Good place to play at lots of space. Only thing is be careful of how much paint balls you buy. Unopened cases can not be returned.

They did a great job of explaining the rules, were very kind but very firm with the kids, and overall we had a fantastic time. I hope to be back soon.

Friendly, Fun and Good For All Levels!…read more I am writing this review as a newbie, but I planned and attended with 7 other people of different levels, ranging from the ages of 35-45. I traveled from California for a surprise birthday and had to plan it from afar. The staff was clear with all information regarding prices, rental equipment and description of what we would be doing for the day. Arrival: We all arrived right at 9am, signed in, and were able to pay individually(AMEX, MasterCard and Visa accepted). The cost was $58 each for a party, which included: * 500 rounds * gun * full mask(covers ears, forehead and down to chin) * two tubes on a belt to carry extra ammo * unlimited air * lunch with drink and chips (pizza/cheeseburger). $5 for additional lunch *2000 extra rounds is $65, ($40) if you have your own equipment. We bought 3 extra boxes for a full day with 8 guys. We had a few issues with equipment throughout the day to which the staff gladly fixed or swapped equipment. Let the games begin! There are two teams on the field(about 12-20 people per team), and being the less experienced, we got to start off defending a fort. There were some real pros out there, but people were all friendly, and it didn't deduct from our fun. Throughout the day, we played about 12 games (20 min each with about 10 min between), all with different scenarios. The course is 14 acres with tons of obstacles to hide behind. There are tons of trees and no open field. This is great for avoiding being hit, but can be trying to aim at your target through. 3 referees explain each game clearly, and take the course with you. They yell out if a man is hit, and make sure no one fires at them. They are strict with the rules but exceedingly helpful. Good for everyone: At one point, we had kids as young as 10 (many with professional equipment that could take us out from a mile away), men and women, and people as old as early 50's. It does require a good amount of walking, some climbing, and crouching. No one seemed to bully or push the boundaries of fair play. The Staff: I've peppered my review with comments about the staff, but since this was one of my biggest concerns, I'll give some more kudos. Being a first-timer, I felt like an idiot, well, most of the day. The refs would fix my gun in the field, check to see if I was actually hit, and direct me when I was totally lost. They were very heavy on the rules, nobody was hurt, and there were no arguments of real issues. The people working the office, food concessions, and equipment desk did whatever they could to make the day enjoyable. It's rare that you try something unfamiliar and have an incredible experience. Summary: 8 guys, different levels, different ages, and we all had a great time!

I think the fun you have will be directly dependent on who else is playing. We were led to believe (and I told my son's friends' parents) that people were divided up by age and experience. I suppose that's true once you get past a certain number of people. On our day, pretty much everybody played at once. And as the day progresses tempers do flare. This is a game based on the honor system and if you're hit you're supposed to be out. Well, two things are going to happen inevitably - you hit somebody who refuses to go out, and worse, you get hit and go out, and people keep shooting you. My kids watched a fight break out over that kind of behavior, and there was plenty of swearing about it to go around. You'll play upwards of 8 games with the same people if you're there all day, so expect enemies to form and vengeance to be sought. The staff was excellent, very helpful. I love that there's a built in lunch break that's included with the price of admission. Nice touch. It is way out in the middle of nowhere so don't expect wifi, and there's only a portapotty as far as bathroom facilities go. Go with as many people as you can, to improve your odds. You'll have much more fun shooting, and being shot at by, people you know rather than strangers. (Oh, and to answer the obvious question, yes it hurts. At least, if you're 12. Not in a "Medic! Man down!" kind of way, but in the kind of way that builds up with each hit. Before the day was out one of my group decided he was done because he didn't want to get hit anymore. But all of them had bruises to show.)

You are a younger (or youngest) sibling of a one parent household and your parent does not trust you to be alone. Your sibling is invited to a group event but has to drag you along because of this. "This is not how I chose to spend my day, but I will try to make the most of it." You naively think. This Paintball thing sounds kind of fun after all, you've been playing shooters on and off and think it'd be fun to do this in real life. You have to wait the whole drive there because, again, you have no phone to run games on (or at least, not any worth playing) You get to the venue and you are introduced to a few people and given your equipment, noticing the different paintguns available. One of these guns is fed from the top, the other is fed from the back. Both of these are gas-powered, so you don't think much of it to start. You are given some protective gear and get into the first match. You look at your weapon, ready to finally do something. You pull the trigger... Nothing. No click, no round fired, nothing. You, in your adolescent mind, try inspecting the gun to see if there's an easy fix. It's a closed system, so there's nothing you can do. You find a referee and tell them your weapon is broken, and are brought to where the other weapons are. You hand in your defective paintgun, and are sat out for the next half hour doing. absolutely. nothing. Next round starts, you are handed a new (but very similar) paintgun. You test it with a trigger pull... Again, Nothing. You find another referee and turn in the gun but then ask if you can have one of those top-fed rifles. Surely that one won't break, right? "That's for paying customers." You just got handed two broken paintguns in a group activity and are told the models that probably do work are not allowed to you because you are a guest. You're shit out of luck, wait for round 3. Pull the trigger... IT FIRES! Maybe a bit too fast, you figure, but it at least works! You are directed to your starting spot, the whistle is blown, and you peek out of cover. You begin firing on where you think someone is, not actually sure but figure you can lay down some suppressing fire! EXCEPT... A referee approaches, sees you firing full auto, and forbids you from firing again, saying the gun is broken. You are forced to, for a third time in a row, sit out the rest of the match. You'd rather be home playing on the Xbox, this trip has been a colossal waste of your time. There's one more round at least... Broken, again. No firing. You just sit there, behind a tree, on a sweaty summer day, for thirty minutes, because you have completely given up on the staff here. No one will help you, and the equipment that actually works is not being given to you because you "aren't a paying customer." This is my only experience with Paintball. Three guns that jammed, and a fourth that had me immediately disqualified. Only a decade later do I realize how completely unjust this was and come on Yelp to leave a black mark on this website like they left a black paintball on my heart.
