Great ball park! The home team is the South Bend Cubs. The high-a level minor league team for the Chicago Cubs. The park has been recently renovated this past year, and looks incredible. The game activities are fun and they constantly keep the crowd going with games and music and all kinds of Activities. The field is beautiful and the game was awesome. In addition, there is tons of food and drink throughout the stadium. An area for kids to play, shops to go to, bars, activities and concessions. All kinds of things like Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwiches, barbecue sandwiches, popcorn, hotdog, burgers, pretzels. All kinds of baseball food. The baseball was great, the crowds were great, the whole experience was great. read more

Four Winds Field is an excellent ballpark with something fun for the whole family! In addition to the game, they have good concessions, a nice Historic gift shop housed in a former Jewish temple, a "fun zone" with bounce houses for the kids, and also a splash pad area. The score board has good grafics & is well used. Hoping for the return of the veggie races & the cream cheese jalapeño burgers . I deducted a star because while it's a 5 star ballpark. It's a one star concert venue. I seen Everclear & STP live here & the sound system was the worse I've ever heard! read more

An absolutely beautiful stadium! Not a bad seat in the house but super reasonable for great ones! Was impressed with how clean everything was, with the ease of admission and the friendliness of the staff we encountered. Quite a few concession spots were closed on a Saturday evening game which was surprising. I was able to come to Four Winds Field to enjoy the "I Love The 90s" tour. Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Rob Base & Young MC were the featured artists but a local artist named Ayron also preformed. I even bought one of Ayrons shirts because it had a funny blue llama with sunglasses. They had lots of venders available for food and alcohol to enjoy during the show. I honestly loved everything about the show. The performers, the workers and even the fellow concert goers were all just super cool. I think everyone was just so glad to be in that environment for possibly the first time since the pandemic started that we all worked together to have a good time. I know there are other events held here and I am very interested in attending those as well. I definitely would recommend an event that is hosted here. read more

Being a Tigers fan it was very difficut when the Cubs came to town but thats ok because they play the West Michigan Whitecaps often. We have been to opening day for years now and attend many of the Cubs vs Whitecaps games here. Having been to many minor league stadiums, Four Winds Field is a great field. Just having the performance center is something that takes them out of the Single A world. We love our seats Section 111 Row A seats 11-12. They are right next to the visitors dugout and in front of the on deck circle. When the rowdy Cubs fans start badmouthing the Whitecaps we can just nod and say keep it up. S far as food in the park, Smokey Joes is my favorite. Their BBQ Nachos are great. Bens pretzles are also very good but you have to go down to the tent at the end of the first base side to get hot out of the oven (cash only). Four Winds Field is home to some great times with the South Bend Cubs. They're not a particularly incredible team, but it's a fun time with some friends. It's a nice clean venue and I expect to come back often over the next few years. read more

The field was amazing and same for the food but a random employee took my son's $40 hat and wouldn't give it back just because he was going on an attraction in the play area at the field so we had to go get another employee to go get it from the shed so we could have it back but other than that it was so amazing and everyone loved it read more

Ticket prices have risen along with the Chicago Cubs success, but are still a great value for all of the improvements to the park, its amenities and the surrounding area. Parking can still be dicey, and is up to at least $7 (make sure you have cash for this!) but we didn't have too much trouble getting a good spot this past weekend. Buy your tickets online ahead of time and aim for weeknights if possible for the best seats. We payed $13 + convenience fee for seats with the scouts behind home plate (Wander Franco, the Rays and MiLB #1 prospect was in town) for a Sunday, 2:05 PM game. The food prices are high, but only about half of what you pay at Wrigley. Typical ballpark fare (hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, etc.) along with a few other, more exotic options that cost a bit more (see the "Porknado" mentioned in Jason H's review from 6/1/19 for more). Beer, mixed drinks and wine available too. A good sized, domestic, draft beer will run you $5-7. A smaller sized craft beer is about the same price. This has become quite the family destination, too. Their ever-expanding entertainment venues now include the inflatable fun zone ($6 per child), splash pad (Free, but be sure to bring a change of clothes for your kids and yourself!), batting cages, the gift shop and of course an assortment of random games for kids along the mezzanine. If you're like me and grew up coming here when it was called Coveleski Stadium and it housed the Silver Hawks, or even further back the Sox, this is a much different place now. The bones of the facility haven't changed much, but everything, literally everything, else has been enhanced, updated and improved in a big way. While this stadium isn't as nice as Parkview in Fort Wayne, it is right up there with the best low-A stadiums in the Midwest League, and MiLB in general. read more

