This made my wife uncomfortable due to the risk of germs and, in my opinion, the creepiness of a stranger touching our baby. We did continue with the company because we didn't feel like starting the search over and assumed that once construction began, we wouldn't be dealing with Richard. I explained exactly what we wanted and even showed him a photo (and explained the size and purpose). The company pulled permits and later sent us a rendering that wasn't what we wanted. I scheduled a follow up meeting to discuss the issue. Richard said he could "squeeze us in" between other appointments. Before he arrived, my wife and I went into the yard to discuss the project. We realized they simply weren't understanding our vision, and it didn't seem worth the time to keep trying to explain it. I was about to text Richard when he pulled up. I went outside to let him know we would not be proceeding with the pool. His response: "Why the f**k didn't you tell me before I got here?" In my opinion, he then stormed off like a child. I reached out to his boss to let him know that such behavior was incredibly unprofessional, and the language was unacceptable. I explained that I am also a business owner and that employees are not just a reflection of the company, but the owner. Instead of acknowledging or addressing the issue, he told me Richard lives in Palm Desert--as if he had made the drive specifically for us and that somehow it would justify his behavior. The owner called me today (a week later), briefly acknowledging Richard's behavior before saying he wants to bill me for permit costs and time. I already paid a non-refundable $1,000 deposit. He told me, "I don't have to let you out of the contract," and said he has legal recourse and could place a lien on my home. He also let me know he would respond to any review I left. At the end of the day, Majestic Pools was hired to provide a service they failed to deliver to our expectations. They also employ a salesman who acts in a creepy and foul-mouthed manner. Even if we had been difficult customers who required more time than expected or had left them high and dry, that still wouldn't excuse bad, unprofessional behavior and now legal threats.

The cost, again, reasonable ($45 for the week with 5 half hour classes included). The instructor was amazing! Happy and interactive. We did songs and free one playing with toys as well as skills such as getting in and out of the pool ("jumping in" and holding the side of pool and gettin out). The facilities themselves are amazing--Olympic sized pool, hot tub, small pool for kids where you can wade in to get them acclimated, etc. I dock a star because I still am upset about he cost of parking here. It's too much! $3 if you pay at machine and if you pay on app $3.35. Sure, you can buy a permit or drive around aimlessly trying to find a street spot, but it's kinda crazy (especially during college session!) But overall, the place is great and I will be back!

I'd easily put 5 stars if they offer free parking for their visitors. The pay parking is actually going to limit my visits to them to weekends.

Vinyl pool owners, beware! I had a horrible experience with…read moreGolden State Pool Service that has prompted me to take legal action. After a routine service visit to my vinyl pool, the pool began losing water rapidly and dropped to less than halfway full within days. A Vinyl Pool Repair company later identified a large puncture in the liner and advised the damage appeared consistent with blunt force. It is in the very bottom corner of the pool on the 8ft side, somewhere a 5 year old child couldn't reach. I checked camera footage to see their technician using his tool in an up and down motion as if he's spearfishing in my pool. Days later - the water dropped less than halfway. Other red flags - they removed my existing vacuum and replaced with a different one without my knowledge or permission. This specific vacuum was not recommended for vinyl from the vinyl EXPERTS that I consulted with. Furthermore, they also charged me on a random day for some type of "annual fee" without disclosing that upfront. Lastly, the last service visit we had (on a rainy day - no clue why the guy still showed up), the employee went behind the camera area and stood under my sundeck on his phone. Is that what you're getting paid for? Service visits under 10 minutes while you stand around. There were multiple red flags I ignored and excused but the damage to the pool was the last straw. Despite the timing of the incident, the severity of the water loss, camera footage, and the findings from ABCO, Golden State declined to take responsibility for the damage or assist with replacement costs. As expected: they responded to dodge accountability by saying the vinyl was in brittle condition - this still doesn't change the fact that you punctured my pool. See you in court.

These guys are the best Pool Repair and Maintenance people you could find. We have had them for several years after having gone through some other companies with less than desirable results. Bob, Jon, Marty and Bo are professionals and their work shows it. Our pool is always maintained to the highest standard and any questions or requests are always answered promptly and courteously. I didn't use my Caldera spa for 3 years. When I decided that it was time to use it again, it needed lots of repair and a new cover. I contacted Fowler's Pool Service and Supply and they referred me to a spa technician, measured my spa and ordered a better cover than I had originally. When he cleaned out our filler he sprayed the filters out over a gravel /deck landing which then washed out all the dirt beneath and has caused the deck landing to disintegrate and wash away. Not only that, the DE has left a mess that now has to be cleaned up before I can even repair the dirt and deck landing. I really liked the service from you and Becki, but the technician I wonder sometimes of he even did anything. There were days he was only here for a few minutes. Other days he had someone inside the truck that he was bringing to our home. A girl, maybe his girlfriend? Is that normal practice? If I had noticed this sooner I wouldn't have paid the invoice for the filter service. I have since hired a new pool service which has noticed a drop in pressure ,same as before your filter service, and now 2 weeks later I have to pay someone else again for the same service your technician supposedly just performed. What a complete waste of time and money AND damage to my property. Also, the chemicals also had to be redone the week after your company's service . There was barely any chlorine in the water. I was left less than satisfied with your company in the end and being ignored when I raised the issue was less than professional. Perhaps that's a theme.
