They look like they're straight out of a Pinterest board. We wanted someone local who would accommodate food allergies. We were also looking for someone who could not only make the dishes we were hoping for, but also create a gluten-free, plant-based grazing table for about 70 people. And it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Let's talk about the dinner first. Camille set up an intimate tasting at the church where the catering company is based. Before the tasting, we had a phone call about our allergy needs, and she accommodated beautifully by making everything gluten-free and minimizing dairy where we could. My husband and I compromised slightly on dairy for dinner, but we kept the grazing board fully plant-based. After the tasting, we chose three entrées and trust me, it was hard to choose because everything was so delicious. We went with two chicken dishes. The herb-crusted chicken was originally for the kids, but once the adults tasted it, they loved it so much we ordered extra portions. The Tuscan chicken was my husband's favorite. We also chose the cod, and it was the best fish I've ever tasted in my entire life. I still dream about it. We had leftovers and since we provided containers, that's what we brought on our honeymoon. We were in heaven reliving our wedding dinner the whole time. For the sides, we couldn't choose between the herb-roasted potatoes and the mashed potatoes, so we got both. And mixed vegetables! They were delicious. Everyone raved about them afterward, especially my family. We still talk about this food. We also chose two salads. The Caesar was my favorite, and she accommodated us by making it plant-based with our favorite vegan feta. I can't express how grateful we are for how thoughtful and flexible Camille was. Now let's talk about the grazing board. I knew it was a big ask to create such a large gluten-free, plant-based grazing table for 70 people, but Camille and her team made it happen in the most beautiful way. We gave her an extensive list of the foods we wanted, and she coordinated with Rebel Cheese to get a wholesale deal for our favorite cheese wheels. She sourced all the gluten-free baguettes and crackers we sent her, brought in colorful olives, fresh fruit, nuts, and seeds, and even made homemade jams! (Are you kidding me!?) Everything was absolutely delicious and strategically and beautifully placed. She truly went above and beyond. I still cry when I look at these photos. She even had one of her servers make us our own plates from the grazing board so we didn't miss out on our favorites! How sweet is that? We also gave her our cake and cupcakes, and her team placed everything on the dessert table so beautifully. We even had polaroid photos that needed to be placed inside the cake with specific instructions, and everything was done exactly how we asked. We also gave her all the charcuterie accessories, plates, napkins, cupcakes and cake, and extra decor to go on the grazing table the day before and she did such a wonderful job implementing it all. If you're looking for a caterer in Lake Arrowhead for your wedding, I truly could not recommend Camille at The Lady by the Lake Catering more.
