We have been using Fowler for years but the past few month services have gone downhill. Our pool is green, we took a water sample to get checked and there was 0.1% chlorine in it. What have we been paying $80 a month for? We kept contacting them and got little to no response. I wanted this company to clean up the mess they made however that wasn't possible. They went out of their way to create a bigger mess. I called them and the owner said he was busy in Cabo planning to return but when I spoke to the female owner she said she'd be out of town creating a bigger mess. The husband still condones that behavior and doesn't denounce the big mess they created. Such unprofessional behavior and so disappointed that they could not be stand up individuals and adults. I do believe the right thing happened in the end. They didn't get away with their behavior and the consequences were just. Hopefully they improve themselves. I don't recommend dealing with these type of people in the future read more

If there is a problem on their end (scheduling, personelle, etc) they communicate that right away and Ashli has always been flexible with us and willing to work with any issues we may have on our end. Pretty disappointed with these guys. The tech that was coming was randomly not showing up, saying he WOULD show up and then NOT show up - it was incredibly unprofessional. After 3 months of this, we let them go and hired another local pool service. We "inherited" Fowler's Pool Service from the woman who sold us this house 14 years ago, and it seemed appealing to have the same guys taking care of our pool who've been doing so for decades. At first I did the regular maintenance myself and only had them out periodically for back flushes and annual filter tear down. Then I got older and busier, and one year I just couldn't get on top of an algae problem no matter how many bottles of crap I bought at Leslie's Pool Supply (which weren't cheap by the way). We've used Fowler's for several years, and have always had great service. We do our own chemicals, but at different times have had Bob install a new pump, new filter, and clean the filter (we let it get really gunked up). Service is top-notch and very thorough, and we always enjoy visiting with Bob. He also took the time to explain in detail the backwash procedure for our new pump as it's quite different. Lackadaisical business, manager has an temper, very hostile to deal with. Alters pool system without informing customer. Manager Bob would not agree to pay for the worked that was not authorize by customer, and started to bully the customer. Very unpleasant to deal with Manger Bob, canceling his service. Untrustworthy. After receiving multiple advertisements in the mail from Fowler's Pool Service and Supply, I called to schedule an appointment for a complete pool and filter system assessment as well as weekly maintenance. The initial call was pleasant with an explanation of their 30+ years in the business and clarifying that they service the neighborhood in which I reside. I proceeded with scheduling an appointment the following day with a window from 11-2 which I stayed home from work for. I received a call the day of with a short and curt response that they "looked at a video/picture of my pool online" and it would require weekly service which they don't provide...although I confirmed that in my original discussion as well as it reads "Premium Weekly Full Kreepy Krauly Service" on their website. Additionally, I was then told that they didn't realize I lived "that far" into the housing development in which they supposedly serviced. For a potential new client in which I was willing to pay whatever was asked to get my pool serviced, Fowler's instead disregarded my personal time and misrepresented their supposed offerings on both their website and in speaking with them directly. read more
