I might be a little old-fashioned, but I can't tell you how much a love when I place a call to a…read morebusiness and I get a live person! Not only did I get a live person when I called East Coast Granite & Tile, I got the best customer service I've had in a long time! Marc Ollis was my contact from start to finish and he was very patient and knowledgeable when it came to making my decisions with the slabs I was choosing for my kitchen countertops. Sometimes one slab was two small for my job or too expensive for my budget, but he didn't mind continuing to quote others as I found them. Once my slab was selected, every other representative from the template person (David), fabricator, (Serge); whom I met in person to decide my layout, to the installers (Harley) and sealer (Dallas) were in touch to confirm when they would arrive to confirming my satisfaction. I even received a follow up call from a person named Tim, whose title I'm sorry I didn't get, to ensure I was satisfied with the installation of my countertops. This is an outstanding A+ organization that deserves more than the 5 stars I'm giving them!! Please ask for Marc!

Granite places are really a dime a dozen and it shows here. Deb (I doubt she wants to be called that) needs to be spoken to in writing 100% of the time and if you don't she will bulldoze you over because "that's not what she said" by the end of our transactions she was being me to "just call her" but I continued to speak via text and even asked her if email was more comfortable for her. When we initially asked what our overages would look like she would shrug and say "like nothing not even anything" so it came as a surprise it was $1500 more at the end. The guy who does the measurements real nice, the guys who did the install, also nice. Deb- stay far away. The trip charges, the chipped unfinished edge, and the snake that is Deb all scream 'head down the road' to me and that's what I'm going to do for the next 15 kitchens we need stone for... yep, they knew we had more projects and we were still treated like this.

We were told our bathroom remodel would take approximately 6-8 weeks. Instead, the project extended until December 30, 2025 before final inspection approval was obtained after a second inspection. Corrective work continued for months afterward. Throughout the renovation, communication was inconsistent and project management appeared disorganized. We repeatedly requested schedules, updates, and clarification regarding who would be coming to our home and what work would be performed. Workers frequently arrived without clear direction, and we often felt we were managing portions of the project ourselves. Numerous issues required correction or rework during the project including painting, tile and grout work, plumbing-related items, wall repairs of newly installed sheet rock, and cutting out floor and tile that had been installed OVER the heating/air vent. Some work was completed adequately after concerns were raised, but many issues required repeated follow-up. The project also involved: * Long delays between work phases * Repeated schedule changes * Very limited on-site supervision * Billing discrepancies requiring clarification * Ongoing punch-list repairs long after the expected completion timeframe We were particularly frustrated that the project failed its first inspection. We ultimately communicated directly with the inspector ourselves and addressed the outstanding issues personally in order to help move the project toward final approval. While a few subcontractors did quality work, the overall experience was stressful, time-consuming, and required far more homeowner involvement than we believe should have been necessary for a professionally managed remodel. Based on our experience, we would not hire this company again.
