Service was also noticeably slow, and the bar service in particular was lacking. We were told one thing regarding timing and expectations, but the execution fell short, which was frustrating on such an important day. That said, the staff was polite and there were a few dishes that guests seemed to enjoy, so I do appreciate the effort that went into serving such a large event. I truly wanted to love our experience, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I do not feel the service and quality matched the expectations that were set.

They supported us when working with several unique dietary restrictions, even going so far as to label the special meals with the names of the guests (rather than the allergies or dietary needs). This people-first focus meant so much to us. This year, we had to unexpectedly cancel our event at the last minute, and they were still so helpful and kind. Joan and Barry both worked with us as we navigated our cancellation, and even took the time to ask about how we were, rather than worrying about the loss of an event! They actually drove 2.5 hours to us here in Asheville NC so we were super grateful for this special treat! The BBQ and fried chicken breasts were perfect and tender.
