A solid ok spot. Love a brewery with a theme and enjoyed all of the fox decorations. The ipa that I ordered was underwhelming. It honestly tasted like a Miller light. Now the burger that I ordered, that was totally 5/5. It was delicious! The night of my visit, they also has karaoke, but we left before that started. Went here with some coworkers on a Friday night for the first time. I'm not much of a beer drinker, so I was mostly interested in the food. I got the Foxy Burger, which was a burger with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, pepperjack cheese, and bacon. It was very good. The sauce had a bit more kick then I was expecting but not too much. We also got the pimento cheese bites, which were excellent. They're basically pimento cheese in panko-crust breading, deep fried and then covered with honey sriracha. Would definitely get these again. The rest of the group seemed to like their beers. I tried a sample of their seasonal ramp beer which had a hint of onion in the taste. First time here and we were all impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. They have a lot of chatzkis and what not on the wall that gives it character. There were several tables seated when we were there... it was (too) quiet at first, but thankfully music was turned on. The server was very friendly and prompt. Offered refills and was always available. The food was very good! We got the totchoes (great), chicken drumsticks (good and a nice crunch), sweet pepper slaw (really good), and the peanut butter and jelly burger. The flavor combinations were great... I wish the burger would have been juicier. Also had a beer flight - I enjoyed them all... lots of flavor and all very smooth. We are looking forward to going back. read more

We stopped in this brewery for an after dinner drink and were quite satisfied. Not only was our beer good, but the beertender was very attentive and we were happy to have a conversation with him. I feel the building is a work in progress, but it is clean and has a homey feel to it regardless. read more

Stopped in for lunch and a cold one! I had the house made IPA which was cold and crisp and delicious. For food I ordered the carnival bratwurst sausage hoagie. The sandwich comes with a topping of sautéed onions and peppers and a drizzle of hot honey. The sandwich was very good but needed a slice of cheese to hold it all together. some smoked gouda would be amazing! And the food - for locals the team at Fox Hops has somehow managed to create selections that take transport you to local times and places via your tastebuds. It's so nice to see this place open. Always nice to have more options to hang out in Elkins and they have both beet AND a kitchen! We just ordered appetizers and I lived on french fry nachos but they were truly delicious. The restaurant is cutely decorated and service was solid. Parking is a little awkward, but it's nice to see development expanding outside of downtown. read more

Hands down, the BEST pulled pork sandwich I've EVER had (Hog Callin'). The buns were toasted perfectly and whatever is in that Spicy Foxy sauce is . The saison was also so so so so good. The servers were very nice and it's clear that this is a place where locals have a great time. read more

Nice little place. Visited on my annual motorcycle trip with friends. The owner/brewer was very hospitable and assisted with the beer choices. Pork rib appetizer was excellent with generous amounts of meat and a delicious spicy bbq sauce. Definitely recommend this spot. They're expecting to add on a deck outside which will definitely add to the attraction of this place. read more

The pig wings were an excellent twist to the usual bat wings. The service at the bar was 5 stars and this is the spot to go when you are in Elkins. I didn't try the beer so I can't speak to that. Also, food was very inexpensive but maybe on par with the area. read more

Amazing new brewery in elkins, the atmosphere is awesome! Beer very tasty and food very good! Had fries and pretzels with the pork wings (first time ever having pork wings) they were so good! Tried 4 of the 6 beers, Sammi's saison was my fav and the American ale was good too! I highly recommend this place! read more

We from out of town. When we walked in, everyone just kind of stares at you. Seems like it may be for locals only. The beer was solid. The folklore IPA was pretty good. Not real hoppy but had a good spice. The brats were excellent. Pork wings, excellent. Tots, excellent. Would have gave a 5 star, but the bathroom was gross, had to ask for silverware and napkins.
