I have been getting all my prescriptions here for the last 17 years. They are friendly and family owned. They have always done a good job with filling my prescriptions and provide counselling as needed in a professional and user friendly manner. The main negative as there is often delay in getting my prescriptions filled. They are a small operation and they tend to get backlogged at times. There is sometimes a wait for them to get a new prescription filled. There have also been some glitches with insurance, but they always try to get it worked out. The store itself is quaint with a nice array of decorative and gift items as well as the usual over the counter drugs and medical supplies, cosmetics, toys, and school and office supplies. It is a great little store and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Her last day at a job she's spent the better part of 12 years at qualifies as special, in my opinion. Admittedly, I initially went to the floral department at Raley's and picked up some purple tulips. However, when I got home to set them up, I realized how sad looking they were. The employee at Raley's did her best to put the arrangement together but in the end, they just weren't worthy of the occasion and my wife deserves better. So, I headed out to Twigs to see what they had. At first, there wasn't a whole lot. But the lady (I'm fairly certain she's the owner) assured me she was getting a delivery today and would have a lot more. I told her my wife didn't like red roses and that she likes purples, yellows, etc. She said she knew just what to put together. I decided to trust her and paid up front for the arrangement without knowing what it would look like. I'm glad I did. The arrangement was beautiful and well presented. I'm happy to report that my wife loved it as well. The old adage, "you get what you pay for", rings true in this situation. Twigs has excellent customer service, good quality flowers, and fair prices. They'll even deliver! She has earned my business and I will definitely return when another special occasion arrives.

Well this time we went I was looking at DVDs and my son was jogging up and down the isles while the old lady (who normally loves seeing him) was filling the shelves with new ones. As I was leaving I had a stack of 50 movies in both hands. I said "We will be back to see the rest" & she replied with "Yeah you better watch your kid next time". My son is autistic so it's hard going out into public with him and I just found that to be extremely rude. It could have been said in a more professional manner. Even though some find him on the grouchy side he really has a well stocked shop considering the size of community and location. Going over the NEW regulations for Nevada and with a questionable government with unconstitutional manipulations in gun control, it went well. No pressure and he shared some interesting samples that one would not believe had I not seen them with my own eyes. Yes, I'd recommend this shop even though he keeps afternoon hours and is less than friendly. It helps to keep the fly's away.
