Very few services performed anymore. Months behind on due dates for boot zippers. They don't care if you use their service and would prefer you just take back work they are behind on. Hopefully they will retire soon and sell the business to someone that is a cobbler and can meet the demands of the work they take in. It's not rocket science ... read more

It's a filthy shop and they're not very organized but if you're desperate then you should give them a try. Took about 3 to 4 weeks to get my boots back but I finally got them and they fit much better now. Loose the John Wayne photos and this place would look so much better. read more

I went in on a moment's notice on 3/11/2020 to have a heel insert re-glued into my right foot Sperry docksider, it had been loose for almost a year! The wonderful woman applied heavy adhesive to the shoe sole and bottom of the insert, told me how to mate them after 30 minutes and sent me on my for no cost! I gave her $5 anyways and was happy to do it, outcome was outstanding! Could not recommend another service provider more highly. read more

Very friendly but matter-of-fact local people running a very good leather and shoe repair shop. We've had more than a few shoes repaired there and the latest service was to replace the zipper on my 20-year old leather jacket. The original zipper had lost some teeth the last time I used it a few weeks back; and they had the new one sewn on and ready to go right after Christmas was over. The new zipper looks like it's the original it was sewn in so well, it works great and may even be stronger than the first! read more

Took in a pair of jeans missing the large waist button above the zipper. She took one look at it, and less than 5 minutes later, I walked out with a new riveted-on (just like they come from the store!) button, and a "back -from-the-ragpile" pair of jeans. Pleasant help, great service, and a very low cost for the repair. This appears to be Aiken's only shoe repair place, so I was very glad to have found them on Yelp. read more

We brought two belts in that needed some extra holes. The service was excellent and fast, and I purchased a small jar of their homemade chopped figs, it was absolutely delicious on a piece of toasted multigrain bread with a tiny bit of cream cheese! I definitely recommend this shop, it's great to be able to find and support local businesses! read more

I bought in a pair of boots that needed the zippers replaced. On having them back for two days the zipper cover broke off. I paid $60 to have them replaced and they glued the zipper covers back on instead of stitching them back on. Won't be going back. read more

I brought a pair of heels in that were on their last leg to be fixed, and it only cost $7. They thought i was joking when i asked if they could salvage them. Reasonably priced and they did a nice job. read more

Heels on two pairs of clogs this year wore out due to poor quality rubber. Both times I had to argue with the ladies there to get them replaced at no charge (I already paid). Both times I had to appeal to the male owner to get the service I paid for - both times he did replace them. Also two soles came loose at the toe, so they nailed the toe down with a single nail in each sole. read more

I have had a few shoes and boots repaired at this shop over the years, and I have to say I was never that pleased with the results, they were adequate. After my latest experience I can definitely say I will never take anything to them again. I took a very nice pair of shoes to have the buckles reattached on a pair of sling-back shoes. The elastic had worn. The stitching is sloppy. There are skipped stitches. One of the buckles was reattached at the wrong angle. This is far from what I would expect from a professional shoe repair. read more
