the duck. Period.
I would pass, we were a bit disappointed in general... while the meats were very good, we thought it was a bit pricey. There were so many places to choose from, we were hungry & decided on the first recommended name in a recent article..Ironically, we were staying in the Bayswater area & it would have been great to try Four Seasons there. We did enjoy the 3 meats plate..Char Siu, Duck & Spareribs..but it absolutely was not a generous portion for the price. Maybe if you don't come from a city with an expansive amount of Chinese food..otherwise, I'd do a bit more research. Definitely $$$
My partner and I had a relatively light meal here, ordering some Beijing Roast Duck mainly, and my partner got the fish ball soup. She had good comments about the fish ball soup, while I felt like the roast duck was pretty up to standards. Specifically, even though the roast duck wasn't sent to our table presented to us, it was flavorful, oily, and made my stomach feel sick after having some bites (which was a good thing because roast duck is supposed to do that to you). I felt like having the same type of duck when I had it at home in China, so that was cool. In terms of service, it was meh, but that wouldn't deter me from giving this place a 4 because Chinese restaurants all over the world are not known for exemplary service, and food matters the most. I have also heard good things about some of their other meat dishes, and amongst a bunch of food places in Chinatown which really can be a hit or miss, I think this place is worth a shot. But remember, you don't come here for the service, but food only.
This place is located on Chinatown. On the face book group this place kept coming up. The price is a little up their but the portion are Huge. I barely made a dent on my chicken curry because it so much. My mother order the sweet and sour chicken. She originally BBQ pork but they ran out and we got there around 4;30 to eat. A good mixture of Asians, British Asian, black & white British people were dining there. The phone kept ring off the hook for advance dinner reservations & orders for take out If I ever come back to London I wouldn't mine coming back for lunch.
A very popular eatery in Chinatown; there is always a line whether to eat in or to take out food. The place was packed. I opted to start for the comforting Wonton Soup. Clear broth with minced Green Onions and 4-5 Wontons filled with Shrimp & Pork? Nice on a cool Evening. Two Combination Meat with Rice. I chose Crispy Pork Belly & Soya Chicken. Delicious and a generous serving that I took back to my place for later on. Lychee in Iced syrup for dessert was refreshing. Everything was washed down with a Fanta. Pops are much nicer in the UK.
We stopped in on a whim. We were welcomed in promptly and appreciated the cool air conditioning on a 90 degree day. We had the Chinese spinach with garlic sauce and the 3 meat combination over rice. I detected a little sand/grit in the spinach which is always off putting. The hot tea was good and soothing. The total bill was $39.95 and included a 12.50 % discretionary service charge. We left the fee bc the server were nice overall and hard working. When we left the line to get in was quite long.
Came across this place on a couple lists of the best Chinese restaurants in London, with the roast duck being the main draw. I wanted the duck but was also curious about the pork options, too. I therefore ordered a three-meat combo with the duck, pork belly and bbq pork. If Arby's "has the meats" in the US, this place certainly has the meats in London's Chinatown! Wow were they good. My favorite was actually the pork belly; the crust was so crispy and flavorful. The Chinese broccoli (as it was listed on my receipt) was also very good. On the food alone, I would give this place five stars. However, although I knew the service here wouldn't be great, it was still lackluster relative to the price I paid. For one, the server initially brought me red wine, even though he clarified I wanted white wine when I asked for chardonnay. For two, people seated after me had their orders taken before me. I've grown accustomed to during my travels as a lone, Black diner...but still. And, as stated, the prices were definitely on the high side. The wine wasn't good at all but £5.80 was an okay price. The meats alone were about £18, and came with a bowl of white rice. Considering the combo included duck and it was all tasty, I feel this, too, was a fair price. The broccoli, however, was £13, which is the price of an entree in its own right, and while the broccoli was good, it was just stir-fried in garlic sauce. Nothing fancy. To me, that's what pushed the bill from being reasonable to cost-prohibitive. With the service charge (which I realize is discretionary and I have no qualms even paying for mediocre service), this was a £47 for a meal that was really good but not life-changing. I imagine the cost would be more palatable for folks who dine together and can split their meals. I wouldn't come back alone but definitely would with friends or family.

