After getting sick and the doctors finding out what the issue was, then the long healing time, I…read moreplanned on making a special treat from my family as a way of saying thank you and I love you. People I know stop at Piggly Wiggly weekly. I had even shopped there before. We just call it the Pig. As I walk to the doors there are several people there asking for money of just laying around the buggies outside. It looked like someone poured out a liquid that smelled like piss. Walking in you see the guards, but a first glance it looked passable in the clean department. How wrong I was! As I pass the purple onions you can see the mold on them. You could see them putting out another veg and they just put new over the old. So I flip the meal plan in my head and head to the meat section. 1. Paid over $24 for a pork tenderloin plus the 10% at checkout for something that was not fully pork. 2. Upon opening the package, the amount of liquid that came out could have filled up 2 cups. 3. While seasoning one end you could see where it wasn't what the label said. It was several chunks of fat and some meat where they used Transglutaminase throughout the full "tenderloin". 4. You could taste chicken, pork, and God only knows what else it tasted like. I thought it tasted like the plant sausages I picked up once. 5. Instead of being a gift to my kids It caused us to get sick and miss a very important doctors visit. 6. When you cook the meat is shrinks by half. If your having to cook twice as much as normal to feed the family then why not go somewhere else to get food that you know is better for cheaper than what you have to buy to feed your family. 7. How many times have you been sick after eating food bought from there? How many times has the NP or Dr at bond fussed at you for your sugar level, Cholesterol, blood pressure, or weight and you are doing what they said? How many times did you say F it and stopped caring what bond says and stopped going to the Dr or NP? What all are they putting in our foods? How much more will they push? Till someone passes away? Because it's not on the label and it is suppose to be! Now I know why our friends who shop there weekly stay sick so much. We have recommended that they shop somewhere else as well. We are going to get together every other week to take a drive further out to shop at other places. This way we can get what we pay for. Wally world isn't any better. So to save us money and we don't get sick again we will take a trip to a different town to save our lives from what might happen in the future. If the store is so bad that guards are needed then why not clean it up. It is because they want max profit in an area that needs to be in better health knowing we are limited on options. So I recommend to travel as a group to so save on gas and gives real options for the same amount I spent at the pig. Just because our budgets are limited and gas is expensive doesn't mean we will take this. For those who don't know, Transglutaminase is an enzyme that creates protein cross-links by binding amino acids (glutamine & lysine) together. Providing structural strength to proteins in cells in the food. It is commonly known as "Meat Glue".

Clean & convenient location. They have ApplePay! Publix doesn't even have ApplePay. I also like the frozen foods in clear packaging - no opaque bags with tons of ink concealing the contents. You will not find a single bag of coffee beans, or Jasmin rice, Basmati rice, no cold brew or cashew milk. They do have almond milk. I couldn't find chickpeas/garbanzo beans (canned), but I was able to find everything I was looking for. The wine selection and the finest bottle will cost you no more than $12. This will easily be my go to when I need to pick up veggies.
