Tina and Ali catered our sons wedding of 140 people and rehearsal dinner at our home in Lake Arrowhead, they did an OUTSTANDING job. Because our house isn't a venue, there were alot of 'firsts", figuring out where things should be placed for good flow. Ali has the sweetest demeanor and spirit ever, she was always smiling, so happy and upbeat. They showed up on time, they were an absolute pleasure to have on the wedding team! The food was delicious, the presentation was so pretty. Her staff couldn't have been better, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, Do yourself a favor and just book them, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely use them again and again.

Fox in the Woods catered my daughter's Graduation Dinner, Tina & Bob went above and beyond in providing the best Carne Asada & Chicken Polo Asada Tacos! Each tray was hot and fresh. Homemade Salsa, Cilantro Dressing, Avocado Sauce, and Radish Relish it was just delicious! Best Caterer on the Mountain!

Tina and her staff were amazing! She invited us into her home for our initial tasting. I made a couple different seasoning requests, and she happily made the adjustments for our wedding day. We also had Tina cater our rehearsal dinner, which was equally delicious! For our rehearsal dinner, we had: Appetizer: Fruit and Marshmallow dip Entrees: BBQ Chicken and BBQ Bratwurst Sides: Potato Salad, and Baked Beans Salad: Green Salad For our wedding, we had: Appetizers: Spinach Artichoke Dip (seriously amazing, she even provided us with a bunch of different kinds of crackers and bread) and Salami Skewers Entrees: Teriyaki Chicken (not your typical teriyaki sauce, so much more delicious!) and Tri Tip (with a carving station) Sides: Parmesan Roasted Potatoes (seriously yum!) and herb roasted green beans! (equally delicious) Salads: Green Salad and Champagne Pear Salad (OMG I cannot begin to describe to you how good this was! It was both my and my husband's favorite out of all of our choices) Drinks: Water with Watermelon Hearts, Tropical Iced Tea, and Lemonade Even though our food was served buffet style, the bride and groom got a server who brought us whatever we needed! They make all of the food on site, so it's fresh! We loved that it was a mom and pop company and our food was not mass produced ahead of time along with 5 other weddings. We had so many compliments on our food from our guests, and they even boxed up all of the leftovers for us. They even sent to go boxes for my husband and I to our suite the night of to make sure we actually ate (the bride and groom never get to eat lol). We ate once we got to our room, so it was seriously appreciated! They really thought of everything!

The Rim of the World Historical Society was very pleased with the food and service provided by Tina's group at our San Moritz Lodge event last weekend. We very much appreciate her understanding our special needs and accommodating us. Our 140 guest were well taken care of well both during the appetizers at cocktail hour, dinner and dessert. The tables beautifully set and the buffet line well maintained and attractive.

I recently had opportunity to contact Tina regarding an event at Lake Arrowhead and I was so impressed by her professionalism throughout menu discussions that I just had to ensure that EVERYONE hears what great service standards she provides. Her menu is delectable and well thought out in regard to the event. I truly feel that Fox in the Woods Catering would be the right choice for any event you plan at Lake Arrowhead... from an intimate get together to an elegant event, Tina and team will definitely earn you compliments from your guests!

I was shocked at the actual square footage of this store as it looks much smaller from the street. Additionally, I never noticed they have a Starbucks within. Initially I only intended to stop in for a meager bag of tortilla chips, but I soon found myself walking other aisles just to peruse the variety of goods available. There's a full-service bakery with an impressive display case near the entrance (adjacent to the Starbucks), and the steaks at the meat counter were equally attractive. The deli section was doing a good business with several people in line for sandwiches, and I noticed a hot soup station, as well. I hate shopping at Lake Arrowhead village on weekends due to the traffic and, though this Jensens was doing a very brisk business, the ease of parking is so much better. I have been relying on the little market in Cedar Glen (a former Jensens, ironically) for emergency "basics, " but it's nice to know there is a larger, better-stocked, option available a short five miles distant.

