Employees were not very welcoming. But they were very busy so that is not a big deal. Just not the warmest environment. My biggest problem is that they were so busy, my nail tech was rushing. He was doing everything so quickly. He did a good job considering how quickly he was moving along but there were definitely a few brush strokes at the ends of a few nails because he was rushing. I made an appointment so it wasn't like I was a walk-in they were squeezing in. I would not mind it so much if it was cheaper than other places but a $30 gel manicure is pretty standard. Today my friend went to get her nails done. She constantly kept telling the woman doing her nails that she was doing them wrong and she wasn't going to pay for something g she didn't want. Asked if she can fix them the women refused . The manager proceeded to step into seeing that my friend was very upset saying that if she could pay half today and come back tomorrow she could pay the other half. At first my friend didn't want to pay at all but then came to her senses and decided to do the half . The manager then refused her money and said she was just going to call the police. Me and my friend and her grandmother offered to pay . The manager told all of us no and stated she was just going to let the police come. when the officers arrived they were upset to find that the woman was refusing our money. I ended up paying and that was that. Absolutely rude people all around getting in her grandmothers face and screaming.....unprofessional. Never going back read more

Worst nail salon! Beyond filthy. One of the nail technicians was yelling at the hostess telling her what to do, very unprofessional. I decided to just get a polish change since the place was so dirty. After I told the technician he raised the price and was very rude. Technician's hands were so dirty and dirt under his nails. So gross. Painted my toes in about 5 minutes. Didn't even put on a top coat. They also had no choices in nail polish. About 10 opi that looked years old. I give this place 4 stars just because of the technician Jesse. She is awesome. Her attention to detail and great customer service keeps me coming back. I have been coming to this shop for a long time and the quality and customer service has really diminished. This place charges more than other shops, which I don't mind paying for quality and good customer service. This place falls short in both those categories, except for Jesse. Also, do not bother making an appointment here. I have been going here for 2 years now, I love their work and their service. They always make you feel so welcomed. The old staff was bomb, Trant and Mia were my go toos. I was sad when I seen a brand new staff, I didn't think I would find anyone to do my nails like Mai did, I've gone twice and both times I didn't like the way my nails came out. So I stopped going. But today I told myself I need to go back and try someone else only bc it is literally down the street from my house. Today I FINALLY found Mai's match, I recommend Cindy, she does exactly what you want and tell her. I have not liked my nails this much since Mai did them last. I moved to the area about a year ago and was looking for my go to nail salon. I was so excited when JoJo nails opened up a beautiful salon just down the street from my house. The first time that I went here was a Saturday, and I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. I had plans so I relied on what they said. They moved me to a spa chair after 20 minutes. After another 15 minutes I realized I didn't have enough time to go anywhere else, and after another 15 I know I wasn't going to be able to get the services that I wanted. I don't know if I looked frustrated but around this point the receptionist came over and told me it would be just another few minutes. Finally I got a pedicure, but I had to leave without my manicure. Because it was my first time and I didn't have an appointment and it was a Saturday, I decided to come back and give it another shot. This time I came in I asked for a mani/pedi and a full set with gel polish, about $100 worth of services. I wanted to treat myself and relax. Plus it had been a while since I had my nails done and I wanted them to look great. My pedicure was great! For my hands, I had to tell the nail tech to give me my manicure even though she tried to tell me not to do it which was frustrating because it should be the services I'm paying for not what she wants to do. She was so involved with talking during my manicure that she didn't pay attention and realize that she painted the nails on my right hand correctly but only did one coat on my left hand and didn't even do a topcoat on all of my nails. I didn't notice before I left and tipped both the girls. I spent $100 plus tips for an incomplete service. Pretty disappointing. read more

This place has never been my favorite, but it is conveniently close to my home. I got a new set a month and a half ago after having no acrylics for years. I got a fill after 2.5 weeks, then after two weeks. The lady that did my fill was extremely slow and just seemed not in her comfort zone. Normally they have the light bright on your nails, which she didn't. Fast forward to today, exactly two weeks from last fill and I decided to go to a different salon. They took my nail polish off and I HAVE FUNGUS ON TWO OF MY NAILS. One is so bad it ate through my real nail. I'm so upset about this. The nail tech said clearly the last tech didn't pay any attention to my nails lifting and should have recommended a new set. Water most likely say on my nail beds since she filled over the lifts. My nail hurts pretty badly. I will never be back, and this actually ruined me ever getting acrylics again. Hopefully others won't have the same experience. read more

