So I moved to Redlands about 4 months ago and have been going to different nail salons to find one I like. This one by far was the worst. Super unfriendly and was upset when they tried to up sell stuff and I didn't take it. I wanted a basic pedicure with no polish and a simple cut down. The entire service if I didn't speak up Would have been about 7 mins from Start to Finish and still was going to be 35 dollars with no polish. I was so shocked! but I still decided to just wait 10 min cause maybe they had reasons for that to happen. They asked me to soak my feet in water and the water was soooo hot! I almost burned my foot. This place was super adorable! I came here because I needed a quick pedi before a wedding I was going to. They were the only place to open at 10am on a Sunday! A lot of other locations in Redlands weren't open or did not open until 11:30. I came right at ten and was greeted SO warmly. I forgot the lady's name (so bad with that), but she was the sweetest and got me setup right away. The facility is clean and they have a ton of color choices. My chair was clean as well, there was no nasty residue on the cup holder area (there are at a lot of nail places I go to). I was treated right away and got out in a timely matter. I rarely get pedicures, so she cleaned my toes pretty well. I mean, my toes pre-pedi we're almost elephant man-like. They were HORRID. My toes post-pedi looked actually feminine! ...that's how I know she did a good job lol. I am a runner, and I run everyday, so my toes and feet are pretty beat up. All in all I was happy with my pedicure! It wasn't anything SPECTACULAR or LUXURIOUS, but she cleaned really well. Minus 1 star because after I came in there were other people who came in and had to wait for me to finish! It was kind of awkward, but they should be staffed up a little better. I had been calling around to different nail shops trying to get an appointment today, places were mostly Appointment only due to Covid and Camille not squeeze me in. I called orchid nails and spa around 930, the owner was able to squeeze me in at noon. I told her that it would be my lunchtime and it would need to be rushed, she said that was fine. I normally do acrylic nails, however I am trying to regain nail strength by not using gel or acrylic (SO HARD) the ladies didn't have a gun to my head but the PRESSURE was on when I did not want Gel polish on my hands (so uncomfortable). After I told her no she asked me OVER & OVER and would talk about me every single time i said no and I explained my situation OVER & OVER. Also when I got my bill they charged me 69$ for a gel pedi and regular polish manicure. They said the $35 was for the spa treatment, plus 15$ for gel and 18$ for some basic A$$ polish job. Gave them a second try after a not so good first time. The second time was worse than the first. Horrible customer service skills, prices aren't posted anywhere and they don't listen to you. I had the powder dip done, I told her when she first started that I still had some on my nails but definitely on all the nails of one hand. She said okay she'd get it but continued to put on an acrylic tip so I told her again and she said she'd get it. Well, she didn't so one hand looks natural while the other hands nails look frosted white underneath. I told her I wanted clear powder and she began putting on a white powder then took most of it off but you can see in the pictures that I still have some on the two nails she did it to. The first time I went she trimmed my nails without asking. The whole reason I do the powder dip is so my natural nails can grow. She didn't ask what shape I wanted. Update on my nails, I got them done yesterday and the nail polish is already coming off I wish I could give a negative star. They're so rude and rough here. They start talking shit when you tell them something like that hurt then keep giving us dirty looks. I saw good reviews so I came here but my nails are all uneven and crooked and I can't believe I have to pay for this shit. First visit here and I really enjoyed the services. I wish I could say the same about my daughters pedicure. After we got home her sock was full of blood! The woman doing her pedicure cut her while cutting her nails. My daughter did want to say anything at the time because she didn't t want the woman to feel bad, but normally when you receive a cut they put something on it to stop it from bleeding. I was hoping this was going to be our to go spot but my daughters feet are very sensitive so I suppose our search for a gentler pedicurist continues! Today I decided to try this place again, since I stopped going about two years ago when I was having consistently terrible experiences there. Unfortunately, the staff was rude and never honored appointment times, as well as actually at one point cut my mom's toe and then painted over the cut to try to cover it, even though it was bleeding. I called to make sure there was an appointment, deciding to bring my mom and sister back to give it another try. They said they had an appointment for three people at 2 o'clock, so we showed up a little before two and went to o'clock rolled around, they said they were running behind and it would be about another half hour. This was obviously frustrating, but because we didn't have any commitments we had to attend, we waited. After the time had passed, there was clearly no change in the wait time, so I asked if we could move it down to two people since I had to leave. They said yes, but then did not help the two people remaining. I would have almost been able to forgive this, however no one apologized or said anything about it, and they even seemed inconvenienced that we had shown up for appointments. There were three or four other people waiting in there, all of who said their appointment time had come and past. I love trying to support locally owned businesses, and I also try to give second chances if a place has done a poor job in the past. However, I can safely say that there have been no improvements made in the years since I started going there, and I Will not be giving them another chance. Save your time and energy, and if you can go somewhere else, even if it costs more, it's worth it. Don't waste your time, especially not for some thing that's not worth the time. read more

The ladies here are really sweet and efficient. I always come in as a walk-in, and they are always able to accommodate me. They do a good job. I only get pedicures as I like my nails short and clean. I only subtracted one star, because the last time I was there, the lady who did my pedicure was in a rush and didn't do as good a job as I normally get. I will still becoming here for pedicures. I just need to pay better attention so I can let them know if something is not as good as before. It's partially my fault as I was on the phone handling something important. Still worth a visit. I came here because of the good reviews and it was one of the only places open over the holiday weekend. I was disappointed when I left and even more upset a week later. They cut my nails way too short and all different lengths and did not give me the shape I asked for. I got dip gel done on one nail to keep it the same length as the others, but since they're so short the dip is practically as long as my real nail. He kept taking my nails out before the timer for the gel was done and now one is really bumpy looking and another is cracked/peeling. Horrible service, I am a regular at the salon for Dip nails with my natural nails. I never had an issue, usually Mai does my nails she started to clean my nails n switch with another older lady as she was busy. The older lady began to thin out my nails sooo much I ask her to stop but kept going, I ask ask her 2x to stop but damage had already even done. My niece and I just went in for gel nails and she got charged 30$ and I got charged 45$ this place is a rip off I will not be coming back. I came back in and asked why I got charged so much more and they said it was because of taking off the gel and getting a line on my nails which is considered a design. When she started working on my nails it appeared she would treat them like acrylics so I stopped her and explained how they should be removed.