We love how theres a lot of paintings from local artists for sale as the decor. Small kitchen so they warned that the wait times are long for food. It was true. There was a lot of empty tables on a Friday night. Lots of parking in a newly paved parking lot. We ordered the veggie burger, strawberry salad, fried pickles, and hummus plate. There was a lot of leftovers as our eyes ate more than our stomachs. First the whipped hummus was divine. I liked all the crunchy veggies and pita bread but the juxtaposition of the mushy, wet dolmas felt strange. The hummus to veggie ratio was off. We had a few veggies left and wished for more hummus. We found it amusing that the fried pickles were more like pickle fries. The exterior tasted of onion rings. Absolutely would order again. Such a fun way to eat pickles! We love the strawberry salad. Goat cheese and strawberries was a match made in heaven. I do think the vinegarette was overpoweringly acidic. I wonder if more sweetness could balance it out. I also thought something bigger than pepitas like candied pecans or walnuts could offer a better crunch to the salad. We did not like the veggie burger at all. The patty should be more firm and structurely together but the mushroom mix was so soggy and mushy and fell apart easily. I wonder if adding a binding agent or flour or something or even deep fry it with a bread crust could make the patty more appealing. We would absolutely come back. Maybe not for the mushroom Patty.

Very small restaurant so highly recommend getting a reservation. We tried many items from the menu. I really liked the steak tartare which tasted of truffle and loved that they had different things to add on top as well. It was really good steak and not at all chewy. The soup du jour was a creamy caramelized onion soup which was decadent and so good. For my entree I got the seafood pot which I liked but wasn't obsessed with. The curry was very thin and the seafood felt a bit overcooked for me. But the taste was good, just wish the curry was a thicker paste than a liquid soup texture. My family all loved their entrees and said the quality of their various steak dishes was remarkable. The waitress was so kind as well. Would love to come back next time I'm in town!

I started my meal with a craft beer and a half order of the Grilled Caesar. There are a number of quality starters and entrees to choose from but after asking for a recommendation from our server, I settled on the Spicy Thai Basil Spaghetti. I also was fortunate to have the opportunity to try the steak Tartare. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and well-crafted with fresh ingredients, and it made for an overall great meal. The ambience is cozy and the staff is also attentive. It's no wonder Stone Creek Bistro is so popular! I'll def be back the next time I'm in Arrowhead.

Our waiter could not have been nicer. I wish I could remember his name. He was so kind and eager to make our visit a good one. We started with the deep fried mushrooms which were good, but a little too heavily battered for my taste. They came with 2 dipping sauces, a spicy aoli style and an Asian chili sauce (sweet). I had the grilled salmon with lemon caper sauce. It came with your choice of 2 sides. I got the fully loaded baked potato and steamed vegetables. My meal was delicious and a large serving that I could not finish. Good value at $24. My husband got the ribeye with herb roasted potatoes and a salad. The salad was large and fresh with plenty of carrots and tomatoes. The herb roasted potatoes were delicious, but I would definitely get the fully loaded baked potato again. My husband said his ribeye was delicious and cooked exactly as he asked (medium). I had a martini which was a generous pour and the bartender even hand-stuffed some olives with blue cheese for me which was really kind as the bar was quite busy. The atmosphere was great - filled with people enjoying themselves dining, talking, and laughing. Restrooms were spacious and clean. My only complaint was that the seats were hard wood. On top of that the lobster raviolis have a Kroger brand style nasty little shrimp on top, and probably imitation lobster inside. Here's where things get even worse, we called to let them know what happened and instead of accommodating or just SIMPLY apologizing as anyone who has worked in customer service knows that's how you handle things they were combative and tried to gaslight me into saying it was MY hair. The guy was SO rude, refused to give his name and kept going on and on arguing instead of being hospitable or sorry for what happened.
