He took a prop out of the box that was right for my engine and showed me how to fit it with the hub and discussed with me the relative merits of an aluminum versus stainless steel. He knew what he was talking about and I ended up with exactly the prop I needed and some dock line. I felt perfectly confident in his advice and he never tried to up-sell me with things I didn't need. A great person and a great store. Thank you West Marine in Fox Lake! We looked all over the show but came back to Munson to buy. We got exactly what we wanted. Peter Biasco was awesome walking us through the process, options, etc. we was patient with all our questions. When the boat came in during March we went out to meet Adam and get all the final papers signed. They were all ready and we were in and out quickly, were able to see the boat, and set up delivery. We have a lake house on Lake Holiday (Sandwich, IL) so it is nearly a 2 hour drive from Munson to deliver it but Captain Bill brought it out, launched it, showed us all the ins and outs, and helped us figure out the best way to get it tied to our dock. He was great with us, and showed us everything we need to know about the new boat. Captain Bill spend a couple hours with us going around the lake, making sure everything worked and we were ready to take it on our own. I could not be happier with the process, service, and thoroughness of the team and we look forward to this summer and many more with the boat!

I was on the fence on different models and brands and she helped me with a side by side comparison so I picked the right one with options that I need. It was a big purchase for me so she wasn't pushy, on the other hand she also welcomed me with open arms and made me feel comfortable since I have had trouble in the past with sales people not wanting to approach me since I don't have the appearance of being rich. She didn't hesitate to greet me and help me out. Later after we made sure that we had the right make and model she introduced me to one of the owners Matt. We sat down and he dialed me in with the price. It was like a no haggle thing since I was shopping and knew what this should cost and he was below anyone else. He was very very helpful and was a pleasure to do business with. This is a family business and they treated me like family. Not only do I recommend Munson to strangers on the internet but would recommend them to my friends and family. All of their boats and products are top notch and they been in the business for like over 60years (I think). So that tells you something right there they would not be around for so long if they didn't know what they were doing and doing things right.

After…read moremany failed attempts, they have finally gotten the motor to run -- but the boat will only move forward. It won't go in reverse, which means it still isn't usable. When I called back about this, I was told that their job was only to make the motor run, not to make the boat drive. That response says everything about the service department here. A boat that can't go in reverse can't be launched, docked, or operated safely, and being told that isn't their concern is unacceptable. My dealings with the service department, and with Tanner in particular, have been consistently frustrating. I've been more than patient through repeated failed repairs, and I still don't have a working boat. I would strongly caution anyone before relying on this service department.

The word luxury premium pontoon boat What you get : no working radio mold and nasty carpet non working gauges They will pretend you are getting a working radio etc until you get there and it's too late and you have a nice silent 10 person boat ride for the day Gas You will be charged for gas ... gas is available on the lake you can fill it yourself They will refuse you to not fill any gas that isn't them filling it and with not one single boat or ski in their inventory with a working gas gauge most people don't realize that these boats don't hold more than 10-15 gallons of gas but will tell you it holds a million dollars of gas and will charged you as much as they can without you thinking it's impossible Customer service the owner - Kevin is insane They will tell you you broke things you didn't or make up that your prop was damaged it's always something As much as this place could have been fun and nice it's always some big scam or hassle I've prolly rented 15-20 times in 12 years here and not one time has it been what it was suppose to be. Last time I tried to confirm my boat had a working radio made sure it was the best they had and then the bait and switch you pull up your friends look at you and are like are you serious you have broken gauges moldy carpet no working radios even tho you triple checked ahead of time and them smiling when you pull back up pretending like you burned 100 gallons of gas in your tiny pontoon yacht that has a 12 gallon tank - just save the hassle Not sure where I'm gonna go this year to rent but this place just isn't worth the nightmare the boats and skis are ancient nothing works how you gonna charge me for gas with no gas gauge and even try to play like the tank holds 200 in gas they are literally Crazyyyy don't walk away runnnnnnnnnnnnnn

My salesperson at the time, Peter Biasco, was outstanding and thoroughly knowledgeable about his product as well as the competitive marketplace. He advised me on what was great, what was not necessary to meet my needs, and what was the best way to go with the boat in terms of how do I outfit it. All of his recommendations have proven to be outstanding. Fast forward to 3 years later and I happen to have had a problem with the cover that covers the Bimini when it's down. Unfortunately, I got a tear in it, and I reached out to Peter on how I should handle the process. Honestly I wasn't sure what I was going to get because Peter was my salesperson and not involved with service, per se, but he really stepped up. Not only did he listen to my concern about the tear, he went through the process of checking into the warranty, checking with his service people, and as a result, I'm getting a brand new bimini because of his efforts. I'm very grateful that I picked Munson as my place of purchase, and I'm grateful that I had Peter as my original salesperson--someone I could turn to 3 years later when I had my first problem. He picked up the ball and ran with it and scored a SERVICE touchdown. Thank you, Peter. I appreciate your help very much.