I asked my friend who's dad eats there all the time, and she told me that he goes to whichever one has the longest line. GREAT ADVICE! This one had a pretty long line at opening so we went here. For three people, we ordered a full duck, half a soy sauce chicken (they call it soya sauce chicken in the UK), charsui, and garlic Chinese spinach. everything was very fresh and tasty. Despite eating at La Tour D'ARGENT in Paris on this trip, this was pretty damn good duck. love that it was boneless.
My 800th review!!!! And 1st-ish of 2026 hehe 4.5 stars rounding down! I thought higher but Fiance thinks lower so we will meet in the middle haha Roasted Duck-- I thought this was tasty and full of flavor, paired well with my noodle soup Crispy Pork Belly-- good and crispy, but Fiance thought it could use more flavor Egg Noodle Soup-- it hit the spot because it was freezing outside lol but i believe it was dry egg noodle vs fresh egg noodle that was used Stir-fry vegetables-- good but also a bit oily House Fried Rice -- Fiance's favorite dish So happy this time around we got to try Four Seasons, go early beause the restaurant will quickly fill up around lunch time! read more
We explored Chinatown before hitting the theater district adjacent to see a show. In the mood for a great Chinese meal, all (online) recommendations seemed to point to Four Seasons as a great choice. As we walked by an employee flagged us down and quickly seated us. There's a "Little Four Seasons" connected to the standard "Four Seasons" and an upstairs that (maybe?) encompasses both-- as far as I can tell the same menu and service applies to both/all. A poster with a review from the London Financial Times points to their roast duck as "the best in the world"-- I am by no means qualified to know if that is true but I ordered the 3 meat option with duck, pork belly, and barbecue chicken and found the duck to be delicious (as were the other meats). The rice is very good, not greasy at all. My wife had chicken and rice, and her chicken was a lighter grilled chicken that was also good. We had an order of the pork dumplings which were also great. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Prices fair. read more

Decent spot for authentic Chinese food in Chinatown, although nothing particularly stood out to me. Roast duck - This is their famous dish, so I of course had to try it out. It was nice that they offered to debone the duck, which is something I don't think I've seen before. The duck was simple yet good. The meat was nice and tender, and the sauce added some moderate flavor. I don't think it was truly that much better than other roast duck that I've had though. Crispy noodles with prawns - This is a classic Cantonese dish that they made pretty well, but still nothing that special. Pork stomach and chicken soup - Personally, I was not a big fan of this dish (mainly because of the pork stomach), maybe because of my more western palate and not due to the quality of the dish. The fact that they offer dishes like this though does show that this is a very authentic restaurant. The restaurant is split into two sides, with Four Seasons on one side and Little Four Seasons on the other (they seem to be basically the same thing though). The interior feels like an ordinary Chinese restaurant with a moderate amount of seating. There can be a moderate wait sometimes depending on the time of day. The staff were attentive and friendly. The service speed was pretty quick. Overall, while the food at Four Seasons is decent and certainly very authentic, it didn't really stand out to me that much (and the prices are slightly higher than I would have expected at 74 GBP for these 3 dishes), so it's more of a 3.5 star place to me. read more

This place is packed, the service is amazing even they are so busy. Their food is real Chinese and tastes so good. The ambiance is actual and authentic. read more

Oh my this place is good! So much food for the BSP! ( British Sterling Pound). My cousins took me here right after long day of shopping, so we were starved! We ordered two different cooking styles of duck: roasted and peking, I will Definitely go back when I'm back in London! read more

This was excellent. We came with a group of three and got the Cantonese roast duck, fried rice, prawn dumplings, morning glory, fried prawns, and chicken in black bean sauce. The duck was amazing, even though I generally prefer other types of duck preps. The morning glory was surprisingly great (not usually my thing), and the fried prawns may have actually been the best thing on the table. read more

This restaurant was recommended to me when I was planning to come to London. I was told to order the Peking duck, which I had not had since being in Beijing several years ago. I ordered the boneless Special Roasted Duck Cantonese Style. It was tender with a little crisp and the sauce was perfect to pour over rice. Looking forward to trying more dishes in the future. read more