I came in just to get a plain manicure with polish change and it seemed like the lady was very put out by having to do it. it seemed like she was upset that she was only having to do a cheap manicure polish change and dripped color on the side of my finger. when she didn't immediately wipe it off I pointed it out to her and asked her to remove it and she said, oh that's okay when she was finished and got up and left. Went in for a relaxing pedicure and manicure. I have never had a bad experience at a nail salon until this morning. First of all the lady kept jerking my arms, my hands, legs and feet instead of kindly placing them where she wanted. She sat a bowl of water and mixture on my lap and forced both my hands in. She then picked up my foot abruptly and the water spilled in my lap, she poured some of the water out and forced my hands in again. She started on my feet, then went to my hands and left my feet soaking in the water the whole time. She grabbed my arm and placed it on a towel on the side rest. I had to ask her not to be rough a couple times. I'm not sure if she spoke English as one of the other workers kept speaking to her in another language. She then proceeded to paint my nails. I noticed her first clear polish she put on was lumpy. She proceeded to put a second and third coat of different products of clear polish. When asked how I liked it, I explained that my nails were not smooth and said what I thought was the problem. The other lady explained to her. She took off the polish as she spilled the remover down my leg and on my lap. I said to her she did not get all the polish off. She proceeded to put more clear polish on and it was a mess again. I finally said forget it, I will do them when I get home. At check out I showed the young lady working the register. She said she thought the manicure was fine and maybe I should let her to repolish my nails. I said she did it twice with the same result. It is the polish and she needed to make sure she was aware of that before she used it again. At this time the other lady came up, who spoke English, looked at my nails rolled her eyes and walked off. About a month ago was my first time ever here and I had an amazing experience and my nail tech was Mai and she did my nails perfect, few weeks later I came back 8-14-19 and unfortunately Mai no longer works here and the lady I was given was very rude and when I would show her a picture of how'd I want my nails she would just say she can't do it. So I just went with a regular color. In the front of the salon they have a bunch of mannequin hands with super cute designs on the nails and I guess no one there even knows how to do any of it except like one person who was off that day. My middle finger nail already has a crack in the middle. It hasn't even been a full week since I got them done, moral of the story is I don't recommend coming here unless you know a good nail tech here. read more

I just wanted to write about how great my Las experience was. I came in there with very bad cuticles, so bad that one of my fingers started bleeding because of how they were when I came in. Kristen, the nail tech took such great care of me and made my hands look so much better with a beautiful gel manicure. She did NOT cut me. I requested for her to use the stuff that helps stop the bleeding. I have been going to this location for years now and she is one of the best that has done my nails. Honestly I've been here a couple of times and every time the customer service is exceptional, but the actual service is horrible. The first time I came here I got a pedicure and the man switched a jet from another customers water and placed in into mine. By the time I realized it was too late and I'm not much to complain because of the language barrier. Second time I went and asked for gel but got a regular manicure, and this last and final time i got an over priced manicure that turned out nothing like I expected. Honestly you're better off going down the street to bontanic nails, because if you're not a white women the probability of you getting good service is slim to none. I've been coming to this place for the last year or so. I've never really had any issues with my pedi's. That's what I usually have done here. Problem lately is that they tend to make they're own prices as they go recently. Before I'd pay $30 for a pedi and the last couple times I went I paid $40 and lastly was yesterday, I paid $50 for a gel pedi. The lady assisting me asked me if I wanted to get callus removal for an additional $10 now I was up to $30 so then she recommended I get the $35 special so I agreed, it also included a massage or what not on the bottom half of my legs. As I approached the desk I was told I owed $50!! 2 weeks ago I got a mani and pedi at a place in Rancho Cucamonga for $60...so how is a gel pedi going up from $30 initially to now $50. This is ridiculous, this place is way too expensive for a pedi that u can acquire at just any other nail salon. There's nothing special about this place that can justify paying $50 for a gel pedi. Came in about a week ago and left very unhappy due to a very poor done job on my $35 pedicure. My toe nails were cut uneven, were not buffed out, or even filed down to take away rough edges. Even though it was obvious my toe nail was uneven it was still painted over. I ONLY decided on writing this review because here I am a week later with an infection on one of my cuticles. This place did a horrible job and also cut so carelessly into my toe nail that it caused an in grown toe nail. read more
