My salesperson at the time, Peter Biasco, was outstanding and thoroughly knowledgeable about his product as well as the competitive marketplace. He advised me on what was great, what was not necessary to meet my needs, and what was the best way to go with the boat in terms of how do I outfit it. All of his recommendations have proven to be outstanding. Fast forward to 3 years later and I happen to have had a problem with the cover that covers the Bimini when it's down. Unfortunately, I got a tear in it, and I reached out to Peter on how I should handle the process. Honestly I wasn't sure what I was going to get because Peter was my salesperson and not involved with service, per se, but he really stepped up. Not only did he listen to my concern about the tear, he went through the process of checking into the warranty, checking with his service people, and as a result, I'm getting a brand new bimini because of his efforts. I'm very grateful that I picked Munson as my place of purchase, and I'm grateful that I had Peter as my original salesperson--someone I could turn to 3 years later when I had my first problem. We looked all over the show but came back to Munson to buy. We got exactly what we wanted. Peter Biasco was awesome walking us through the process, options, etc. we was patient with all our questions. When the boat came in during March we went out to meet Adam and get all the final papers signed. They were all ready and we were in and out quickly, were able to see the boat, and set up delivery. We have a lake house on Lake Holiday (Sandwich, IL) so it is nearly a 2 hour drive from Munson to deliver it but Captain Bill brought it out, launched it, showed us all the ins and outs, and helped us figure out the best way to get it tied to our dock. He was great with us, and showed us everything we need to know about the new boat. Captain Bill spend a couple hours with us going around the lake, making sure everything worked and we were ready to take it on our own. I was on the fence on different models and brands and she helped me with a side by side comparison so I picked the right one with options that I need. It was a big purchase for me so she wasn't pushy, on the other hand she also welcomed me with open arms and made me feel comfortable since I have had trouble in the past with sales people not wanting to approach me since I don't have the appearance of being rich. She didn't hesitate to greet me and help me out. Later after we made sure that we had the right make and model she introduced me to one of the owners Matt. We sat down and he dialed me in with the price. It was like a no haggle thing since I was shopping and knew what this should cost and he was below anyone else. He was very very helpful and was a pleasure to do business with. This is a family business and they treated me like family. A follow-up to my earlier experience with The Boat House Chicago (Bald Knob Rd, Johnsburg). After…read moremany failed attempts, they have finally gotten the motor to run -- but the boat will only move forward. It won't go in reverse, which means it still isn't usable. When I called back about this, I was told that their job was only to make the motor run, not to make the boat drive. That response says everything about the service department here. A boat that can't go in reverse can't be launched, docked, or operated safely, and being told that isn't their concern is unacceptable. My dealings with the service department, and with Tanner in particular, have been consistently frustrating. I've been more than patient through repeated failed repairs, and I still don't have a working boat. I would strongly caution anyone before relying on this service department.

Brought our boat in for new trailer break cylinder and trailer tongue, replace prop shaft, bottom…read morewash, shrink wrap, winterization and summarization. They charged about 1500.00 and when I picked up the boat 2 of the 3 pontoon plugs were missing, the inside of the boat was trashed with grease, hand prints, and footprints, the trailer straps were off. While towing the boat my trailer wheels started smoking because the breaks were rubbing. The wheels were so hot that the grease was shooting out of the wheels. I bought new pontoon plugs and put the boat in the water the prop shaft started burping drive oil after I started it. I then noticed that nothing electrical was working and after further inspection realized that one battery was never connected and the other only had the start cable hooked up. The remaining wires were not hooked. In addition to all that the chrome on the port side was damaged by the acid washer. After much complaining they agreed to relook at the shaft seal. After 2 weeks they replaced more seals. If they would have put new seals in with the new prop shaft this would not have happened. They treat your boat like its just a boat . They have no concern for your property. They refuse to acknowledge the chrome damage and write it off as poor workmanship on the manufacturer part. DO NOT BRING YOUR BOAT TO KINGS ISLAND MARINE!

I talked to a nice guy named brad who…read moretold me this boat was in great shape.I talked to brad a few times on the phone for m or info on the boat, since i lived 2 hrs away from them. i asked brad if the floor in the boat was in good shape. brad informed me that the floor was solid and i would be more than impressed with the boat and they are more in the business to make friends than make money. now once i got there 2hrs away the boat was in the shop filthy rat poo everywhere in the boat and guess what the floor was completely rotted out and a rats nest in the ski well. why why must you lie to sell something. if i where you i would never go to this place.