My family and I decided to dine at Four Seasons on our last night in London. I'm so glad we did! I am also so thankful we got in--there was a very long line to get in, which speaks of their outstanding reputation. We were seated by the nicest man--Ricky, aka King Lollipop. When we got in, we had the most delicious dinner! We had the Roasted Duck, Roasted Pork belly, Chicken with Cashews, Stir fried Ho Fun, egg fried rice, fried prawn toast, and dumplings. Everything was well prepared and fresh! We will definitely come back when we make it back to London! Thank you, Four Seasons, for making our last night in London so special! read more

Solid Hong Kong BBQ--see for yourself by walking the Chinatown restaurants and browse the windows. You will not see juicier, more caramelized meat I ordered the 3 meat combo of boneless duck, charsiu, and siewyoke. All spot on. Also order some doumiao vegetable which was also well prepared. The dry prawn dumpling arrived with tired dumplings. Maybe they were held and reheated. Otherwise, a heavy hitting showcase of what Hong Kong BBQ should be. read more

I am debating between 3 and 4 stars for this one. We were told this is the best Chinese (old school Cantonese/HK style Chinese) in town, and maybe it is - maybe it's not. We ordered a plate of mixed roast meats (char siu, pork belly and duck), morning glory, fried ho fun with beef and beef with cashew. The char siu was disappointing. Too lean and too dry. The pork belly was ok. The pork skin didn't get the respect it deserved. The roast duck was good though - as it should be, but we got a few boring pieces from the duck on our mixed plate. The plate was overall an ok experience. Could definitely be better. Morning glory was flavorful but too salty. They clearly dropped the spoon with msg in the wok when they prepared this one. Beef cashew was fine - nothing wow here. Ho fun with beef was good enough. They're a bit thrifty with the portion size. Other than that, it was a fair dish. (It is a hard one to cook well) Finally, and what is definitely pulling the rating down. £4 for a bowl of plain rice ladies and gentlemen! I reckon inflation is biting, but that price for a bowl of plain rice is borderline robbery... Ok, it's a 3-star despite all the "good" reviews. We visited in April 2023. read more

This is a small shop located across Bubblewrap and every time we walked by, their were little to no customers around. I personally feel like this place is more authentic than the other places on Chinatown which may account for why it lacks popularity. The person who served us was relatively polite and nice but one of the ladies working was pretty rude to us. We ordered beef noodle soup, fried rice, Chinese spinach, and seafood soup. The fried rice was good as was the spinach. The noodle soups were just ok and were not anything special. Overall, this was a subpar place and I probably wouldn't go to it again. It wasn't awful but it wasn't great. read more
They got 4 restaurants in the same area of chinatown imagine how crowded this place is. They have opened for so long and has been popular for so long but i guess the hype is not real, They are just basic chinese food. Tried the duck too forgot to take photo but its okay too. Recommended to try though. read more

Very poor service attitude. Once I mentioned my friend is going to be late for about twenty minute, the waiter exclaimed exaggeratedly: "20 minute? How can we do business if we have to wait every table for such a long time like you! Our table rotation rate is very high" stuff like that. In fact, when I took my order, by the time my friend arrived, not all the order has been served yet. And the the restaurant is not even FULL! Also, when they served Won Ton noodle, I see something really disgusting in it. They just took it back without any apology. Ridiculous. I gave one star because it the minimum not because they deserve any of the stars. read more

I just had dinner with the family here at the Four Seasons for Mother's Day. So first of all, I want to apologize to my mom for taking her here. Our dishes were extremely greasy and salty. I understand that a little use of oil prevents stickiness in the pan but when the vegetable dish is greasier than the meat dish then there's a problem. The couple things that were passable was the steam rice and BBQ pork. The chow fun was drenched with a very salty gravy. I think my doctor would recommend me to stop dining here. Also the men's toilet is the smallest one I've been to. How small is it? Imagine sharing an airplane bathroom with another person. I swear while I was peeing I was rubbing shoulders with the man in the next stall and rubbing cheeks with another man washing his hands. Intimacy is good sometimes but not in the toilet. After the meal there is complimentary orange slices and mint for your stinky breath. They also add a 12% service charge to your bill. read more
