I recently visited Branson for the very first time. I have to say a lot of the town was very…read moretouristy and kitschy, so I was looking for something a little bit different. I was able to find that at this moonshine distillery! Located in a small strip mall of outlets, this gorgeous little location allows you to walk in and share your ID in order to taste everything that they offer. The best thing is that the tasting is completely free! The worker has so many recommendations for how to mix all of the different flavors into various things like coffee or ice cream or tropical cocktails, you can think of anything and they will have a recipe! At the time I visited, they were running a special where you could buy three and get the fourth one free, making it about $100 for a package of four bottles which is a really decent price. They will pack it up for you in a convenient cardboard carrying container and have you out the door in no time.

The only downside is they were not offering a menu or place to mark and rate your favorites, like at the winery. Plenty of other gifts and gadgets in the gift shop. Food located next door. Park in the parking garage and mosey down the Branson landing while you're in town.

My husband and I love coffee but unfortunately we are strictly decaf coffee drinkers (I know I know, it's sad). The owner does not make decaf at all. We were told why and while we understand the why, it is a bummer we couldn't enjoy in the morning nor buy coffee beans to take home.

Pancakes and biscuits and gravy were good but I could have made a full meal on just the two items. Went back for drinks and a cubs game later that night and had a great time. Didn't experience sticker shock for either breakfast or drinks. Looking forward to stopping back in next time we're in town.