I've been to Four Winds Field twice now, and both times were for summer concerts. One was Ludacris, and the other was Snoop Dog. I went to these concerts with folks local to the South Bend area both times. Both times I heard how nostalgic they were for the older days before Four Winds got the renovations and the upgrades. However, without those renovations and upgrades, these summer concerts wouldn't be happening. Again, this is the price of progress. Being an older concert goer, upon entrance to the venue, I keep my eyes open for exits, restrooms, and security people. I'm not going to lie, the restrooms weren't the cleanest and the security people weren't the friendliest, but hey. It was summertime and super humid. Those don't help restrooms or people's moods. Four Winds really does a sweet job of setting up the stage and speakers to give patrons a memorable and fulfilling experience. One time we stood in the baseball field, and the other time we had lower level seats. Each time, the sound was great. This venue is really pretty easy to get into and out of, and there's lots of side lots and private lots that open up nearby for a nominal fee. We paid $10 to park and we were just maybe three blocks out. Pretty reasonable. read more

Its a nice stadium in the modern format. Try the porknado. Its a cornbread ice cream cone filled with pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, slaw, and jalepenos. They serve ice cold Yuengling, and theres plenty of fun for the kids ( spray park, inflateable playground etc) I detest baseball but the stadiums a good thing for South Bend and my son loves going to the games. The South Bend cubs do a.lot of nice events for Boy Scouts and Youth Baseball etc. The games are a great value..you can get decent seats for 18.00. I think they start at 11.00. read more

Very nice park, frequent Dow Diamond home of the Great Lakes Loons and this park is right on par with theirs. Plenty of things to keep you entertained if you are not into baseball, lawn seating is limited but you can see from anywhere in the park so finding a spot to lean and take in the game is fairly easy to do. An awesome park especially for the kids cause there's a splash pad,playground,and bouncy castles and for the grown-ups they got a bar and a store so exciting! Plus they got a performance center where you can practice soft ball and baseball at speeds you pick. This is a place to be if your a minor league baseball fan, it's like a paradise sure it's small but that doesn't mean that it can be fun! That's what I say to all small but popular places. Oh and before I forget they also have a run the bases for the little kids and as soon as there finished they get a Burger King coupon for some small fries there. I will never go back to this stadium again. Earlier this summer my sun glasses fell out of my pocket. Fortunately i know someone who works there and they turned them into the lost and found. I called in on the following Monday and the lady in the office told me they were no longer there. So this can only mean 1 thing: an employee took something that did not belong to them. The part that drives me crazy is that I lost them friday and only 3 days later on a monday they were gone. Even worse these are $400 prescription ray ban sun glasses. I can't just walk into a gas station and replace them. Nope, I have to get an eye exam and have them ordered for me. Someone who manages their facebook page did message me after I made multiple comments on their public page. They asked for my number and yet 2 weeks later I still have not heard any word from the south bend cubs trying to make this right. An employee stole from me and yet this organization has made no attempts to make this right. I expect much much more from a franchise like the cubs. Until this is resolved there is no chance I will return to the stadium knowing that an employee is walking around who stole from me. Please make this right. read more

Very poor in communication about Pitbull concert! Show was to start at 7:30 pm..you don't announce that the main event isn't even in town until 9:45pm!! We had a great time overall in the rooftop, but by the end of the game we were treated very poorly by a worker who gave us 10 minutes to leave, but at the 1 minute mark said "I'd like to go home, guys." Aka ushering us out. When we got up from our table with our half-finished drinks, he told us we needed to clean up after ourselves, and the mess was not ours. He was incredibly rude, and we feel disrespected, as we were there with tickets from someone who was almost the highest up in renting the rooftop. We had a lovely time in the place, but are very upset with the workers. I hope we will never experience that kind of service again. read more

I've had the opportunity to travel all over the country for work, but I usually get into town too late for most activities on a week night. Then I discovered minor league baseball games! They start about 6 or 7 which is perfect. They are inexpensive entertainment and they are clean/family friendly. So I have been to over 50 minor league baseball parks now. Four Winds Field is one of the nicer ones. They have a very nice play field and nice seating. There are a number of things for kids to do if they don't want to watch the game. Also there is a nice tiki bar in the outfield for the adults. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I've been too some minor league stadiums with a better selection of "local" food favorites (here they had typical concession stand food and a place for cheesesteaks (this is Indiana not Phily). They did have a local Amish soft pretzel (Bens) which was excellent. Also, some parks have more for the adults. But nothing would keep me from returning. A very nice ballpark. read more

The ticket price is great I've seen the cubs play at the Bees stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Enjoyed that so much more. I was looking for an opportunity for my wife and I to relax and do something different before dinner on our anniversary. We're well versed in the local craft beers. I ordered a Goose Island IPA. My wife ordered a Bell's Oberon. Whatever we were served were not those beers. IPAs are very hoppy, bitter. Oberon is rich and full bodied. We were served what I think might of been bud light or similar. Very watery. No hops or body. I agree that concessions should be a money maker at the game. But not a bait and switch arena. Utah only serves 3.2 beer but it beat whatever we were served hands down. read more
